Sep 14, 2010It seems as if I press the screen, it touches some of the keys at the qwerty keyboard. This wakes the phone from key lock and starts the emergency call screen.This is becoming quite a problem as I can't have the phone in my pocket for more then a few minutes before I hear the dialing sound (the sound when pressing a 0-9 key)I'm hoping there's a way to turn off this function (emergency dialing), especially when keys are locked.Does anyone have the same issue? Perhaps some update or android programming can help me?

Jan 27, 2010if I have say the whole Recent calls list full - actually just one page will do - then my iPhone will auto dial people randomly from this list. Just recently I got a call from a family member saying that I had just dialed them but nothing was said.. I checked my recent list and nothing out of the ordinary was on this list. I did NOT dial this family member at the time it was said I did.
I have begun clearing my recent list for each call just in case the phone auto dials again without me knowing. Could this be an operator issue(Telenor,DK)? I have just recently reset my iPhone and started fresh with no restored backup from iTunes. iPhone 3G 8GB with up-to-date firmware. Plenty of music and apps and about 400MB free disk space.

Sep 8, 2014Whenever I carried my iPhone in a pant pocket it would inadvertently activate voice control and take any further noise or touch as a command to dial the most recently dialed number. I know that this normally happens when the home button is pressed for a few seconds.Â
Yet, after I had disabled Siri, set the screen to lock, plus I had the code protection in place, Siri would still start up and dial phone numbers.Â
The only solution, that I have found in this forum, is to enable Siri, enable code protection and then disable Siri in the code protection menu. This is not acceptable.Â

It worked great with my G2. It could fast charge my wife's G2 and my G2 at the same time. However, on my Nexus 5 I just got, it is only charging at USB speed.

Apr 6, 2012touch screen is nice - but my blackberry likes to dial my contacts by itself and one of these days someone is going to hear somthing that I do not want heard!!
It is no a phone to carry in your pants pocket that is for sure - I have bought the hard shell carrying holster for my belt and it still will call by itself - i have been trying to get into the habit of locking it and this still does not prevent it from somehow unlocking itself and phoning my contacts without my permission.

Motorola's website of Atrix accessories says that it should work. I've tried several models and brands, and none worked properly. Today I found the solution! The Atrix won't voice dial if the phone is sleeping/locked.Once you enter your passcode or fingerprint, it works flawlessly.

Just back it up.INSTEAD of simply backing it up, our relative did something, I don't know what, but called me to ask why nothing restored but 4 songs. All of her data is gone!
I don't know what was done or why. I am in a different state, and they did the opposite of what I instructed. Is there ANY way to restore backed up data IF it was indeed backed up through iTunes? They're using a Windows computer. Is it somewhere in a system directory? Can Apple tech support help? I'm livid right now because I assured my mom that all would be fine if she did what I told her to do.

Aug 10, 2010I bought a 3G from the US, which came locked of course. It's on the emergency call screen. The phone was running 4.0.1 as I was told by the seller.
I've tried Redsn0w but using 4.0 as all the tutorials state, no dice. I've tried making a 4.0 firmware in pwnage tool, no dice, iTunes doesn't like me going backwards on the firmware builds.
What are my options? Even if I could get the past activation I could log into safari and get wireless and then go to the unlock website in safari.

Sep 10, 2014My mum just gave me her old iPhone 4 and told me to wipe all the old info etc off it. So I did what I thought was factory reset, now it just has a logo of a cable pointing to something that says itunes and has a slider to slide for emergency numbers. I don't even have a mobile so don't know about iphones now I think I have seriously messed up her old phone.Â
