However, I already had a folder called "music" in my OneDrive root folder (i.e. OneDriveMusic). When I open my Xbox Music app on my Icon, it doesn't see the folder and doesn't see the music that I already have there. So how do I get it to work. It's working fine on my SP3.
I checked my Xbox account and it shows I'm signed in.

May 14, 2012I just got an iPhone for my birthday, the iPhone 4S, and I was getting everything from my iPod to my iPhone. It worked perfectly, and I was deleting some unwanted apps. I was moving apps around, too, and when I moved one close to the bottom where Phone, Mail, Safari and Music are, the music icon disappeared! Is there anyway I can get it back?

May 11, 2012i'm posting this because someone else posted about it but the subject wasn't precise. on our iphone 4 with 5.1.1 there is no replay or shuffle icon. i just checked my daughter's ipod touch 4g with 5.1.1 and the icons are there. is anyone else missing the icons on their iphone?

Lumia Icon :: How To Back Up Music
Jul 29, 2014Just took the leap from IPhone to the Nokia Lumia Icon despite all the criticism from friends and family who are avid IPhone users. I was a little unsure at first and nervous but when I opened that thing up it was amazing. So about two hours into playing with it I wanted to try my hand at putting music on it. So I plugged it into my computer, nothing, I read everything online about how to do it, and so I kept trying the computer and still nothing. Ehhh I'll figure it out later. I go to charge it at night, nothing. So to make a longer story a little shorter, I took it back to Verizon to get a new one not even 24 hours after I got it. Now I'm super nervous about having an Icon, but so far this is day 3 and I'm loving it. I have all my music on it but I wanted to know if there was anyway to back up the music I have to my computer or is that just something I need to use SkyDrive for?

Aug 2, 2012I found myself doing so much stuffs on my 9700 last nite, things that got me confusing at some point which made me sleep off. I woke up 2day to play music (as usual) and suddenly discovered that my default music icon isn't displayed, with just video, picture, video cam and etc just showing. I did a search on my home screen and discovered it, but it just wasn't showing normal, it showed faintly kind of although it still played my music from there. But still going through 'the media' again, its not showing...ts more like I have to always play my music through searching on my homescreen.

Mar 12, 2014I stream a ton through blue tooth to my vehicle (Jeep wrangler via Uconnect). I get bad skipping periodically. To explain a song will be playing and I notices there is a "skip" in the song and as time goes on the skipping gets worse, the song fast forwards a second. Mostly happens on the Nokia + app, but occasionally happens on pandora.
I tried head pones and I didn't notice it, but to be fair I only did it for one or two songs. I do not know if it is a BT issue or if it is something to do with the storage. I turned off driving mode, turned it back on.... Also, music occasionally stops when I get a text message or an email. Not all the time, just maybe 50% of the time? I have to pause the stream/song and hit play again for the music to continue. I had no issues with my GNEX (went through several....POS phone....)

My contacts are still there, I can find them by searching but don't have an icon on my home page (or anywhere else) to click on to add new contacts or find old ones. Can anyone advise what I've done? Mar 22, 2012My brothers computer broke. It was a PC. But he had his iPhone synced with it. So now he wants to get the music he lost in that computer to download to his new computer. But the music he purchased is on his iPhone, and the computer wont let him transfer the music from his iPhone, to his new computer. It tells him this music was synced with a different library and won't let him transfer the music.
Does anyone know a work around for this. I know he is using a PC, but I figure, and Apple user, who brakes his Laptop(I'm not talking about crashing, I am talking about actually braking, it was smashed basically), would run into the same problem, your iPhone has Music that was synced with another Library, and it wont let you move the music to the new library. Even though this music was all purchased with the same Apple ID, that doesn't seem to matter. Now, I know that one of the new features of iTunes lets you re-download music you purchased and may have lost, without having to purchase it again. But none of the music from that broken laptop appears in that list of re-downloadable music. All was purchased from iTunes.
