Apr 4, 2012Upgraded to iOSX 5.1 Previous used it hands free in my Dodge Ram with RES radio with UConnect Bluetooth.Now, will not connect.I think this is an iOSX issue mainly as I notice now when making a call (anytime) where I the audio output speaker or other audio option (iphone or Uconnect) I now only have the option for speaker. I have:Told bluetooth to forget the original device and renamed the phone in the Uconnect memory option.Done a hard reset of the phone itself.Spent plenty of time banging around looking for UConnect upgrades or downloads to no avail.

Jun 24, 2012So I have this photo album on my iphone that won't delete. I can't simply go for e.g:"Photos>Edit" and the red minus circle will come up next to it
And I also can't go into the album and choose to delete all 22 photos one by one as it won't simply let me.
I have had the iphone 4s since october last year, and the album uploaded on there from itunes. Since all the upgrades.. it just sits there.

Mar 12, 2012When restarted my computer and reconnects my iPhone, it now prompts saying that iPhone in recovery mode and I must restore before it can be used with iTunes. I am very sure there's 2 backup copies in my (default designated) computer folder, with one being dated 12Mar (the day of updating). I browsed the computer folder while waiting for the downloads in iTunes.
However the backup folder is now empty!! and I can't restore to any previous backup, and my phone cannot be turn on. The iTunes restore button asked if I wanted to restore to original factory settings. How could this happen?!! My Recycle bin has this item "iPhone3,1_5.0.1_9A405_Restore.ipsw".
How can I retreive my previous phone backup, or just return to iOS5.0.1 with its data prior to the 5.1?

May 28, 2012I was trying to sync my iPhone 3GS when I was prompted to upgrade it. I went ahead and clicked yes to upgrade it. I left the computer and whe I returned about an hour later it asked me to enter my passcode so I did. Then it did its thing for about 30 minutes before telling me there was an unkwown error while upgrading it. During that time the screen on the iphone switched to the image of the usb cord with an arrow poining at the iTunes logo. I restarted my computer and disconnected and reconnected my iphone and now iTunes won't even read it and my iPhone won't do anything other than display that same image of the usb cord and iTunes logo. I'm totally frustrated here. Help! I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, iTunes version 10.6.1.7. I know the cable is fine because it reads my iPhone 4S just fine. I tried restarting and relaunching iTunes and I've also tried holding the power button and home button down for 10 seconds and nothing on the phone's end.

Mar 12, 2012Yesterday I decided to sync my iPhone to a different PC which my husband uses to sync his ipod. Before I sync-ed I upgraded itunes to v10. When I tried to sync however I noticed that the contacts section in the Info tab had nothing in the list (i.e. The title reads "Sync Contacts with " followed by a list but the list is empty) and when I click the Configure button nothing happens. Anyway I checked the option to sync contacts anyway but got an error saying "itunes was unable to load dataclass information from sync services."
Stupidly I then chose to restore my iphone as suggested in the Summary tab and thereby lost all of the contacts on my phone which I of course cannot sync back.

May 17, 2012I upgraded to iTunes 10.6.1 and ios 5.1.1 on my iPhone 3gs and since then I have not been able to sync calendars with my outlook (2007) on my pc.I sync uing the USB cable and not via wi-fi. The sync appears to go through all steps in the process (5 of 5) but does not apply the changes to the iPhone (or to the PC if we try adding one to the iPhone). I have checked the correct default calendar on the iPhone is set as the pc calendar, and have even tried the advanced sync to overwrite all calendar data from PC to phone. But it stil has the original incorrect data on the phone.What else can I do?If I uninstall iTunes, will I lose all my music bought on the iPhone, or can I get this back again?
