I have iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1.2 and I'm experiencing a Bluetooth issue with my 2013 BMW 3-series. iOS randomly drops the Bluetooth connection (Hands Free) to my BMW during a phone call. The phone call is not dropped, but it still goes on in the iPhone, but the Bluetooth connection simply drops.Â
I have updated the BMW Connected Driver to the latest version from URL.... and it does..I suspect the issue is at the iOS side, since I'd day that the iOS 7.1 update introduced it and I did not have the issue with iOS 7.0.Â

It lost the ability to connect to the internet via the AT&T cell network, although it could still make phone calls, and could still connect to the internet via a WiFi network.After three weeks of attempts to fix this myself, I eventually called AT&T. The tech support people were very friendly and helpful, of course, and eventually discovered that my cell-to-internet privileges had been rescinded because they thought someone might have stolen my phone.

Also, if I try to add them back, I have no options anymore for adding email accounts. It only gives options for Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Lotus Notes, and Skype and the lotus notes and skype is there because I additionally installed that. Does anyone review functions of the phone before they release updates or are we all just Beta testers for Sprint and Motorola. I had just got my phone fixed with all the other issues.

suddenly, friday of three day memorial holiday iphone internet connections are off or down. can no longer do search using bing, google or yahoo. debug console "no errors" error i get is "cannot open because server stopped respondig." i have had times could not connect to Internet ( i now appear to have lost Internet favorites that were there yesterday. itunes and app store connections fail. yahoo weather and the weather channel has also failed. ap and my yahoo have failed. facebook and pandora have almost always worked, well i think pandora failed once. i checked carrier, i never changed anything like this and all are correct.i do not see dns options.i have had this 3g version 4.2.1 for years now without this problem. i did not travel out of country in fact have not left present location. i may have deleted a datatbase in safari that were old. i reset network connection, shutdown phone some things may work for a while but there are still features in safari that fail such as search. did i pick up malware>

The new Android release has removed the ability in the music player to stop a song, and you can no longer clear out a playlist (I don't mean deleting a playlist, I mean clearing one out, which essentially stopped music from being played). Tech support level 2 told me that this was purposely done by the engineers at Motorola, but I have no idea why, and I can't seem to get in touch with them.

I don't realize this until I try to send a message or make a call. Sometimes it will go all day long before I notice. I can't get into blackberry world - of course I can't log into blackberry on the internet either (not sure what's up with that). I shuts me out of Facebook and says this application is supported through my carrier. It messed up all my ringtones. At first I couldn't delete any messages. I can finally do that - after doing the security wipe. In fact I've had to do a security wipe 3 times since they sent that update out! I hope they're sending an update out soon to fix this last update.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy camera randomly lost the option to take videos recently (when I press the 4 circles in the corner of the camera screen, I only get the Camera or Selfie option, and the gallery preview square beside the shutter button has gone too). Also, after each photo, I get a tick or an arrow at the bottom, the arrow deletes the picture and lets you take another, the tick saves the picture and exits the app. Every time. This is no good if I am taking more than one picture.
I have just today upgraded to 5.0 Lollipop, and factory reset the phone, no joy in either case, but upon entering the app just once I got some funky photo booth option and another one too. Have booted it up in safe mode and the video options return, but after deleting any and all recently downloaded (since January) apps, nothing is bringing back the functionality.
After 8.1.1 update my iphone looses internet connection a few minutes after powering it on.

For example if I restart my phone before I go to sleep, wake up the next morning, about an hour or so in to my day I will open the facebook or twitter app and my feed's wont refresh although I have perfectly fine network and my whatsapp & bbm work fine, the same problem is with the browser, I try search something and have no luck either.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhat I finding is happening is that images (captured with the camera in the DCIM folder) and MP3s are being removed and placed into the LOST.DIR folder of the SD Card (internal memory isn't a problem). For example, the most recent occurrence was where by I copied on 4GB of music onto the phone and then a short time later after disconnecting the USB cable, I found that quite a number (2.7GB) of the files disappeared into the LOST.DIR folder.
I verified that the files were the orignal MP3's by changing the extension of the files to .mp3 and was able to play the file. Other times I've taken a photo with the camera and saved the JPG on the SD card, a few days later the file disappeared. The problem has occurred on Android version 2.3.5 and even now after updating to 2.3.6. I don't have any 3rd party music or photo apps. The SD Card is a 32GB Kingston class 10 card which I formatted in the phone before copying any data to it.
I've lost all Internet capabilities on my C7; it happened two weeks ago when I went to the middle of nowhere and had no reception whatsoever, upon returning to civilisation the normal phone reception returned fine but the Internet and email will not work at all - it won't pick up previously recognised wi-fi networks and won't connect through my WAP either.
It has happened before but always came back within a day or so, but as said this has now lasted two weeks and absolutely nothing.
I puked my phone and lost all connection to Bluetooth, now my car is saying that my phone is authorized but it is still not connecting, the car book says that there should be a screen that asks for the Passcode and that it should be entered into the phone as well, but the car doesn't ask for this, making me think that the car still has the Passcode put in originally but the phone has lost it, how do I get up a menu to enter the Passcode?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter a year and a half of working just fine, my Blackberry 8110 will not connect to my PC via USB. I am using Windows XP Pro ver. 2002 SR 3 and Desktop manager Ver 4.3.0.17. The phone does not appear in Windows device manager when connected, desktop mgr reports no connection and cannot detect the device when prompted. After a hard reset the charging icon appears on the phone momentarily when first plugged into the PC then disappears and will not reappear without another reset. I can charge the unit with an AC charger until I plug it into the PC. After that it is unresponsive to the charger until reset. The phone is fully charged. I read a thread about fiddling with the connection at the phone end of the USB cable. I was able to get an intermittent connection using this technique (or at least the charging icon appeared intermittently), but now that does not seem to make any difference. The AC charger connection is completely solid when I move the plug around. I have removed and reinstalled BDM, no change.Several weeks ago I installed a USB driver for an M audio midi interface and had a great deal of difficulty getting that device to work. I don;t recall whether I have synced the phone since then. I am wondering if that created some sort of conflict or if it somehow corrupted the driver. Other obvious causes are the USB port on the phone or problem with the phone OS. I have tried both USB ports on laptop and both immediately recognize a thumb drive. I don't know how to update/reinstall the RIM driver since the phone other than remove and reinstall BDM which I have done. I am reluctant to wipe the phone without some confidence it will resync. Also thought about switching to bluetooth sync but would rather not buy gear if the phone is KO'd.
