OK, this might sound like a silly Q, but when I connect my BB 9700 to my home broadband router via wi-fi, are all browsing data downloads automatically directed via the wi-fi, rather than via my carrier's network, or is there a setting somewhere that I need to change?

I have a blackberry Curve 9300 running v5.0.0.846. The Wi-fi is always greyed out for open Wifi connections at airports, hotels, etc. I did manage to get it to turn white once but that was for a WEP-protected connection where I connected manually. On my old LG Ku990 i could easily connect to the web with no need to set anything up and got charged per data received (this actually was included in my free calls). I had such high hopes for the curve to be better than that! Why can't i just connect via the phone as i could on my old LG? View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using a C7 with the built in Acrobat reader LE 2.5. The application is unable to open any password protected PDFs. The acrobat reader LE 2.5 on E63 works fine.
Is there a limitation on the C7 application? Is there a workaround or any other app which will help me read pwd protected PDF?
Before the sense update, I was able to change my songs etc. by flicking the music app up if I was already listening to music without inputting my password. Is there a way to do it now too? I know u can add the page in the lock screen that shows ur music player but its not as convenient as what I want.

The system doesn't remember the password. The curious fact is that my iPad 2 isn't affected by this bug. It is on iOS 5.1 too but I simply upgraded it from 5.0.1 without a clean install. Resetting network settings doesn't make it to work, the same with an hard reset.

Just bought an iphone 4s and have been having trouble with wifi at home where i use a Netgear router. As soon as the wifi connection is lost or the phone goes into sleep, the wifi password has to be re-entered.The router has WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES]encryption and the SSID is on broadcast.At work, the iphone remembers the password no trouble, same at a friends apartment. I also have an ipad 2, ipod touch and a mac book pro, none of which have any trouble with the wifi.I have tried reset the network settings and also restored the phone (i only got it day before, so not much on there) but no change. Its presently running 5.1.1 (9B206)
