Alright, been playing around with the 950 since yesterday and am noticing that none of my photos will sync to OneDrive. I have everything properly configured, but am seeing this error in the "Camera" pivot of the Progress menu in the OneDrive app:
"Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again in a few minutes."
I've got 1.24 TB free space available out there, so that's not a problem. Photos sync fine via USB, so they're in good shape.
checked the settings and it showing that the photos should be be automatically uploaded to onedrive but thats not happening, not sure if ive overlooked a setting
How to auto upload Highres 34MP photos to Onedrive. I check option in Onedrove to uplad photos in high resolution but it upload 5MB photos and 34MP photos leave on the phone, and I need manually to move them from time to time. Is there any option to move them automatically as same way as Ondrive upload 5MP photos?
We have the option to disable all data traffic or only the wi-fi or only the GPS.But I want to have everything open and just turn off the data traffic through telephony network in order to avoid additional charges. How can I block only that??? Why not have one choice to disable only data traffic via mobile phone line (gprs)
The data usage meter in the system settings did not pick up the usage while in mobile hotspot mode. It missed 2Gb of cloud sync with my ultrabook.
I have searched forums and spoke to a seemingly knowledgeable person at Microsoft store, who told me he had not heard of this problem.
I checked the Windows Feedback app and there are several other reports of the same. Yet, it is not a big trending item in forums. Tracking data when in hotspot should be a primary function.
I have a new T-Mobile S6 Edge and love the phone, but one thing I have not figured out is why I still get background mobile data usage even though I have disabled mobile data and set "restrict background data". Both tuiService and OS services are downloading approximately 100K at a time periodically over mobile data throughout the day even though I have a wifi connection.
I know that in the recent past, the Lumina 1020 couldn't auto upload raw files to SkyDrive. I was just wondering if anything has changed now that it's OneDrive. Is it now possible to auto upload our raw files to OneDrive?
I am hoping that we could essentially take pictures (away from our computers and cables) and just delete the photos to make room on the phones (knowing that they are safely backed up on OneDrive).
ive got an iphone 3g on o2 and im trying to directly upload photos from my phone to a web site using the sites direct upload function but my iphone wont let me.
is there a simple solution other than emailing my pics to the website it self please. im trying to upload via wi-fi not mobile internet.
If I reformat my SD card in my ATT 950 (since it seems to be wreaking all sorts of having since I installed it), will the pictures that have been uploaded to OneDrive still contain the "Living Images" 1 second video clip?
Alternatively, is there a way to move the pictures/videos from the SD to the internal storage, reformat the SD card, and then move them back without having them re-uploaded to OneDrive after moving them?
I've only had my Lumia 1020 for a few weeks after deciding that I was bored with Android. In fact, just returned from Paris where I spent Christmas with the family. Sadly, over the period of my stay there WiFi was scarce so when I checked if my snaps had synched or not I saw that it was waiting for WiFi. Now I've been home a few days with a good WiFi connection in surprised too see that very few pictures have uploaded and that there's no uploads pending. I've checked the backup setting screen and all is as it should be, but there's no option to stay or force the upload. One thing I lived with Android was the Google+ photo section that synched instantly and was ready sand waiting straight away.... Looks like Windows 8.1 isn't as automatic,
If I click share to Onedrive from the photos hub, does it send the full 34mp photo or the smaller 5mp? Just trying to prepare my phone for a hard reset as it's become so unreliable after installing 8.1.
Is there a specific reason why the picture upload to onedrive seem to be pretty random? For example, today I shot about a dozen pictures with my 950, but after a few hours only 6 of them are uploaded. I have noticed this behavior almost all the time. After many, many hours the full session might be uploaded. But not always everyone of them.
Ever since using the 8.1 dev preview, I noticed something odd about the photo sizes up my camera roll folder on OneDrive. I currently have my backup settings for "best quality (wi-fi only)" for pictures (videos are not backed up). However, ALL photo sizes are around 10 MB, and the dimensions confirm that it is the hi-res 38 MP shots being backed up, not the 5 MP oversampled photos. This never happened prior to the 8.1 preview.
I've had other phones and never had this problem; you plug in the USB and it recognizes it as a drive. I just switched from S4 to S6 and it won't recognize it. I've even tried different cables.
I got a Lumia 800 about two months ago. I did have a problem getting the Internet to work. It took me a day and some intense googling but I got it to work. It has worked fine.Day before yesterday, the Zune software(music player of the phone) stopped updating. I was instructed to reset my phone. Since then I have not been able to figure out to get the data working on my phone.I've tried several things. I've been in the apn settings many many times. I've tried it with apn:simple and everything else blank. I've tried it with apn:simple, proxy:216.155.165.050, port:8080I've tried it with apn:simple, proxy:216.155.165.50, port: 8080 (cust serv said use .50 over .050)I've tried it with apn:simple, proxy:216.155.165.50:8080 (auto populated port with 80 I've tried it with apn:simple, proxy:216.155.165.50:80, port:80 When I open the browser I get a 503 error code and androidapi.t-mobile.com/apppack.mvno.html.Twice it worked for 5 minutes.I know it is possible, I don't remember what I did two months ago. I want to say there was settings other than APN that made it work.
All my various folders from my tablet's OneDrive were transferred automatically to my Nokia Lumia's OneDrive. However, all the files in my "Favourites" folder show as only 1kb each and have the words "Just me" under each entry. None of them will open. When I try to open one, a warning comes up stating:" We couldn't open the file. Make sure you're connected to a Wi-Fi network" (Which of course I am). Maybe I need an app to open these "Favourite" websites. But which one?
I have my Skydrive / Onedrive storage settings set up (in Settings/Photos + Camera/Auto upload/Skydrive - turned on, and best quality (needs wifi) set for both photos and videos.
For some reason, videos are not uploading, even when i'm connected to WIFI. Is there a max file size for uploading? If I go into Pocket File Manager, I can copy/paste a video file into my Skydrive folder, but this doesn't seem to be the best way to do this. The files should auto-upload based on the settings Ive selected.
Also - If I delete my low res photos from within pocket file manager (not DNG, the 16mp jpg files), will they delete from my photos app?
I've long since gotten rid of my NAS and moved to Onedrive and Netflix and so far I'm loving 'Ze Cloud'! However one feature I'd love to see (and I'm hoping exists) is the ability to not just play music from your Onedrive folder (which some apps can already do) but have a music folder that syncs to your phone and physically downloads whatever is in that folder to your phone's music folder. At this stage my music folder is linked on all my PCs but when I want to update my phone (to play in my car when reception isn't available) I still have to physically find and connect a cable. It's not a major annoyance but it'd be far more seamless if done over the wifi etc.
I use my Nokia 1520 as a secondary device. All of a sudden I can't access the marketplace and I can't listen to the music I uploaded to OneDrive. When I try to access the marketplace, I get "There is a problem completing your request. Try again later. Inquiring minds might find this error code useful 805a8011."
Dis has really been a source of worry to me. I have searched through the forum but no solution has been offered thus far.I am in nigeria and use mtn nigeria carrier. But so far, only 2G or '3G and 2G' options are available on my device.
I'm not able to transfer songs from my friends mobile through Bluetooth, then tried to download mp3 songs via email which friend had sent, it said this format is not supported. I tried to get into nokia.com/music to download the song, my mobile name is not listed in the list which nokia has in their website. How to upload the music into my lumia 710...
I just got my Nokia Icon a couple months ago and wasn't really having any issues with pictures and videos uploading into skydrive. About a month ago, though, it just stopped working out of the blue. I'm trying to manually upload and it still doesn't work. I use my phone for work and don't have any easy way to transfer those files.
How to access your music collection from OneDrive with Xbox Music | Windows Central
However, I already had a folder called "music" in my OneDrive root folder (i.e. OneDriveMusic). When I open my Xbox Music app on my Icon, it doesn't see the folder and doesn't see the music that I already have there. So how do I get it to work. It's working fine on my SP3.
I checked my Xbox account and it shows I'm signed in.
Prior to the Cyan update the uploading from camera roll or just after a pic was very fast. Now it opens the Facebook page when you upload and if you leave the page it stops uploading.
Still struggling to get to grips with my new iPhone 4S....Reading the User Guide it says "to turn Cellular Data off go to Settings/General/Network then turn Cellular Data off".The only problem with my phone is that "Cellular Data" does not appear in the Network screen. However "Mobile Data" does.is it the the same thing? For cost reasons I would like to be in control of when I use the internet and already I have inadvertantly incurred charges without being aware that I had gone on to the internet. Will selecting "Mobile Data" to "OFF" solve my problem.
