Jan 25, 2010I ran over my Blackberry Tour, rendering the screen unusable.
I can access the device from Desktop Manager, and I can run exe.Autoloader/factoryreset from the Windows command prompt.
However, this does not remove the Verizon phone number from the device. Verizon won't work with the phone because the screen is cracked.
What's the correct way to wipe the Verizon data from the command prompt?

HTC One M7 :: Mobile Data Off / Verizon App Works
Jan 22, 2014I have a Verizon HTC One. When I turned off my Mobile Data and WiFi, and then I run My Verizon app, the 4G LTE symbol pops up on the top of the screen and My Verizon app gives my access to my account. I can check minutes, data, pay bills and every thing. When I leave the app, the 4G LTE icon disappears in about a minute, sometimes it stays longer (even hours) but goes away eventually (and the Mobile Data is off the whole time, btw)
I always thought when the data is off, you cannot have access to the network including your Verizon account. Is HTC One making an exception for My Verizon app?

Jun 28, 2014I need to factory reset my wife's Iphone 5. I followed the instructions that suggested I sync via Itunes. In the process of doing so the sync acted funny during the sync. So I repeated the process. Now my wife's phone has pictures back on it that she had uploaded to you Macbook Pro to create space on her phone. It also downloaded back to the phone all the categories she created on her Macbook Pro for her pictures.
Before I factory reset her phone I need to be confident I backed up her data correctly. Especially her contacts and most importantly her pictures.

Jun 5, 2010Ok so I bought an env2 off a guy on craigslist. I dropped my old one in a puddle but I really loved my env 2 so I bought a used one from someone on craigslist. When I went to activate it I discovered it was on revol's network, I dont live in the city hence I can get coverage on revol. Still says verizon all over it when you turn it on and off. I am not very savvy with cell phones but I am with a computer. I took it to the verizon store and they tried to put new firmware on it but it didnt work. I have a tough time beleiving that it can go from verizons network to revols but not back, if anyone has a way that I can flash the phone back to verizon.

Dec 3, 2014the phone's wifi/data (situation happens with both) will stop working. I'll eventually realize that none of my messages in iMessage are going through or that instagram has not updated its feed in over an hour. I'll restart the phone and everything will work for another 30 minutes or so before everything stops working again.Â

Nov 16, 2012This is for my father-in-law's phone. He has just basic service, so no text or data plan. Bitpim doesn't appear to support it and I cannot find a USB driver for it. The phone does not currently have Kies installed (I don't even know if it is supported on this phone). And he can't install new applications because he has no data plan. Is he pretty much out of luck or is there some alternate way of doing this that I haven't discovered yet?

May 27, 2012I reset my cellular data usage every month at the beginning of my billing period so that I can keep track of how much data I am using thru out the month. I do not have the unlimited data plan and have gone over a few times. It's usually the last couple days of my billing cycle and I am charged $10 for an extra gig which I barely use 10% of before my usage is restarted for new billing cycle. FYI, they do not carry the remainder of the unused gig that you purchase for $10 which I disagree with. But have accepted. Lol Moving on.
I have two questions. One possibly being answered by the other. 1. Is cellular data used when I sync to iTunes on my home computer to load songs onto my iPhone from my iTunes library(songs that already exist)? 2. What causes the cellular data usage readings in iPhone settings/general/usage/cellular usage to decrease if my last reset has not changed? It is close to end of my billing cycle and I have been keeping close eye. Earlier today it read around 180mb sent/1.2gb received. Now it reads 90mb sent/980 mb recieved. My last reset date reads the same as before. I don't know if my sync and music management had anything to do with the decrease but i didn't notice the decrease until after I had connected to iTunes and loaded music. I should also mention that a 700mb app automatically loaded itself to my phone during the sync process. Is cellular data used at all during any kind of sync /iPhone/iTunes management? Is the cellular data usage reading under iPhone settings a reliable source to keep track of monthly data usage?

What was done so far:
- factory reset three more times
- software update
- repair phone using Sony PC Companion
- checked with another sim card (another operator) - still no service
- trying to switch on/off airplane mode in every menu location available
- After trying to manually find service provider, phone goes to search mode and stays in it not finding any

After switching on the phone or switching off the airplane mode the phone seems to need more time than before (around 1 min) to find the SIM cards. After the sim card is found stays without network.

Nov 12, 2010My X10i battery is showing some weird problems, so before trying a new battery, i am wanting to reset the phone through SEUS.But here is another problem - due to some problem at the charging port in phone, my phone can only charge through charger via electric outlet, and no charging or data transfer possible any longer through the data cable via computer or laptop [this is confirmed by SE customer care; as per them, entire motherborad of the phone need to be changed to correct the problem, which is a very costly affair (a little over half of the current phone price) so i am avoiding that]. is there any other way to reset/update my phone - like through memory card or OTA - so that i can try to cross- check the battery problem? If yes, then how? Secondly, under these circumstances will i be able to upgrade the phone as an Android 2.3 upgrade is due on August?
