My iphone has music on and i would like to remove it. The music is NOT showing up in the "music" portion of itunes when I am connected. if I sync the music stays if I choose to sync or not.
I am trying to delete the music off my iPhone. I have gone onto my Usage settings and tried to delete them that way, however it says there is no data. I have then plugged it into my PC and again it says no data, however when I go onto my library on the phone itself, it has around 700 songs, all greyed out with either the iCloud symbol or a sign which means they're downloading, however this sign has been there for months now and nothing is yet to download, how do I clear this and start again?!
I have a question regarding the music app on my iPhone 4S. When you slide to the right over a song, you get the option to delete it. If you press delete, does it delete it from your library on your computer or just on the iPhone.
Recently I downloaded an app which caused me to go over my memory allowance on my iphone. Instead of telling me not to download the app, my phone deleted all the music on it. They are still all on itunes on my computer, however when I try to re Auto-fill or sync my phone it refuses to put the music back on the phone because still thinks that all the music is on the phone. This is extrmely frustrating. I have deleted all my photos off the phone (these were taking up the most memory space) in the hope that the music would reappear but it hasnt. how to get my my music back onto my phone?
I can't do anything except play a playlist without the music app freezing and eventually crashing (although it tends to finish the song it's playing first..... at least it's graceful in its crash)Â
Also, none of my playlists are updating with my Match playlists. I've tried turning Match on & off, resetting the phone, force quitting Music, different permutations of the above with various networks on or off.Â
I decided to revamp my MP3 library, so I deleted all the MP3's off my phone and then copied a whole new set onto the card. All seemed to work fine, no errors on transfer, all the MP3's showed up in the appropriate folder on the card, and the few I tested (by playing them on my computer) worked just fine. I then disconnect from the computer, and let the phone "remount" the memory card. The phone gives a message saying "Preparing SD card". Unfortunately, it seems that when it says "preparing", what it really means is "DELETING random MP3's". For some reason, it will only let me keep SOME of the MP3's I copied onto the phone less than half of the number I had on it before I deleted them. I can actually WATCH it delete the files. I go to the music player, and watch as the song count spirals downward, my MP3's fading away into the ether. I've tried copying via HTC Sync, and I've tried by copying straight onto the card via a card-reader slot. The results are the same:
I copy the files onto the card I verify that they are present and working on the card I insert the card in the phone (either physically, or by disconnecting Sync) The phone mounts and "prepares" the card The MP3s I've just added have simply vanished I re-Sync, or check the card via card-reader The MP3's are gone. Not in the file, nowhere on the card.
I have a decent quality (Samsung) 64gb Micro SD Card for my G3. Every time I put all of my music onto it then put it in my phone, it wipes all my music files off straight away. I checked if they were hidden by putting my SD Card back into the computer but they are actually getting deleted. I have tried some basic things (formatting the card, power on and off, etc) but I'm not having much luck.
I have a nokia n8 with a 32GB micro sd, I've managed to put some music on and anything I try and put on now doesn't show up in the libery. Then when I look in the file manager the files arent there and when its connected to my computer the songs aren't there.
I am trying to delete a song off my xbox music library, and every time i try i hit delete, it says loading for a min then closes the app. after that, cannot open the app again, so i reboot and same process all over again. should i soft reset it?
Issue #1: I deleted all of my music on my 5800 and reloaded all new music (about 2 gigs worth), I restarted the phone and then refreshed my library. It added my new music but it did not delete the old music. How can I delete these old files from my library.
Issue #2: Every time I connect my phone in Mass Storage mode and sometimes in PC Suite mode, the Messenger says that it is Unable to Read the memory card and switches my text message saves to the C:, I then have to go back and change my message save location back to E: manually. Is there a way to stop the phone from doing this.
Issue #3: After upgrading my 5800 to v40 my left headphone plays louder than my right. I have tried different headphones and different songs and they all played the same. I am push the plug all the way in. It was working just fine before the upgrade. Is anyone else having this same issue?
These attention to detail issues get annoying when they pop up, Nokia (or Symbian) really needs to fix these issues. Some of these issue carry over from update to update and thats not good business. I would like to stay away from resetting my phone if at all possible...I have done so many resets, I have lost count and quite frankly my phone is setup the way I wont it and do not want to sit and set it up again.
Just got a replacement N5 and I'm using the native email app (as I was on my previous N5), with gmail syncing turned on. The problem is when I delete an email on my phone, it's not deleting it from the Gmail server (it's still there if I check email on my PC). Some setting on the phone or in Gmail on the PC that I'm forgetting about?
When I tell iTunes' iPad or iPhone to install a new app sometimes there isn't room. When I tell it, OK, don't install, I still get the error - there isn't enough room to think it is uninstalled.  The error stays there every time it syncs. I turn off sync music, sync, then turn on sync music - and that takes hours. (and stops when my Mac goes asleep).Â
I figured that was a bug in IOS, but if so, it has been a bug for years.  Right now my phone has 923.9 MB free, and the app that caused this problem says it has 777 MB, so it shouldn't have had that problem this time.I have 2.27 GB of "Other" and 3.39 GB of songs (not nearly the songs I have in iTunes).   My grandchildren were playing a new game on my iPad, and wanted to play a copy on my iPhone as well.
I just got my 4s and I am new to apple products. My iphone resontaly started to delete some of my contacts and keep others. Everyday I readd my contacts and they soon delete again. I dont know if it has something to do with my icloud or itunes or what?
I usually have my whole iPhone (4S) synced on my iMac desktop. I decided to sign into my iTunes account on my MacBook. I bought the movie Alice in Wonderland and it successfully downloaded to the MacBook. I tried to sync my phones info to the MacBook too but everytime I check off the box to sync movies it says "Are you sure you want to sync movies (apps, contacts, ibooks etc)? All existing movies and their data on "First Name Last Name's" libray will be replaced with movies on this library." This is a problem because there is no movies other than Alice in Wonderland on my MacBook's iTunes library. So, how can I get this darn movie onto my iPhone 4S w/o deleting anything current on my iPhone!?
I am trying to delete an iphone app I purchased yesterday. I was able to remove it from my phone temporarily but it keeps coming back every time I sync.
Why is this? Everytime I look at my messages the numbers that I had stored are deleted, for a top phone this iPhone has a number of glitches. I need help on how to fix this problem is their an update available or something for it?
How do I delete photos off my Iphone 4S? When Iphoto is opened, the photos are not there. Just in my phone, and I need more space on my phone to keep taking pictures.
I tried deleting a song from my iphone (4S) according to the user guide. I went to songs and swiped the one I wanted to delete but there was no delete icon. How can I delete this song?
