I am interested in purchasing the Nexus 6 but need to know if I can arrange the apps in the app drawer alphabetically automatically and keep them sorted that way even when I install new apps.
This will be a deal breaker for me if it can't be done as I can do it on my Note 4.
I would like to know of an app that would let me arrange the icons on my home screen of my iphone 4s to view my background picture better.

Is there any way to arrange the icons? I have installed some new apps and there are some default apps which I use most. The installed apps are go to the end of list. I have to scroll pages 4 times to reach them?

I have an iPhone 4 that I dropped (hard) on a tile floor. Back screen shattered, but phone still worked okay. Now, the wake/sleep button stops working intermittently. Point is, it's my fault, I broke it, and it's out of warranty anyway. I'd like to pay for an express replacement (I understand I can pay $100 or $149 or thereabouts, and Apple will exchange for a refurb; they send, charge me a deposit, then credit back the difference when I ship mine back to them). I can go to the Apple store if necessary, but would prefer to do this online (the instructions for ERS refer to the capability to arrange it online).I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to do this online. I log into the online service advisor, and it only gives me the option of sending my phone in for paid repairsIs there a way to set this up online? (I would prefer online than having to call them
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was able to do this in the Galaxy S4, but now it's gone. Since I did a restore of my previous phone's backup, all apps installed in a random order - and that's how my app list is now sorted.
How can I sort that alphabetically? I can live with manual sort (I've seen people speaking of the "A-Z" button in the app drawer, but I don't have it), automatic would be better.
Sorting apps alphabetical. I have a S6 international and have no option to do that.
View 10 Replies View RelatedWith the recent purchase of my S6 edge I'm new to android and have some quick questions.
First, is there any way to sort the app drawer alphabetically? When I click on edit the only option I get is to disable or uninstall apps.
Secondly, I recently read a tip somewhere that said to reboot into safe mode and then restart to normal. This would improve battery life. Not sure if this is the cause but I did see an improvement after that. Anyway, I also noticed that apps in the app drawer are now scattered across 6 screens with some containing only 1 or 2 icons.
my S6 Edge's phone app's Favorites, it does NOT have an order alphabetically option! For example, say i have 30 Favorites, and it self populated due to that Samsung app called.SmartSwitch or something like that, it transferred via bluetooth from my S5 to my S6 Edge most of the
settings, wallpaper, etc.Well, believe it or not, those 30 favorite contacts are NOT in alphabetical order! There is only an edit function called Re-Order, where YOU must re-order it yourself! So, it's a little like a puzzle, where you'd have to move almost all of your 30 favorite contacts in order to put them in alphabetical order!! that can't be true, right? (i.e. lacking a "put in alphabetical order" option).
how to sort the "Favorites" folder alphabetically? I'm not sure what the default sorting rules are. They don't seem to be organized by date of entry, or by frequency of use.

What's this about? This is particularly infuriating when trying to store and listen to anything that has a narrative order

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been having a blast exploring and customizing my 9700 over the past few days and last night installed a 16GB microsd and began the process of transferring some of my music to the device via the Blackberry Media Sync app on my pc. Transfer went just fine and all files show up on the card, however when I use the Media Player on the device and select by "Album" or "Artist" the tracks are listed alphabetically rather than by track number. It's not a huge deal except when I want to listen to a particular album in track order (The Wall is just made to played that way, isn't it? ). I have looked around for a menu option or something to list by track, but have had no luck. Does anyone here know how to do this? Also, if I connect to my pc via "Mass Storage Mode" and drill down to the album folder in question the track number shows up in the windows explorer folder and all my mp3 files are saved in a "Track Number" - "Songname".mp3 format.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is not the same post as the other "hiding icons." I checked. What I was wondering was; is there a way to hide the 8 icons I have showing at the bottom of my screen, until I touch the screen? The idea is when my phone isn't in use I would like the icons to go away. Sort of like a screen saver. It's a BB Storm 2, 9550.

I have deleted it from the applications list and do not see it in the modules list but the icon still shows.I also have icons that have the "Hide" checked but are not really hidden. The icon looks as though it is transparent.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI don't know if anyone has had this happen before, but after moving some apps around on my phone and then hitting the home button to stop the "jiggling", the apps on my 1st screen, except for the dock, kept jiggling. I even have non-apple apps on the 1st screen and there is no "x" to delete the app. I know restarting my iPhone or even going into the jiggling mode again will probably stop it, but just thought it was interesting.

Some sort of database with SBSettings icons? Ive been using "Modern Simple" I think it is only because if an icon hasn't been made, it just solid red or green and still looks good. However, with a theme like this So, does anyone know where I can find a bunch of SBSettings icons for themes?

View 4 Replies View RelatedDo we know how iPhone OS 4 will handle apps that are lumped into folders and have badge icons (via push notifications or otherwise)?I'm hoping there will be an option for the folder to have its own badge icon that sums all the badge icons in the folder. It would be nice to lump applications that get badge notifications into one folder. This would at least provide some form of notification management until Apple solves the problem. Granted this won't work for applications that use the badge icons for things like temperature.
