I noticed an odd behavior last week and again today. I have a Moto T605 BT kit in my truck. Only since the ICS upgrade, if I have my phone off, and then turn it on while in the truck, as soon as it connects to the kit, it dials the most recent number in my history, whether that call was inbound or outbound.

View 2 Replies View RelatedBoth my phone and my wife's phone have been randomly dialing another number during a active call. This causes the current call to drop without warning.
I thought it was my accidental error until it happened to her and then it reoccurred again and again on my phone.
if I have say the whole Recent calls list full - actually just one page will do - then my iPhone will auto dial people randomly from this list. Just recently I got a call from a family member saying that I had just dialed them but nothing was said.. I checked my recent list and nothing out of the ordinary was on this list. I did NOT dial this family member at the time it was said I did.
I have begun clearing my recent list for each call just in case the phone auto dials again without me knowing. Could this be an operator issue(Telenor,DK)? I have just recently reset my iPhone and started fresh with no restored backup from iTunes. iPhone 3G 8GB with up-to-date firmware. Plenty of music and apps and about 400MB free disk space.
The jelly bean upgrade wiped out all my speed dials. I went into phone settings and there is not an option for assigning speed dials (as indicated in the manual). How to set them up.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI sync contacts with a corporate Exchange / Outlook account. I can manage contacts on the phone or PC. Any contact who has say a business, home or mobile number and a fax number specified, if I go to the dialer, start typing their name, it does show the contact and a number (no indication of type such as fax or cell) so I tap that choice. Sadly, no, I can't just tell from looking at the number if it is fax or not. The phone dials the fax # which of course is incredibly annoying to my ear and that this dumb phone doesn't know not to try a fax number as the first choice for any contact who has a fax number.
I know I can set the default number per contact but I have hundreds of contacts and to go through each one to see if they have a fax and change it would really suck. Is there seriously no way to tell the phone not to use fax as first choice by default?
Ever since LP lag/stutter/hitch when swiping away apps in the recents menu. I've restarted and cleared cache but nothing has worked. I do not want to do a Factory Reset unless it's my last option.

My friend said he had recently got an update, if there was an update, what is the current build so I can verify mine, this issue has been going on for 1 to 2 weeks now. I use the stock text app as well as handcent. my friend uses only the stop app. any ideas as it is getting really irritating

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I noticed it for the first time on 2/25. My lapdock 500 doesn't charge properly anymore. I posted it first in the Lapdock forum, but now I post it here, because I noticed it doesn't charge properly only when Razr is docked. So I think it is the Razr issue and not the Lapdock issue.
When Razr is docked its battery will charge fully, however, the lapdock's battery will just sit there with the lightning bolt visible, but is not charging (24% currently). The phone's battery status continuously changes between Full/Discharging/Full..
The dock starts charging just fine as soon as the Razr is undocked. Any thoughts?
Edit: So I just noticed the Lapdock battery will charge only if the phone battery that is docked is not full. As soon as the phone battery is full the Lapdock battery stops charging.
Forget about it all. My Lapdock died today completely. Got a new one and everything is working just fine.

View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter doing recent updates, the normal swipe-to-unlock feature of my Bionic stopped working. When I press the power button, I'm taken right to the home screen; I don't have to unlock. Even if I use Settings -> Location & Security and add a PIN or pattern lock, these do not work; each time I turn the phone back on, I go right back to the home. Sometimes the swipe screen flashes up but then disappears. The "Security lock timer" setting does not matter (i.e. it is set to 1 minute, but even after that, the phone is never locked. Occurs even after a hard reboot (shutdown, remove battery, power back up), although sometimes the swipe to unlock works for a short time. I've never rooted this phone or done much else beside install some apps from the Android Market. I do have Lookout running.

After upgrading to Gingerbread I noticed that when I go to the recent apps screen and I try to open Tweetdeck (seems to be the only app that does this) I get a "Application is not installed on phone" error message. Which makes no sense because it's running in the background and opens fine. I've cleared my cache and uninstalled and reinstalled TD and still get the error. Assuming this is a bug, but it seems weird to only happen for a specific app.

Any one know how to set the format of these numbers to add a separator - dashes, periods, or spaces - to make the numbers easier to read and faster to identify? I use to never have a problem with this until this past spring. Basically i cannot connect my phone via USB cord to the computer. I thought i found a work around by removing the battery and then rebooting the computer. well it seam to be getting harder to do this.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm having trouble connecting to my company's Exchange server with my new Droid 3. I've upgraded from the original Droid, which had no problems connecting. I noticed one difference between the old email app on the Droid and new one on the Droid 3 is that the original app had a setting to "Allow all certificates". My company authorizes our own certificates, and I wonder if my problem might be related to that. I have exported my certificate from my desktop computer and installed it on the Droid 3, but that doesn't seem to have had any effect.When I attempt to set up my email account via Corporate Sync, I get an error: "Could not connect to server". The server is running, and everything else can connect to it fine.
View 15 Replies View RelatedIn the past month or so I've noticed that the GPS is having issues not connecting and when it does connect it's miles off of my location.Last weekend I was driving from MA. to CT. Fired up GPS and Google maps (my current location was displayed a few miles off) entered the End Point then Go, I get "Searching for GPS" so I tossed it up on the dashboard. Had my copilot fire up her GPS on her android and everything was working fine on hers. An hour into the ride mine all of a sudden it got it's collective brains together and started give directions.I believe it's the GPS that's twisted. I can try to check into places via FB and again it's miles off on the Bing map. I can try the same thing in google maps and it's miles off.Is there a util that can manipulate the GPS, maybe reset it, uninstall/reinstall?Any ideas on how to fix this?

I've also spent 4 days trying to figure out why I can't get my properly paired Atrix and handsfree speakerphone to voice dial at the touch of a button on the visor. Motorola's website of Atrix accessories says that it should work. I've tried several models and brands, and none worked properly. Today I found the solution! The Atrix won't voice dial if the phone is sleeping/locked.Once you enter your passcode or fingerprint, it works flawlessly.
View 6 Replies View RelatedSince the upgrade to ICS, my Droid Razr won't connect with the factory installed bluetooth in my 2008 Nissan Sentra. It worked perfectly before the upgrade but now nothing. It pairs and when I call using the steering wheel controls it turns on the phone with the correct person and calls them. However, you can't hear the phone ringing in the speaker and if/when the person answers you can't hear them. I was excited to get the upgrade but my car bluetooth is more important to me. Everything else works great but the bluetooth is a major safety issue for me as I drive a great deal. Does anyone know how to fix this or is there a way to undo the upgrade?

It takes about a minute or so for it to finally get going it just hangs there at first. Some sites take longer than others but they all do it. Once it grabs its good until you set it down again
View 10 Replies View RelatedAt home I am pretty sure it does the same thing. This morning when I got to the office, I noticed it was telling me that I have a wifi available. Open it up and there was the known wifi I have been connected to before, all week. Odd though, it says disabled but when i click it to connect, it says obtaining ip but then does back to not connected and says disabled. So basically I cannot connect to the wifi and I am 110% positive I have the correct password since I have connected to it just yesterday. Also curious why it isn't just connecting automatically to a known wifi. I have checked and others are on it right now.

Also, if I move an app to the sd card, when it's not connected to a computer, it disappears from my home screen as well.It seems like a recent update to the phone has caused problems with app to sd functionality. Is there any way to fix this other than moving all my apps back to the phone?
