I recently flashed my Env3 (VX9200) from verizon to cricket. I got the phone activated, calling and receiving texts works, but I can't send texts. The phone stalls on the "Sending..." screen and cites GENERAL PROBLEMS as the reason the text failed.Is there a setting I missed while flashing that exclusively hits text sending? Does anyone have any experience with this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Verizon LG enV3. It came with a usb data cable and my XP Pro 64bit PC does not want to recognize it. I think I need the lg-vx9200 drivers, but am unable to find them.So I pose a few questions.
1. Is the cable that came with the phone able to be used with bitpim & for charging?
2. Where can I find the drivers for the usb cable?
3. Will bitpim, and the cable drivers work with my XP pro 64 bit?
I have read stuff where people are doing this right now, and other posts saying it is impossible. I want the truth! I am ready to switch to Cricket anyways because I'm tired of paying $90 month for verizon when I can get the same stuff from Cricket for half, but I'm dreading both buying a Cricket phone and losing my Omnia (i900). I asked at the retail store if I got it unlocked could I use it since both are CDMA carriers and the guy didn't seem too informed. Also, another store rep told me that some markets were able to do that but my market (DC/Northern VA) would not support a verizon flashed phone. So what's the truth? If I get it unlocked can I get it to work on Cricket?

So when I got home I started researching how to flash myself. So went threw allot was already set up since it was pre flashed. I went ahead and opened the web but I do not have web access since I do not pay for it, I have a Iphone for that. But even though I re flashed using prl 01039 I can still not send out text. Can receive I can make calls receive calls just not send out text.

The bowling speed has reduced too much(you can understand only if you have installed this game and play it). Besides I have the hd version of this game in sis format. Even this does not work properly. The app just exits itself when I select bowling.

I'm using a Verizon BlackBerry Bold 9650 unlocked in India since the past 5-6 months working fine but since the past 12 days I am not been able to receive any blackberry data services. My e-mails, BBM, Internet nothing seems to work but I am able to use text messaging and make voice calls like any other phone. I have tried every and all methods to make it work, I have replaced my Sim-card twice and even reinstalled and updated my phone software three times. Vodafone(India) is my current service provider and they have all services active on my number but my phone doesn't seem to receive any. My sim card is working fine with other phones but no sim card works in mine.
View 8 Replies View RelatedFor some reason the track pad on my Curve 8530 with verizon stopped working yesterday. I can move it up and down and side to side on the home screen, but if I try to open an application like facebook, bbm or even sound profiles, it will not move up and down. When I try to get to the main menu to do a hard reset of the phone, the trackpad will not move at all. I can go up & down, left and right in messages and e-mail applications that is on my home screen, but when I try to access those applications in the main menu it won't respond. I've tried battery pulls and entering safe mode with no results. I tried cleaning it with a business card. I took it to verizon who said they didn't know what to do. PLEASE HELP! I got this phone a month ago from a friend in perfect condition as a replacement and can't afford to get another one!
View 6 Replies View RelatedOk so I bought an env2 off a guy on craigslist. I dropped my old one in a puddle but I really loved my env 2 so I bought a used one from someone on craigslist. When I went to activate it I discovered it was on revol's network, I dont live in the city hence I can get coverage on revol. Still says verizon all over it when you turn it on and off. I am not very savvy with cell phones but I am with a computer. I took it to the verizon store and they tried to put new firmware on it but it didnt work. I have a tough time beleiving that it can go from verizons network to revols but not back, if anyone has a way that I can flash the phone back to verizon.

View 6 Replies View RelatedThis is for my father-in-law's phone. He has just basic service, so no text or data plan. Bitpim doesn't appear to support it and I cannot find a USB driver for it. The phone does not currently have Kies installed (I don't even know if it is supported on this phone). And he can't install new applications because he has no data plan. Is he pretty much out of luck or is there some alternate way of doing this that I haven't discovered yet?

The phone has recently been replaced so I am guessing it is either a battery or the charger. Is there an easy fix for this or should I just get a new battery and charger?

It seems like the Touch is a better phone, but large for carrying in a pocket. I've read on forums, that is has a terrible battery life. The LG Env3 has a great batter life, and I like the number dialing pad. Supposedly both phones have bugs in them, that haven't been resolved.

My hunch is that there's a limited amount of space and I had too many notes but I don't know. I don't even know if there's a way to measure the space my notes take up (without counting characters!)I LOVE this feature on my phone and won't trust the new one until I figure out a little more about what happened.

It only says "Original Slide" under Attachment. A friend of mine has the same phone, and his allows this. I called Verizon tech support, and he wasn't sure about that function, but thinks that I might have a newer version. My buddy's phone has SW version VX920V05, mine is VX920V06. If this is the problem, is there a way I can upload the older version? The tech guy says no, but I know there are always ways around things on phones. If not, does anyone know if the Alias2 does this? It's still within 30 days if I wish to exchange.

View 2 Replies View RelatedUpdated my env3 last night to VX920V06 as well as my fiance's and now our ringtones are listed backwards. Instead of going from A to Z they go Z to A. Not a huge deal but just annoying when you are so used to it the other way.Oh and I should add this happened after I added a ringtone using bitpim. So maybe it is a bitpim related issue not the update. Or a little of both.

And if you are texting 2 or more people at the same time and they send you a text in the middle of what you are typing it automatically sends what you are texting to the drafts folder. I did my first text over 160 characters and I received a text from Verizon saying I went over my character limit. It didn't send it in two texts and it also didn't tell me where it cut off. I had to get on my computer, Open a character counter, Retype the text to see where the 160 mark was. Is there an easier way to do this? Can I send the text in two pieces instead of retyping half the text?
View 9 Replies View RelatedDH and I just got new LG Env3 phones through Verizon.Say what you want, we both like our new phones and are pleased with many of their features.We both do indeed like the notepad except that we rapidly ran out of memory and were unable to find a setting that would store our notepad texts to our microSD cards. I have been searching for 3rd party list, text or notepad applications.I'm not adverse to paying for an application that would be used.Unfortunately, my limited knowledge has me wondering if the available applications would work. We'd also like to be able to save our notes onto our computers.The program I like the most is Listpro http://www.iliumsoft.com/site/lp/listpro.php but again with my limited knowledge, I'm not really sure it would work on our phones. Our pc's are Windows XP and Home Vista (looking forward to our next purchase which will be Windows 7). Any advice you offer would be appreciated.Is Listpro comptible with our phones and computers? Is there another similar program that would be? Free can be good, but I am willing to pay.
