I need instructions on how to change the MIN & MDN numbers for my carrier. They are preset in the X2 and I don't how how to delete or override the existing number.
View 3 RepliesI sync contacts with a corporate Exchange / Outlook account. I can manage contacts on the phone or PC. Any contact who has say a business, home or mobile number and a fax number specified, if I go to the dialer, start typing their name, it does show the contact and a number (no indication of type such as fax or cell) so I tap that choice. Sadly, no, I can't just tell from looking at the number if it is fax or not. The phone dials the fax # which of course is incredibly annoying to my ear and that this dumb phone doesn't know not to try a fax number as the first choice for any contact who has a fax number.
I know I can set the default number per contact but I have hundreds of contacts and to go through each one to see if they have a fax and change it would really suck. Is there seriously no way to tell the phone not to use fax as first choice by default?

Well, I put that information in, but everytime I press the voicemail button, it only dials *86. When I check my settings, my information is there, but it just won't dial that. Is there somewhere else that I need to enter the information?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just done a resync of my contacts from Outlook to Goggle. I have done everything I could to find why the Razr doesn't show (or has combined) some of my contacts. I use Outlook (2003), used gsyncit to get all of my contacts to Goggle (deleted all previous contacts). My Outlook shows 1436 contacts. My Google (google.com/contacts) shows 1436. I have a table (Toshiba) and the contacts in it (showing only the google contacts) is also 1,436. BUT, the Razr did show 1434 on the initial sync, now shows 1,433 contacts. Another contact "lost" on the cell phone when the tablet and google on the web all showing the same number as Outlook

Only since the ICS upgrade, if I have my phone off, and then turn it on while in the truck, as soon as it connects to the kit, it dials the most recent number in my history, whether that call was inbound or outbound.

View 6 Replies View RelatedBoth my phone and my wife's phone have been randomly dialing another number during a active call. This causes the current call to drop without warning.
I thought it was my accidental error until it happened to her and then it reoccurred again and again on my phone.
I just found a problem with my Bionic today. I was trying to access my voicemail and had to hit the number 1 on the dial pad during a call to enter my mailbox number.
The number 1 would not do anything during the call. All other numbers worked. If I kept trying to press the number 1 the screen would go black for a second then return with the dial pad. A factory reset did not cure it.
I went to a local Verizon store and the person there told me that this is a known issue and it only happens when the volume is up full. He then said that I have to put the volume down to 1/2 in order for the number 1 to work properly during a call
I called Motorola when I returned home and was told that this is not a known issue - they never heard of it.
Researching on Google and this Forum I have found others that have had this same issue. I have not heard of any resolution yet.
Both Motorola and Verizon Phone Tech Support recommended replacing the phone. Verizon Tech Support was supposed to call me back in an hour after my call with them to see what I wanted to do but never did. I was supposed to keep trying the number 1 after they had me force stop and clear the dialer and virtual keyboard. The problem still exists.
I only have a matter of hours before my 14 days is up at Verizon at which point I will be given a refurbished phone. For some reason I could not log onto this forum today to post this. I just now got in.
Do any other owners of the Bionic experience this? I don't want to replace the phone if they all do it. It's down to the wire now!
On the first gen droid you could send a number directly to voicemail, or have a silent ring. However, I cannot figure out how to do it on the Droid Razr...There is no option, and it will not allow me to create a Smart Action to do so, either. If you know

I am using E71, which firmware version is 410.21.010. I have a contact which has 2 number (mobile and Telephone) and i have set mobile as default. When i make call from the contacts applicaition it is calling to mobile without showing the number list. But if i call from the homescreen by typing the name, it is showing the number list. I also created new contacts with more than a number and tried, it's not working... And when it shows the number list in the homescreen, pressing the call end button doesn't cancel showing the number list. I have to press the cancel button to cancel the list showing...
