Wll, when I tried connecting my phone, it says "Your phone is having troubles" error message. The instruction says to power off the phone. But no luck. It should pause at the extension and wait to dial it until i click to do so. My older Blackberry had no issue performing this task. Seems like a major programming oversite on Apple's end.

When I am trying to do a Facetime Call (Audio and Facetime video), it gives right away a message of "User not available for Facetime". This number used to work no problem before. I tried to do a test with another Iphone to find the reason why this happened. So I found out that it couldn't be a number block nor a Facetime being turned off. Why it jumps directly to the message of "User not available"? It seems like an auto-decline incoming calls, but Iphone does not have such option.Â

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I use voice dial (usually via bluetooth headset on iPhone 3GS), if the iPhone decides it has found an exact match, it will notify me of the match and then start dialing. It does not confirm the match with me, and when it starts dialing, the "Cancel" keyword does not work - nor does pressing the call button on my headset do anything.
Instead, I have to frantically dig my phone out of my pocket and scramble to the phone interface and presss "End Call" before the accidental international call goes through.
Is there a way to allow either or both actions in iOS? Or is there a way to submit an enhancement request?

View 3 Replies View RelatedFor a few years now, businesses have been looking for a replacement device for the unfortunately slowly dying Blackberries they have been using since about a decade. In the past few years the iPhone has gained some ground on that aspect, as a lot more businesses have started supporting in-house use of the device. Android on the other hand, as flexible, versatile and capable as it may be, has it's share of challenges for a business that cannot be overlooked. Such as fragmentation, the extremely wide variety of devices and their features, etc. For those reasons, I don't see Android being widely adopted in the business market in the next few years.
However with the announcement of Windows Phone 8, and the new business friendly features that are coming,R() I think we could see a turnaround as business slowly, perhaps VERY slowly, start to adopt Windows Phone as their trusted OS for the enterprise. This could be Windows Phone's saving grace, as it has been for RIM for a very long time. Although, if and when Microsoft grabs a good chunk of business smartphone marketshare, hopefully it will also give them a boost of interest for the consumer part of the equation. Because with these new features, Windows Phone is just as good a business device than a consumer device.
Also, don't forget about how many different Microsoft products are used in the vast majority of enterprises : Windows for Desktops, Windows Server, Office, Sharepoint, Exchange, etc. are all products that are ...EXTREMELY present in the industry. This translates into Microsoft begin known as a very "trusted" company, and any product coming from them is assumed to have a certain level of quality and business-friendliness to it.
It simply freezes at the contacts page and will not change from the contacts page. It will not change screens from this selected page (to recents, missed calls, etc) or allow me to select any contact names. The rest of my phone is working fine. Txt messaging is fine. I can receive calls.

I have my phone # associated with Google Voice such that when someone calls my Google Voice number ... it rings my iphone and my landling. I have configured GV (just like a lot of other GV users) to make me press 1 to take the incoming call.Â
This worked wonderfully on my iphone 4s (IOS 7.x). But there is a problem with either iPhone6 or IOS 8.XÂ ... now the problem ...Â
- When I pickup the call on the cell ... GV asks me to press 1 (like it always does). I press 1 ... No acknowledgement. I can hear the DTMF tone but it does not get registered.
- When I pickup the call on my landline ... I am able to press 1 and accept the incoming call.
- My first thought was there is a bug in IOS when the phone is in the locked screen ... but no ... even when I get the call with the phone unlocked ... it will not register any of the DTMF keys
- To test this I added my wife's iPhone 4 (not 4S) running IOS 7.1 to my GV account. I was able to answer the call by pressing 1.Â
