IPhone :: Lock Info And Annoying Apple SMS Alert On Lock Screen
Aug 27, 2010I installed LockInfo a while ago. I got everything working fine, downloaded it and plugins fine. I got them all from the same repo as I was advised to do that, and everything seemed to be working fine. Everything was up to date etc.
I received an SMS, and instead of it appearing under the SMS on LockInfo, which it does, it appears as well by the annoying Apple notification box.
I still want my phone to light up when I received a text message and the text message to be displayed under the SMS tab in LockInfo, but how do I get rid of the Apple notification box? I saw when configuring the app there was some thing about quick replying to texts and there was a list to choose form. Would any of those get rid of the Apple alert?

I know Apple in contract with providers, but an example:I get an iPhone from US (as an european person). It locked for one of US providers. I can activate it (if I have original provider's SIM or on CDMA network), but nothing else. So I get an iPod (in good case). To use this device, I must go to US, stay there for many months, make a contract with the provider, and after many waiting, they may unlock it for other fees (or not). Apr 28, 2012A Genius deleted and lost my iphone data right in front of me. I went Willowbend apple store in Carrollton Texas had a problem with my internet, so I scheduled an appointment with the genius bar, they switched me out a new iphone and then before checking if all my data transfered to new phone a "genius" with a new york accent deleted my old phones data . I lost half my photos all my contacts messages from march, notes and who knows what else i'll realize has been lost.

Oct 5, 2011I often switch the feature to have to slide the screen lock to use the phone on or off. It's currently off and I can't find the menu item to turn it on again! Where was it again? I've got a standard Motorola Defy 2.2.By the way - the only reason I'm always switching it around is because when I'm expecting a lot of calls/texts, I turn it on. Because when I get a text and the phone's in my pocket, I often press something when taking it out as getting a text/call unlocks the screen.For the rest of the time - I find it irritating to have to press the power button and then slide the screen - why both? It's not like it's hard to accidentally press the power button on the Defy!In a way - that "in pocket detection" option sounds ideal but I found it kept cutting in when I didn't want it to.Maybe I can do something with that "tasker" app so that when I press the power button, it unlocks the screen.where is that screen lock option again?

I can't find any information on how to get back into that menu.
By the way, yes, I tried the last 4 digits of the phone number, 0000, 9999, 1234.If anyone knows how to get into the service menu on this phone
The only codes I've found so far are:##786# which gets into an info menu but doesn't have the lock code.##33284# which requires a 6-digit security code which I don't know.
BB Storm :: Updated OS And Lost "Lock" Icon?
Jan 7, 2011I just updated to the OS on my Blackberry Storm 2 and I seem to have lost the "lock" icon on my home screen. What the heck!!! Two questions.... does anyone know how to fix this... or does anyone know how I can go back to the last OS version I was using when I still have my "lock" icon. Apr 21, 2012The story so far: I bought an accessory in Nov 2011 at an Apple Retail Store. (Philips dual-dock speaker) It started malfunctioning in Mar 2012. (Dock not charging anymore) I brought it to an Apple Store (closer to my place), they were happy to replace it on the spot, except that there was none in stock. So I was advised to go to an other Store (the original one), where they had stock. So far, so good for service. I went to the other store, but there I was told that they could not replace it because I had bought it more than 14 days before, so I had to contact the manufacturer directly! So my questions are:
- What is, if any, the actual policy on non-Apple product repair & replacement?
- Why don't all store follow the same policy?
- Should I just try my luck again with another person, until I strike gold and get it replaced?

Jul 25, 2010I made a purchase for a black bumper and paid $31.60 but when I go to the Apple.com website to check the status of my refund its shows "There is no record of a refund for the receipt number you entered." I tried entering my receipt number plus last 4 of card and I also tried just entering the full CC number as well and get that response for both.
Just wanting to know if anyone has possibly experienced before, wanted to to see if any Macforum members have had this issue and what was the resolution to your issue? Should I just call Apple? Are they giving refunds in store if you take in your receipt?
