Apr 27, 2012I have an iphone 4 running IOS5.1. Sometimes a few times per day my phone goes to no service in a high signal area (tested with a other phone on the same network) Turning on airplane mode and off sometimes restored service.If that fails sometimes a reset network setting can restores service. But sometimes as the reset reboots the phone it then needs activated again! And it will not activate via Itunes or wi-fI. Also after a few reboots and telling the phone its getting replaced with a HTC is starts working again! I have also done a number of restores and total clear outs via itunes.

Nov 4, 2011I don't know if this is the right please to post this question. Sorry for the inconvenience.Yesterday my BlackBerry Storm 2 9550 was stolen. I called to my service provider and reported the incident. The IMEI and PIN was linked to my phone line / account. At this time service is suspended.
However, I have a question: Can the BlackBerry be activated with another service provider? Is it useless after i reported? Can I try to contact RIM and lock IMEI and PIN for any kind of future use? I have all that information.

Jun 22, 2010I have missed the 24th preorder date and I was wondering if by any chance even 1 in million manage to get on hold of a payg iphone 4 (uk) from a carrier like orange, 3 etc. Is there a difference having an officially unlocked iphone from apple vs an ultrasn0w etc. unlock device?? (other than any ethical/moral issues ). Any specific stuff that I will not be able to perform with such an unlock?, any downsides like slowdowns (if it’s a 24/7 background running service etc) ?
I know that O2 official unlock iphones for $15, but I haven’t found any certain info on the other carriers. (note: the phone will not be used to UK at all, so some proposed actions from carriers like: “use the phone for 3 months with the carrier and then ask for an unlock” will not work in my case.)

I went Willowbend apple store in Carrollton Texas had a problem with my internet, so I scheduled an appointment with the genius bar, they switched me out a new iphone and then before checking if all my data transfered to new phone a "genius" with a new york accent deleted my old phones data . I lost half my photos all my contacts messages from march, notes and who knows what else i'll realize has been lost.

Jun 20, 2010An Apple customer service representative just informed me that today, they were informed that there is a limit of only one iPhone for online order per account, no matter what the eligibility of your various AT&T lines are. I ordered each of my iP4's separately, although they're under the same family plan. He said, "It wasn't announced and we, or at least I, was just informed about this today, but you can only order 1 iPhone online. We've actually had a lot of people calling about order cancellations." I specifically asked him why this was the case if multiple numbers on a family plan are eligible for an upgrade, but he was unable to answer. He stated that we would have to purchase our second iPhone 4 in store and that everyone who ordered more than one iPhone will have all but one of their orders cancelled.I've ordered 2 iP4's. One has been shipped, and the other has, "Not yet Shipped." The rep looked up my order for the phone that hasn't been shipped yet and said that there is a hold on it because we're only allowed to order one iPhone 4 online. So, if what this rep said is true, how can so many people claim that both of their orders have been shipped?
