Mar 14, 2012I have reset the phone and the internet will work but then will stop after a time period. I upgraded to 5.1 last week and the issues seemed to have started then.

LG :: Free Internet For Verizon
Jan 22, 2010My cell phone is a prepay LG chocolate (1). And even if I don't have minutes I can access the internet and when I do have minutes it's not charged to my cell phone. I know the Verizon LG ENV(1) has it as well. Access "my account" via mobile internet. It shows your account balance and your feature options, prepay options, ECT. and select "menu" and "search" there is your free internet.
Oh, and I know how to turn ANY contracted, even if severely in debted cell service into a prepay *22888 and follow their directions. If anyone could help me with my service menu on the LG chocolate and teach me neat tricks and tips.
BB Curve :: Connectivity For Verizon Internet?
Mar 30, 2012I'm looking for a cable that will support internet connectivity through my Blackberry. I have the service from Verizon but my only option is a USB to micro USB cable. Honestly I'd LIKE to connect my iPad and so I bought the Griffin Charge and Sync cable but now I need a micro USB to USB converter (or a micro USB to micro USB cable). A lot of the cables and converters I'm seeing only work on specific phones or tablets (like Sony or Samsung) and Blackberry is never mentioned.

Aug 10, 2010I recently flashed my Env3 (VX9200) from verizon to cricket. I got the phone activated, calling and receiving texts works, but I can't send texts. The phone stalls on the "Sending..." screen and cites GENERAL PROBLEMS as the reason the text failed.Is there a setting I missed while flashing that exclusively hits text sending? Does anyone have any experience with this?

Apr 3, 2011I'm using a Verizon BlackBerry Bold 9650 unlocked in India since the past 5-6 months working fine but since the past 12 days I am not been able to receive any blackberry data services. My e-mails, BBM, Internet nothing seems to work but I am able to use text messaging and make voice calls like any other phone. I have tried every and all methods to make it work, I have replaced my Sim-card twice and even reinstalled and updated my phone software three times. Vodafone(India) is my current service provider and they have all services active on my number but my phone doesn't seem to receive any. My sim card is working fine with other phones but no sim card works in mine.

Oct 19, 2010For some reason the track pad on my Curve 8530 with verizon stopped working yesterday. I can move it up and down and side to side on the home screen, but if I try to open an application like facebook, bbm or even sound profiles, it will not move up and down. When I try to get to the main menu to do a hard reset of the phone, the trackpad will not move at all. I can go up & down, left and right in messages and e-mail applications that is on my home screen, but when I try to access those applications in the main menu it won't respond. I've tried battery pulls and entering safe mode with no results. I tried cleaning it with a business card. I took it to verizon who said they didn't know what to do. PLEASE HELP! I got this phone a month ago from a friend in perfect condition as a replacement and can't afford to get another one!

Jun 5, 2010Ok so I bought an env2 off a guy on craigslist. I dropped my old one in a puddle but I really loved my env 2 so I bought a used one from someone on craigslist. When I went to activate it I discovered it was on revol's network, I dont live in the city hence I can get coverage on revol. Still says verizon all over it when you turn it on and off. I am not very savvy with cell phones but I am with a computer. I took it to the verizon store and they tried to put new firmware on it but it didnt work. I have a tough time beleiving that it can go from verizons network to revols but not back, if anyone has a way that I can flash the phone back to verizon.

Nov 16, 2012This is for my father-in-law's phone. He has just basic service, so no text or data plan. Bitpim doesn't appear to support it and I cannot find a USB driver for it. The phone does not currently have Kies installed (I don't even know if it is supported on this phone). And he can't install new applications because he has no data plan. Is he pretty much out of luck or is there some alternate way of doing this that I haven't discovered yet?

Jun 27, 2010I also had this problem since I upgraded my 3GS on Thursday. I did a full restore from a backup, and my internet still wasn't working. Like others, my WiFi was working though. From information I gleaned, it's either corrupt APN settings, or I think in my case (I checked and my APN settings were blank), that updating it just deleted them altogether.
On your phone tap Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network.
If it's all blank like mine, you need to find out your carriers APN settings and input them. Restart the phone, and it should work.

I can get it up and running for a short period if I reboot the phone. I have checked that BIS is connected. Roaming data services are on. I have cleared the cache, cookies, and history from the browser. I recently upgraded the blackberry messenger service and these problems seem to have started at about the same time.
