However, I already had a folder called "music" in my OneDrive root folder (i.e. OneDriveMusic). When I open my Xbox Music app on my Icon, it doesn't see the folder and doesn't see the music that I already have there. So how do I get it to work. It's working fine on my SP3.
I checked my Xbox account and it shows I'm signed in.
I have my Skydrive / Onedrive storage settings set up (in Settings/Photos + Camera/Auto upload/Skydrive - turned on, and best quality (needs wifi) set for both photos and videos.
For some reason, videos are not uploading, even when i'm connected to WIFI. Is there a max file size for uploading? If I go into Pocket File Manager, I can copy/paste a video file into my Skydrive folder, but this doesn't seem to be the best way to do this. The files should auto-upload based on the settings Ive selected.
Also - If I delete my low res photos from within pocket file manager (not DNG, the 16mp jpg files), will they delete from my photos app?
I've long since gotten rid of my NAS and moved to Onedrive and Netflix and so far I'm loving 'Ze Cloud'! However one feature I'd love to see (and I'm hoping exists) is the ability to not just play music from your Onedrive folder (which some apps can already do) but have a music folder that syncs to your phone and physically downloads whatever is in that folder to your phone's music folder. At this stage my music folder is linked on all my PCs but when I want to update my phone (to play in my car when reception isn't available) I still have to physically find and connect a cable. It's not a major annoyance but it'd be far more seamless if done over the wifi etc.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI know that in the recent past, the Lumina 1020 couldn't auto upload raw files to SkyDrive. I was just wondering if anything has changed now that it's OneDrive. Is it now possible to auto upload our raw files to OneDrive?
I am hoping that we could essentially take pictures (away from our computers and cables) and just delete the photos to make room on the phones (knowing that they are safely backed up on OneDrive).

View 4 Replies View RelatedAlright, been playing around with the 950 since yesterday and am noticing that none of my photos will sync to OneDrive. I have everything properly configured, but am seeing this error in the "Camera" pivot of the Progress menu in the OneDrive app:
"Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again in a few minutes."
I've got 1.24 TB free space available out there, so that's not a problem. Photos sync fine via USB, so they're in good shape.
checked the settings and it showing that the photos should be be automatically uploaded to onedrive but thats not happening, not sure if ive overlooked a setting
View 12 Replies View RelatedIf I reformat my SD card in my ATT 950 (since it seems to be wreaking all sorts of having since I installed it), will the pictures that have been uploaded to OneDrive still contain the "Living Images" 1 second video clip?
Alternatively, is there a way to move the pictures/videos from the SD to the internal storage, reformat the SD card, and then move them back without having them re-uploaded to OneDrive after moving them?
I've only had my Lumia 1020 for a few weeks after deciding that I was bored with Android. In fact, just returned from Paris where I spent Christmas with the family. Sadly, over the period of my stay there WiFi was scarce so when I checked if my snaps had synched or not I saw that it was waiting for WiFi. Now I've been home a few days with a good WiFi connection in surprised too see that very few pictures have uploaded and that there's no uploads pending. I've checked the backup setting screen and all is as it should be, but there's no option to stay or force the upload. One thing I lived with Android was the Google+ photo section that synched instantly and was ready sand waiting straight away.... Looks like Windows 8.1 isn't as automatic,

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a specific reason why the picture upload to onedrive seem to be pretty random? For example, today I shot about a dozen pictures with my 950, but after a few hours only 6 of them are uploaded. I have noticed this behavior almost all the time. After many, many hours the full session might be uploaded. But not always everyone of them.
View 10 Replies View RelatedEver since using the 8.1 dev preview, I noticed something odd about the photo sizes up my camera roll folder on OneDrive. I currently have my backup settings for "best quality (wi-fi only)" for pictures (videos are not backed up). However, ALL photo sizes are around 10 MB, and the dimensions confirm that it is the hi-res 38 MP shots being backed up, not the 5 MP oversampled photos. This never happened prior to the 8.1 preview.
View 17 Replies View RelatedAll my various folders from my tablet's OneDrive were transferred automatically to my Nokia Lumia's OneDrive. However, all the files in my "Favourites" folder show as only 1kb each and have the words "Just me" under each entry. None of them will open. When I try to open one, a warning comes up stating:" We couldn't open the file. Make sure you're connected to a Wi-Fi network" (Which of course I am). Maybe I need an app to open these "Favourite" websites. But which one?

View 10 Replies View RelatedJust took the leap from IPhone to the Nokia Lumia Icon despite all the criticism from friends and family who are avid IPhone users. I was a little unsure at first and nervous but when I opened that thing up it was amazing. So about two hours into playing with it I wanted to try my hand at putting music on it. So I plugged it into my computer, nothing, I read everything online about how to do it, and so I kept trying the computer and still nothing. Ehhh I'll figure it out later. I go to charge it at night, nothing. So to make a longer story a little shorter, I took it back to Verizon to get a new one not even 24 hours after I got it. Now I'm super nervous about having an Icon, but so far this is day 3 and I'm loving it. I have all my music on it but I wanted to know if there was anyway to back up the music I have to my computer or is that just something I need to use SkyDrive for?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI stream a ton through blue tooth to my vehicle (Jeep wrangler via Uconnect). I get bad skipping periodically. To explain a song will be playing and I notices there is a "skip" in the song and as time goes on the skipping gets worse, the song fast forwards a second. Mostly happens on the Nokia + app, but occasionally happens on pandora.
I tried head pones and I didn't notice it, but to be fair I only did it for one or two songs. I do not know if it is a BT issue or if it is something to do with the storage. I turned off driving mode, turned it back on.... Also, music occasionally stops when I get a text message or an email. Not all the time, just maybe 50% of the time? I have to pause the stream/song and hit play again for the music to continue. I had no issues with my GNEX (went through several....POS phone....)

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a 2011 Subaru Outback with the factory stereo. Bluetooth audio works great for me for calls and Siri. But I have yet to discover how streaming music works. I didn't think it was supported by my stereo at first, but then yesterday, out of the blue, my music app displayed the AirTunes logo and I could see the "CAR_MEDIA" name of my stereo listed there. I tried to select it and it disappeared and I haven't seen it since. Anyone else have this problem or know how to get music to stream through bluetooth?

I got a new (2012) car with BlueTooth. When I initiate pairing, I'm asked for 4-digit code displayed on the car. But before I can enter that code, the formular/screen exits and it says "Unable to connect" on my SGS2. Tried it 10 times with same result. After that it does actually connect (and works) with phone. But the music streaming is not an option. My other car has a Sony stereo which the SGS2 connects just fine to, both phone and music.i guess it's a compatibility issue between ICS BT and my new car's BT. What can I do besides cry at the car-dealer (where he will laugh and tell me to get another phone)?
