I have a 2011 Subaru Outback with the factory stereo. Bluetooth audio works great for me for calls and Siri. But I have yet to discover how streaming music works. I didn't think it was supported by my stereo at first, but then yesterday, out of the blue, my music app displayed the AirTunes logo and I could see the "CAR_MEDIA" name of my stereo listed there. I tried to select it and it disappeared and I haven't seen it since. Anyone else have this problem or know how to get music to stream through bluetooth?
I got a new (2012) car with BlueTooth. When I initiate pairing, I'm asked for 4-digit code displayed on the car. But before I can enter that code, the formular/screen exits and it says "Unable to connect" on my SGS2. Tried it 10 times with same result. After that it does actually connect (and works) with phone. But the music streaming is not an option. My other car has a Sony stereo which the SGS2 connects just fine to, both phone and music.i guess it's a compatibility issue between ICS BT and my new car's BT. What can I do besides cry at the car-dealer (where he will laugh and tell me to get another phone)?
I am able to send and recieve all kinds of files from/to computer and my phone (Neo V running on ICS 4.0.4), even able to use it as a speaker phone (via bluetooth), but I am unable to get my music files playing on my computer via bluetooth. Btw while configuring my phone on my Laptop (which is running on Win 7) it couldn't install one Bluetooth Peripheral Device driver
ICS update has changed something for the bad on my Droid Bionic!! I can't get music to stream to car radio using the radio controls (2012 Sorento). I had no problems with Gingerbread.......it worked just fine. I tried FDR and got a slight improvement in that the music would stream but I would have to start it with the phone. Tried re-pairing phone and car which didn't work. I have experienced the music stream stopping after 1song or several songs.
iTunes and my 4s, I have a lot if music, I just wanted to ask if it's possible to stream these to my iPhone from my pc anywhere I go for instance going up the road shopping and I don't want to clog my iPhone up with tracks from iTunes. Even if it's a third party app id need to get, I think it would be a neat feature if not, I know irs possible indoors whilst in the same network as my pc but I wanted to see if I could do it from anywheres I go?
Although my iPhone 3GS works fine with the bluetooth handsfree in my 2012 Toyota Kluger it doesn't seem to stream music or transfer contacts, whereas other smartphones will. Am I doing something wrong or is this an iPhone fail?
I have an iPhone 5 and frequently listen to music on it. The problem is, I have an enormous music library in iTunes. I believe it's around 50 GB or so. I've heard bigger, but unfortunately my library is too big to physically reside in my iPhone's storage (which is 64GB). I pay for a 1TB Google Drive subscription. Would it be possible to load these songs on my iPhone 5?
Yesterday, I updated my (European) LG G3 to Lollipop, but since, the bluetooth audio stream in my car (Nissan new Note) drops randomly in songs - it's just a very short drop, but still noticeable. Sometimes it happens several times in one song, sometimes not. I have disabled the experimental NuPlayer in the Developer's options, but to no avail. I have also deleted all bluetooth connections on my phone and in my car, repaired,
I have a V750 and would like to know how to stream live video from the built in video camera to my toughbook 30 which is also equipped with built in bluetooth.
Can the MotoActv stream music from the Android Phone? I was thinking about the device and wanted to know if can just stream music rather than having to load music on the device as that would be easier for me.
I've had this phone for nearly a month, but I've only been able to play the Slacker radio app once. For five minutes. I've tried Pandora and SoundCloud as well, even switched between WiFi and mobile data at home and on my university campus with no luck. I just get a playback error from SoundCloud.
how to play music (mp3) on my Nokia 5800 via bluetooth, so my PC with bluetooth recives music and plays it via speakers. I'd like to do the same in my car which has Bluetooth integrated.
When you play music using bluetooth there is a lag or skipping in music. Like 1 sec. skipping in every 1-3 minutes or sometimes 30secs - up. I think the problem is the android lollipop. I used to connect my z5 in jbl xtreme. my huawei telpad running android kitkat has no problem in playing music using bluetooth. But my z5 and my wife's asus selfie running android lollilop there is a lag or skipping problem.
Well my factory fitted car sterio is playing up and i'm looking at getting a replacement. before getting a N8, having bluetooth for streaming music in-car seemed like a good idea but now I have the ability to stream music via FM, is it worth getting a bluetooth enabled head unit? is the sound quality and different?
I have tried to find this answer but just can't seem to.I have an iPhone 3G and just brought a 2010 Toyota Corolla with the bluetooth feature for making phone calls.
Can I stream the music from the phone through the car speakers so that I do not need to use the Aux port and have a wire going to the phone.
I recently updated to 5.1.1 and my phone will stop playing music through the headphone/AUX jack. Pulling out the cord and plugging it back in reinitiates the music, but it will stop soon afterwards again. The song is still playing (because play icon still up). Thought it was a problem with the cord, but other iPhones (not updated--friends phones) work just fine for long periods with no interruption. I checked out the headphone jack looking for lint or debris and did not find any, so I did a restore.
After restore of phone same problem, random cutting out using the headphone jack. This morning it is doing the same cutting out while playing music with my Bluetooth Bose speaker... so I tested it with my physical stereo system dock, again, music cuts out. (I've tested all my music devices--Bluetooth speaker, physical stereo dock, and car aux jack/cord with other NON-updated iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S with no problems like the one I am having.)

It would be great if in the next iOS would be possible to listen on bluetooth earphone every audio that passes over iPhone, not only phone calls. Now with iOS 5 i can just listen phone calls whit my bluetooth earphonese, but I hope that in the future would be possible to hear, for example, music or apps sounds (like TomTom).
I would like to play my iPhone music to my computer using bluetooth, as I can in my car or to a bluetooth speaker... Is this possible? or, do I need to connect at cable from the phone to the computer. Bluetooth is how I would like to do this because I already have my home stereo connected to my computer using the cable connection.
Info: MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9), 16G RAM
I have a 2010 Toyota Tundra with Navigation system. I can pair my new Iphone 4S to the calling part, but I cannot get my music to go through Bluetooth.
