When I tell iTunes' iPad or iPhone to install a new app sometimes there isn't room. When I tell it, OK, don't install, I still get the error - there isn't enough room to think it is uninstalled.  The error stays there every time it syncs. I turn off sync music, sync, then turn on sync music - and that takes hours. (and stops when my Mac goes asleep).Â
I figured that was a bug in IOS, but if so, it has been a bug for years.  Right now my phone has 923.9 MB free, and the app that caused this problem says it has 777 MB, so it shouldn't have had that problem this time.I have 2.27 GB of "Other" and 3.39 GB of songs (not nearly the songs I have in iTunes).   My grandchildren were playing a new game on my iPad, and wanted to play a copy on my iPhone as well.
Just got a replacement N5 and I'm using the native email app (as I was on my previous N5), with gmail syncing turned on. The problem is when I delete an email on my phone, it's not deleting it from the Gmail server (it's still there if I check email on my PC). Some setting on the phone or in Gmail on the PC that I'm forgetting about?
I just got my 4s and I am new to apple products. My iphone resontaly started to delete some of my contacts and keep others. Everyday I readd my contacts and they soon delete again. I dont know if it has something to do with my icloud or itunes or what?
I usually have my whole iPhone (4S) synced on my iMac desktop. I decided to sign into my iTunes account on my MacBook. I bought the movie Alice in Wonderland and it successfully downloaded to the MacBook. I tried to sync my phones info to the MacBook too but everytime I check off the box to sync movies it says "Are you sure you want to sync movies (apps, contacts, ibooks etc)? All existing movies and their data on "First Name Last Name's" libray will be replaced with movies on this library." This is a problem because there is no movies other than Alice in Wonderland on my MacBook's iTunes library. So, how can I get this darn movie onto my iPhone 4S w/o deleting anything current on my iPhone!?
I am trying to delete an iphone app I purchased yesterday. I was able to remove it from my phone temporarily but it keeps coming back every time I sync.
My iphone has music on and i would like to remove it. The music is NOT showing up in the "music" portion of itunes when I am connected. if I sync the music stays if I choose to sync or not.
Why is this? Everytime I look at my messages the numbers that I had stored are deleted, for a top phone this iPhone has a number of glitches. I need help on how to fix this problem is their an update available or something for it?
How do I delete photos off my Iphone 4S? When Iphoto is opened, the photos are not there. Just in my phone, and I need more space on my phone to keep taking pictures.
I tried deleting a song from my iphone (4S) according to the user guide. I went to songs and swiped the one I wanted to delete but there was no delete icon. How can I delete this song?
I have iphone 4 running ios 7.1.2.Recently i got the usual app update of angry birds:star wars.As the automatic app update was getting downloaded,i deleted the app.It was then when things got weird. After successfully deleting the app, another angry bird icon appeared on my home screen showing the loading blue round circle.
I pressed the loading icon to turn it into "waiting",then pressed and hold the app icon to make it wiggle and clicked on x.That is when the things got weird.I couldn't delete the ghost icon and it is still on my home screen.i took the following steps to make the ghost icon disappear but none of them worked. Â
1.I re-downloaded the app from app store but instead got two app icons on my home screen. The clickable and working app icon and the ghost icon.I deleted the original app again and tried to delete the ghost icon by hold n press icon and clicking on x.But no luck.Â
2.I once again downloaded the original app and tried this method of going to settings-general-usage and waited for apps to populate and clicked on angry birds app and pressed delete app.The original app icon disappeared from home screen but ghost icon is still there.Â
3. Long pressed both home button and sleep button to reset the phone. When phone restarted the bloody icon was still there.Â
4. Signed out of app store and tried deleting the ghost icon but no luck there.Â
I Don't have enough storage to take a picture! I have deleted apps, picture and emails but nothing working ! I bought more storage but still not working ?
My iPhone 4s has been deleting texts but only from one contact. It's been happening since I upgraded it to the iOS 5.1 and I think it's a bug as I'm pretty sure it's not the memory. I just got it replaced a couple days ago and I've been looking up old threads and I think it's been happening to a couple people also. Is there any way I can fix this? It's pretty annoying, every time I go and try to view my old texts they're not there.
I would like to know if there's a way to delete the temporary files automatically created by apps on iOS5.1 without cancelling the whole app, because they occupy a lot of memory on the device.
I have just replaced my old phone with the iPhone 4S and it is great. I am going thorugh the learning curve, and want to be as effcient as I can be as quickly as I can. My first challenge is to try and delete multiple e-mails, rather than doing it one at a time. How can I delete consectutive emails from my in box? I still get junk mail and it would be so much easier to highlight a bunch of them if I could. With my old phone I would click on one of the messages and then start touching the screen below that point and it would include all of the messages in between.
When I delete mail on macbook pro, it's not deleted on iphone. If I delete on iphone it's not deleted on Macbook pro. If I go to www.icloud, it will be deleted on macbook pro, but not iphone. I have service agreement with macbook but not iphone, so I can't talk to apple people without a charge.
On my iPhone, I noticed that the "Other" file in iTunes had grown. I also remember hearing that "Other" was your app data (like Angry Birds high scores), Text messages/iMessages, and so on. I was wondering if it was possible to delete older Messages (any messages older then a month ago) and not the newer ones.
I know I am not using my iPhone correctly, but I am a busy mother and have been stacking up the photos on Camera Roll. I now need to delete some, but want to keep some to show friends.
1) How do you transfer photos from Camera Roll to an album using the phone?
2) When I sync and photos are downloaded from my camera roll I get a pop up asking if I want to keep or delete the photos on my phone. If I choose Delete, will it delete just the photos in Camera Roll, or in the albums too?
3) I have chosen Keep in the past and now have masses of photos on my camera roll. Short of using the curved arrow in the top right and selecting each photo individually, is there a way to delete multiple photos all at once on the phone (not on computer)?
4) Why oh why haven't Apple got a 'protect' button for individual photos so that you can keep a few photos in camera roll and delete the rest, like on a digital camera (yes I KNOW this isn't what Camera Roll is for...)
