Just bought the iphone4. Set up my verizon email account.
However none of my old emails are loading into my inbox or sent folders.
I am only getting in new emails. Ive deleted the account and reset it up. Rebooted the phone. To no avail.
I type in my username and my password, My Iphone scans for a minute and tells me that my username or password is incorrect...

When I set up my DroidX, I set up my e-mail account using my Verizon.net email account. I would like to remove this account, but can't find how to do this under the e-mail app settings, nor does the Verizon account show up under Accounts

I'm having a problem with the Exchange account on my iPhone 4S (iOS 5.1). Gmail and Hotmail both work fine, but Exchange frequently freezes and will not update at all. Usually restarting the phone fixes the problem, but not this time. I've restarted 3 times to no avail - the account hasn't updated in 15 hours.

I have spoken to both Sprint and BB tech support, and all three of my email accounts still do not reconcile.Reading or deleting mail via internet does not reflect on handheld.New mail comes into handheld but messages will not show messages being read or deleted unless the action is performed on handheld.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOk so I bought an env2 off a guy on craigslist. I dropped my old one in a puddle but I really loved my env 2 so I bought a used one from someone on craigslist. When I went to activate it I discovered it was on revol's network, I dont live in the city hence I can get coverage on revol. Still says verizon all over it when you turn it on and off. I am not very savvy with cell phones but I am with a computer. I took it to the verizon store and they tried to put new firmware on it but it didnt work. I have a tough time beleiving that it can go from verizons network to revols but not back, if anyone has a way that I can flash the phone back to verizon.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis is for my father-in-law's phone. He has just basic service, so no text or data plan. Bitpim doesn't appear to support it and I cannot find a USB driver for it. The phone does not currently have Kies installed (I don't even know if it is supported on this phone). And he can't install new applications because he has no data plan. Is he pretty much out of luck or is there some alternate way of doing this that I haven't discovered yet?

Okay, I have been unable to get mail on my Blackberry Curve 9330 for some time. I have this phone under Verizon. quite awhile back during one of the updates not the last the one I did today or the last one but probably the one before it I'm assuming one of my email setups didn't directly download right causing it to screw up. It has nothing to do with resets on my phone I have tried numerous times resetting it and it doesn't work. Everytime I go into email setup, I go to Setup>Email Accounts>Internet Mail Account and then either it just freezes at the screen, or just goes back to the "Select the feature you want to set up screen" everytime. I have tried going into Service Books to try to send service books but it doesn't give me the option... I am unable to get into my Blackberry Internet Service account because I cannot remember my password - and I have done password restore or whatever and it said it has sent to my phone

View 2 Replies View RelatedNew S6 ... email app keeps hanging and won't load up new messages unless I (i) go to smart manager and "clean all" ... that works most times; or (ii) use the "close all apps" feature ... that always works ... when I do one of those two things and reopen the email app, the new messages are visible and can be opened.
Other hang ups include inability to open email messages in the inbox ... and sometimes the entire inbox screen just goes blank.
interestingly, I still always get notifications when new messages come in ... so does not appear to be a sync issue.
As soon as I have registered my Blackberry on the BES server an acknowledgement is sent to the user . The in coming and out going mails are saved after the activation mail.The previous mails and meeting invitations does not sync to the device.

When I do this, it simply says "Downloading" but never manages to actually download the rest of the content. I have mysteriously lost connectivity with verizon's 3G data network. Any apps that require internet connection won't load, emails aren't coming through, can't connect to itunes or app store, send texts, etc. If I connect to wifi everything works fine. Voice calls are fine. I did a hard re-boot on the phone. Everything is up to date. Running OS 5.1

I have an iPhone 4S, running ios 5.1 and on the Verizon Wireless (US) network. I recently bought a TruPhone international sim card for use overseas as Verizon's global roaming rates are criminal. I met all the requiremnts to have VZW unlock the phone and contacted them. They tried of course to scam me into activating their ripoff international sim but eventualy agreed to unlock the sim card as they are required by US to do. The problem is they told me that all they really do is send a request to Apple who then unlocks the phone through iTunes. I followed their directions and synced the phone through iTunes but it hasn't unlocked. I contacted VZW and they said there's nothing else they can do. They show my account as having been unlocked and blamed Apple. truPhone confirmed that they are having troube with VZW Apple products as far as getting them unlocked.
