May 8, 2010Is there a limit to the amount of times I can renew my warranty? I've had my phone replaced twice during the year because my mute slider became loose. I already renewed my apple care warranty once and the "genius" told me that I cant do it again.

I have an Iphone4s which reciver speaker stopped working. The phone is only 6 months old and and was bought online from Apple in Malaysia. I live in Sri Lanka and although there are agents here the Express Lane support in the US who I called earlier today say I need to return the phone back to Malaysia to get a new one. Can anyone forward me an email address of apple in Malaysia please. I'm a bit dissapointed that I can't just take it back to the authoirised dealer here.

Half the screen is dimmer than the other side, (I thought I was seeing things, so I put it against my Mom's iPhone 3G, and I was right...) and now there is a dead pixel. This screen is a dud! I'm sorta tired of my monthly visits to the Apple Store...good thing this is all under warranty. Anyone else had this problem that reoccurs? Or the have dimmed problem? I'm bummed out... I can't get to the Apple store for a few weeks. Guess I gotta deal with it...eh? There was some awesome Customer Service people who made my visit a breeze though!

Jul 3, 2010How many of you have had to have your iphone worked on? I bought the iphone a couple of years ago, and found the technical support here was much better. I was told my an apple sales person tell me that if I lost my iphone, applecare would allow me to buy another one at $199. Since we just signed up for the 2 year contract with ATT, if we lost the phone, it would be full price. I know apple care doesn't cover water damage or cracked screen. Is there a deductible when it is sent it? I did call apple and no one seemed to know the details. I had gotten talked in to buying the Best Buy black tie protection plan, but I just couldn't handle the thought of $14.99 for two years.
