I had no issues with this at all until the Lollipop update. I have 1 WIFI network that my phone will connect to and sometimes stay connected with no issues at all, but most of the time it will connect for a couple of minutes and the the network changes to a 'Disabled' status.
Sprint - LG G3
I have a Samsung Galaxy s5, and recently updated to Lollipop. Had all the major problems reported, so I did a system restore which fixed a few of them. My most pressing concern, however, is that I can no longer connect to my work WIFI. I had no problems connecting prior to the update. The WIFI is set up where you connect, and then a webpage should open up for you to login to the system. My browser opens, but will not load a page. The progress bar gets stuck on one spot.

I look on the web and there is a app that looks absolutly perfect for the job called iblacklist. It looks like I need to "jailbreak" my phone which looks like a fairly risky thing to do. Is there a better more responsible way of doing this?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI keep receiving between 2 to3 SMS's per day from a user just identified by a number (namely, 70371). The messages contain a URL address. These 50 to 70 messages per month serve no purpose but to increase my phone bill. I have asked my carrier (Movistar), who has told me there is no way to block the sender (obviously: my carrier is happy with the fact that 10% of my phone bill comes from these SMS messages). Any way to block a specific sender?

When I got to work today, I tried connecting to the same wifi point I always have, but when I try to connect it says "Connected, no Internet"I switched to Project Fi from T-Mobile, where I was using a Note 4 and I was able to connect and use the network yesterday on the N4 w/ T-Mo, but can't today with the 6P and Fi.

The phone says that I have connected, but complains that I have no network connection at those times.
Traveling with the Xoom wi-fi and it suddenly decided not to connect with open wi-fi networks. Works fine on home network and worked fine on open networks a couple of weeks ago. Now, it sees the network, saves the network but when you tap "OK" to connect nothing happens.

There it was so that the person automatically got a busy signal when they called me and I don't need to push the red ring-off-key. Is there something on blackberry too??

When visiting the desktop version of the (British newspaper) Guardian site on my iPhone this morning I think I inadvertently brushed against one of the ad links. I was immediately taken to the AppStore to a game called Empire: Four Kingdoms made by Goodgame Studios.
I noticed that before switching to the AppStore Safari's address bar briefly showed Network.admarket.com.
I have tried erasing my browsing history, cookies data, and I've rebooted the iPhone. Nothing has solved the problem so far. Each time I returned to the Guardian site I was transported to the game ad.
How can I prevent subsequent visits to a legitimate news site repeating this irritating and unwanted detour?
