BB Bold 9700 :: Setting Up As Modem / Tethering?
Apr 6, 2010I signed up for the teathering service today. Supposedly, I can hook the usb cable in my cpu and the BB will work as a modem in places that I don't have a wireless connection??? The At&t cust service said if I plugged it in the computer would walk me through. No such luck.. Any help for a non techee type user.

I tried to do a test with another Iphone to find the reason why this happened. So I found out that it couldn't be a number block nor a Facetime being turned off. Jul 3, 2012When I use voice dial (usually via bluetooth headset on iPhone 3GS), if the iPhone decides it has found an exact match, it will notify me of the match and then start dialing. It does not confirm the match with me, and when it starts dialing, the "Cancel" keyword does not work - nor does pressing the call button on my headset do anything.
Instead, I have to frantically dig my phone out of my pocket and scramble to the phone interface and presss "End Call" before the accidental international call goes through.
Is there a way to allow either or both actions in iOS? Or is there a way to submit an enhancement request?
