last week, my friend dropped my phone without it's case on a tennis court. Now the back is moving. It's weird.. It feels like whenever I touch it, the whole glass plate is going to fall off. There are many scratches on my phone and it has green and red marks all over it from the court because it scratched my phone. This is bad because it's white.I want a new phone, but my warranty ended. While I had my warranty though, I dropped my phone and I took it to the apple store and they gave me a replacement for free.So.. How much is a new white iPhone 4S without a warranty?
I have had my iPhone 3gs 32GB phone for a while, and just recently i have dropped it and now its pretty stuffed.... it is not covered with any warranty as well I was just wondering how much would it cost to get a full iphone replacement 3GS?
so in the beginning of march, my little brother (he's 2) was sick and cranky. i watched a couple of videos on Internet with him, but i had to remove my iphone 4 case (speck) because it kept on interferring with my internet connection (not the first time either!!!). that was probably a bad idea, because when i had tried to take the phone from him when someone was calling, he threw it on the floor. it landed on the back, and now the back glass is shattered. the phone works fine, and my stupid case covers the crack, but i really want to know the cost of getting it replaced in canada. i hear its only 29$, but i want to make sure.
Can any of you help me out please? My insurance is being a PITA; they want me to find them an "advertisement or document that shows what the retail price (of the iPhone 4) would be" so that they can insure it. They want the $599 price tag somewhere.
I dropped my iPhone 4 and the screen shattered. It still technically works, but it's kind of hard to see what I'm doing. I was told that Apple will give me a replacement phone for much cheaper than a new one. This seems too good to be true, as I've had the phone for more than a year and therefore it's past the warrantee expiration.
I have an iPhone 4S that was recently unlocked by AT&T. Unfortunately, it's developed an issue where all the radios cut out if I talk on the phone for more than a few minutes. Assuming I can get this replaced by Apple, would my unlock carry over to the new phone? It was hard enough getting AT&T to unlock this phone, I'm not sure if theyd do it if they can't verify the IMEI was the same one that I purchased.
I'm wondering if I'm paying too much for my phone and at the same time I was wondering what people in other countries paid for their contract if you don't mind sharing.
Country: Canada Provider: Rogers Contract Length: 3 years Cost: ~90$/month (Canadian Dollar) What you Get: 200min./Unlimited Evening after 9 and Weekends/My5 (unlimited calls to 5 people)/Unlimited Texting with Unlimited MMS/6GB of Data/ Visual Voicemail, Caller ID
I'm hoping someone can help me out as ATT's website has me completely confused. As of right now, 2 people in my family have iphones and 3 others are on Sprint. I'm looking to move the 3 from Sprint to ATT in a month when their contract ends. I am trying to figure out a ballpark of what it will cost per month. I am trying to price the cost of 4 iphones + 1 normal phone. What I have come up with is:
450 Minutes for 5 Lines: 39.99 * 5 = 199.95 Unlimited Text for Plan: 20.00 Data for 2 iPhones already on ATT with unlimited data: 30*2 = 60 Data for 2 new iPhones on lowest Data Plan: 15*2 =30 Total: 310, Is this correct or am I missing something?
I met with an accident and broke my Iphone 4 screen but the Iphone works perfectly fine. So i was wondering how much will it cost me to get the screen fixed from Apple.
I just got my iPhone 4s on a contract with the 3 network and the plan includes 5000 texts. I was wondering if it would cost extra to put a photo into an iMessage. If I was to put a photo in, it would be to another Iphone user also in the uk and on the same plan as me.
My family is all on the same AT&T plan and I want to join them (they don't have smartphones though). If I need the 2GB of data and unlimited messaging, how much extra will that tack onto their bill, if the minutes and everything stay the same? I will be paying my portion of the bill, by the way.
i change the screen myself for one from ebay but its not the same, so i need to know if apple can replace me for a new one original, and how mach this is cost?
So I have been traveling a lot, and wherever I've been there's one common thing. it costs an arm and a leg to call back to the US from iPhone, regardless if roaming on AT&T, or using that country's local SIM.I have both Google Voice +, and Skype.GV + is nice for texting, but the nature of it's operation is you dial a number and it dials you back to complete the call, which negates the purpose because then it's still using airtime if roaming on AT&T, and if using a foreign SIM it won't dial out to connect the call to an international.Skype is great because when I'm on a hotel's WiFi or 3G network I can use it to call back to the US to toll-free numbers, however it doesn't allow free calls to standard area-code numbers (like homecell phones. Is there any alternative I'm not seeing? What do people use to accomplish this? I would love to see a company like Vonage or MagicJack come up with an application that would do what I'm looking for, but it seems like there are regulatory hurdles they're facing to accomplish it from what I'm reading online.
I have a water-damaged iPhone 3G S and since Apple switched their policy for liquid-damaged iPhone's, it says I can replace my iPhone for the Out-Of-Warranty price for $199. I did not purchase an AppleCare Protection Plan and was wondering if I am eligible for the Out-Of-Warranty price. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
How many of you have had to have your iphone worked on? I bought the iphone a couple of years ago, and found the technical support here was much better. I was told my an apple sales person tell me that if I lost my iphone, applecare would allow me to buy another one at $199. Since we just signed up for the 2 year contract with ATT, if we lost the phone, it would be full price. I know apple care doesn't cover water damage or cracked screen. Is there a deductible when it is sent it? I did call apple and no one seemed to know the details. I had gotten talked in to buying the Best Buy black tie protection plan, but I just couldn't handle the thought of $14.99 for two years.
I have a jail broken 2g iphone that has severe water damage and I was wondering how willingly is apple of replacing out of warranty phones? How much will it cost? Also the phone is not activated with AT@T and it has visible signs that it was opened.
Our records indicate that your product is not covered under Apple's 1-year limited warranty or AppleCare Protection Plan for hardware repairs and service based on the estimated expiration date. what does this means? anyway my warranty over for 2 years ago can i still buy back the warranty?
I changed my contract from an iPhone 3GS to an iPhone 4 in may 2011. Since then my USB does not work properly and the earphones, well one ear works and the other doesn't. I then went online to check if I could get a replacement for both which I am still not sure that accessories are covered under tha warranty. Then I put my serial number and it said that my phone was out of coverage which doesn't make sense as I got the phone in may 2011 and it's only April 2012.Not a year yet.
Is there a limit to the amount of times I can renew my warranty? I've had my phone replaced twice during the year because my mute slider became loose. I already renewed my apple care warranty once and the "genius" told me that I cant do it again.
