Mar 8, 2010Yestrday when i swtchd on my mobile nd i was shockd to see the inner screen cracked !!it niether fell nor hit anywhere hard.. but usualy i cary it in my jeans front pocket..no idea y such a small pressure caused it to crack. the front layer is fine...u wont notice the crack until the mobile is swtchd on..
all other functions r workin absltly fine...excpt fr the screenmy phone is still undr waranty, will this be included in the waranty...if not how much will it cost for rplacing the screen?

Jul 2, 2010I don't know how it happened, but the plastic cover(mounted to camera) which covers the lens & flash has an oblique crack across it.
It's not interfering with picture-taking (and I still have the removable clear plastic cover over the top (the one that comes with new camera).Is it worth repairing ?If so, how would I go about this ?

Mar 9, 2010I won a Nokia 5800 a few months ago from a Pepsi Competition and the phone has been working grand. Earlier on this morning at some point my screen began to malfunction appearing if it has been cracked. The phone was placed in my pocket and during some point after class and walking to halls this happened. The only other thing in my pocket was £1.50 in change (£1.00 and £0.50) and a plastic card key. I have absolutly no Idea how this has happened. I didn't fall, get mugged, get hit by anything, I just walked back to halls. Has this happened to anyone else and will my warranty cover it?Also will I be able to get all the data from it onto my computer?

1. Send to apple, $199 plus $29 for a pre replacement.
2. Buy an old ebay 2g or 3g phone as a backup while mine is fixed then sell it on ebay.
3. Get an early upgrade for $399 and sell my cracked one on ebay.
4. Any other options?

Honestly I've never been so disappointed about a product. When I go to crop a picture, the screen goes black, gets really hot, and then shuts off.
So tonight I go to crop a picture, keeping in mind only some pictures don't crop, and the phone does its thing, shuts off, and.. Cracks.

Jan 21, 2010I cracked my 3G screen last week. It was my first time dropping since buying it on day one. I had it in my lap (which i normally never do) while driving and it fell flat on its face when i was getting out. I've already ordered a replacement glass and digitizer since the phone still works perfectly. My problem is that I can now see dust specks accumulating under the glass. What's the safest way to clean the LCD when I'm taking it apart?

I was told that Apple will give me a replacement phone for much cheaper than a new one. Aug 31, 2014My iPhone 5 screen has been cracked for a few weeks but worked fine. Yesterday the screen went black but Siri still worked. When I plugged it in to charge, it started beeping as if i were constantly unplugging it then plugging it back in. At first the screen would light up even though it was black but now the screen wont light up at all. I ordered a new screen to replace it but now I am thinking that it is more than the screen. I plugged it in to my computer and it doesn't recognize it at all. Use the same cord to plug it back in to the wall and it starts beeping again.

So i ended up purchasing another LCD Display and changed it all out myself, however, my screen has lines going through the screen and it is not responding to my touch, I think that it has something to do with the connecters for the screen because sometimes I might be able to see the wallpaper and then sometimes the screen will be white with the lines going through it.

Jul 3, 2010How many of you have had to have your iphone worked on? I bought the iphone a couple of years ago, and found the technical support here was much better. I was told my an apple sales person tell me that if I lost my iphone, applecare would allow me to buy another one at $199. Since we just signed up for the 2 year contract with ATT, if we lost the phone, it would be full price. I know apple care doesn't cover water damage or cracked screen. Is there a deductible when it is sent it? I did call apple and no one seemed to know the details. I had gotten talked in to buying the Best Buy black tie protection plan, but I just couldn't handle the thought of $14.99 for two years.

Apr 20, 2012I changed my contract from an iPhone 3GS to an iPhone 4 in may 2011. Since then my USB does not work properly and the earphones, well one ear works and the other doesn't. I then went online to check if I could get a replacement for both which I am still not sure that accessories are covered under tha warranty.
