I'll eventually realize that none of my messages in iMessage are going through or that instagram has not updated its feed in over an hour. I think it usually happens after I've been in an area with low/no signal for a while. Everything was fine at first but recently i would say within the past month i've been dropping calls and having problems with the data services. I'll be streaming slacker radio and all of a sudden it stops and i have to reboot to get it working again. The dropped calls thing is pretty much random. Im running 5.0.0.405.
Anyone else having this problem? I mean the whole surfing while talking thing is nice but if this keeps up im going to have to just bite the bullet pay the early term fee and switch back!
Getting pretty frustrated with the WiFi lately. I don't know what happens, but sometimes when I come to use my phone, I find the WiFi connection not working. The WiFi status icon shows it's receiving and not sending data, which is weird. I turn WiFi on and off, I "forget" my WiFi details and register them and again, but still not working. The only soluton I found wokring so far, is to restart my phone.

What makes this happen? I have the "Keep WiFi On During Sleep" off, though I'm not sure if that's the case. And yes, the problem started happening after the Lollipop update.
I recently purchased a blackberry 8320 from a friend it was giving some problems like: Cant setup own email account, bis moves slow, msn gives and error.So i decided to do a handheld wipe then after the wipe finished i did a battery pull and then i stop reciving service books like the phone was locked down or something. What happens is, for whatever reason WIFI just randomly stops working. It'll show she is connected(both in the Icon at the top where you swipe and under settings/wifi) yet it doesn't actually load anything.
She'll be searching on Bing, Facebook, etc etc and she'll get the loading dots at the top of her screen that'll run endlessly. I have to then go into her settings and turn off wifi and then back on and it'll start working but then eventually it does it again shortly where there is no data or whatever.
Xperia Neo V. The Wifi function suddenly shut down tonight after I activated the 'Auto Synchronize' function in the settings. It appears that everytime after I try to turn the Wifi on, the screen is not responding and there isn't any wireless signals it can search (while there's actually several wifi signals), it's like the phone is dead, and I had to wait for like 10 seconds before the it started to respond. I tried to turn the phone off and restart it, but it didn't work. Other functions works well, only that I can't connect to internet since the wifi is not working.

View 8 Replies View RelatedAround 7:20 every morning, my iPhone just stops loading data. I'm able to receive & send data up to about that time. Then it just dies & doesn't do anything...no texts, emails, in game data, nothing. I have full bars & the 4G icon displays when this happens. It will usually take 2 reboots of the phone to get it to work again.
This has been going on for quite a while & frankly I'm getting sick of it. It seems to have started ever since I upgraded to the new stinkin' iOS version 5.1.1.
It's frustrating to have the phone simply stop transferring data for no apparent reason. And it definitely shouldn't take 2 reboots of the phone on a daily basis to get it to work again.

I am pretty sure that after my up grade to 5.1, my volume + button stopped working. I think this is a software problem, because I can temporarily fix the issue by re-setting the network settings. However the fix is short lived, because as soon as I connect to a wifi network, the volume + button stops working again.

I have an iPhone 3gs 16gig and the I broke the screen, the digitizer worked for a while so I just kept using it with the cracks on it. after the digitizer stopped working I did a full backup and went in to a local shop and had the screen and digitizer replaced. I then came home and did a restore and that gave me ios5.1. The phone worked great for a day then the touch screen started to stop working after about 10-30 seconds of use. I cant do anything with the phone without having to lock the screen and unlock it (sometimes that works, and sometimes I have to do that a few times because the touch screen doesn't work to unlock the phone) to continue using my phone.I am thinking it is because I upgraded to ios5.1, or is it a bad digitizer?

(c) The only way to completely ensure that your iPhone will not revert to a cellular data connection is to turn it completely off. You (obviously) will not be able to receive calls, however.

I emailed Otterbox and the guy said to clean the plastic window. Really?? you dont think I tried that before sending the email? I am going to try my brothers case to see if its the case. My brother told me that he had the proximity sensor issue before the case and now his works fine. My last step is to reload 4.0.1 but I have to figure out how to get a video off the phone first.

1. Is there such a thing as autoconnect to familier networks?Meaning If i connect once to wifi network, will it always connect to it, even if encrypted?
2.IF answer to (1) is yes: If I'm about to enter an area with a Wifi network that my Nokia 701 automatically connects to, will it connect to it and stop using 3G? Meaning, does it use only Wifi, and not 3G, when connected to Wifi?
3. Is there an option to make wifi automatically connect to an UNLOCKED wifi network? Meaning I'm entering my office with my phone for a first time, wifi on - will it automatically connect to the open network in the office?
This is a combination issue. I noticed with my Lumia 920, that if it had a weak/poor WiFi signal, it would still try to use that, and apps would report a bad internet connection, even when the LTE signal was great.This same thing seems to happen with my 950. Here at work, we have no WiFi. There are some nearby, but weak. If the phone latches on to one of them Pandora will report the internet connection is bad.
So, while at work I turn off WiFi. Problem solved, right? Wrong... WiFi turns itself back on from time to time.Why can't it fallback to my LTE when WiFi is bad? Why does it turn WiFi back on on it's own? Should I report this to the Insider program?
All three people in my family have a 8520, this morning all 3 devices were not picking up the wi fi in the house, I know the wi fi is working as 2 laptops and an ipod are working fine.
