IPhone :: Why Are There No Cases Around?
Jun 24, 2010Is it me or are there no cases out yet for the iP4? I know wants us to believe we don't need one and it's indestructible, plus they want us to by their bumper, aka a $30 rubber band, but I want a case. I am going to very careful with it for now, but I am a bit nervous. I can toss my 3G, w/ Incase slider, on my desk or table, even drop it and I have no worries. I just hope cases hit the market soon. I have not gone into any stores yet to look, so if anyone knows anything please let me know. I looked online and it's slim pickins. Post pics and reviews of your iP4 cases.

Feb 23, 2010My wife and I just purchased 2 3G Iphones. We want to protect them ASAP. We want to buy cases that will help protect the phone from being dropped. Also we want them to be somewhat slim and not bulky. I would think a silicon case would be better than a hard case in shock absorption but please correct me if I am wrong. My wife keeps her phone in her purse while I usually have it in my pocket. Are budget for both is $50 shipped. Do hard cases help absorb shock when you drop your phone? Also what is a good online retailer for Iphone cases? Here are the options I am thinking about. I am open to any other suggestions. Amazon has these all in stock.
Switcheasy Capsule Rebel: I like the idea but I don't know if I like the look.
Switcheasy Capsule Neo: Looks better than Rebel but reviews are not as good.
Iskin Solo: What my wife is looking for but may be too glossy.
Shield polycarbonate slim fit case: Cheap on amazon but don't hear too much about this case
Incipio Feather: Looks awesome and slim but would it protect the phone when dropped??
Speck Candyshell: Looks very nice but rubber corners and bottom tend to break or rip.
Seidio Flexarmour: Ok looks. Don't hear much about them.
Seidio innocase: Looks nice but will it protect iphone if dropped??
Otterbox Impact: Cheap, good reviews, and looks like it will protect. It looks too bulky and not the most attractive case either,

Jul 1, 2010So I got my iphone today. I didn't expect it to come this quickly as I just ordered on Tuesday from ATT so my case and screen protector has not come yet. For those who do not have their stuff ready or go case-less how do you take care of your phone? I'm so paranoid about how I touch my phone. Just wondering.

I checked zagg.com and they already have a full body protection for the iPhone 4 but it looks like it doesn't cover the metal ring around it. Would like to protect it as soon as I received it. Or does anyone know if ATT or the Apple store will have them stocked with a case and screen protectors?

Jul 27, 2010Any opinions on Vaja cases? I use a holster for ease of access, but thinking about getting either the Vaja iVolution Top or Grip for a change of pace. Read good things about Vaja cases in regards to quality. Looking for feedback on functionality. Long 45 day order time though. Not sure that I dig the flap, which could get rather annoying, so leaning towards the Grip. Top is in the first photo and Grip is in the second two.

BB Bold 9700 :: Cant Receive Any Kind Of MMS
Feb 18, 2010Ive had my 9700 since December...never had a problem until a week or so ago. I am suddenly not able to receive any type of MMS. My phone receives the message but when I open it all I see is a small red X near the top of the screen, and if theres text in the message, I also get a message "Text attachment missing or invalid" right below the red X. However, if I forward the message to myself, it works and I can then see the pic and/or text that was sent.I am on ATT, OS 5.0.0.405 (from the factory), and have an unlimited message/data plan.
I can SEND MMS just fine. Something I noticed is that when I go into my message folder, theres an icon of an envelope with a small arrow pointing to the right of the message (see pics below). Also, my friend said she tried to send me a couple of MMS pics last week, but after a few minutes, a red X showed up next to her sent messages instead of a check mark (which indicates message sent successfully). I never received those messages. I also had her try resending the pic several times, and even had her try to take and send new pics, and also had her try to send older pics that have been on her phone for a while to see if the pic she was sending me was somehow corrupt and if it was just new pics that had the problem or old pics. Pics I received fine months ago are not coming through now. Everyone else she sends the pics to gets them just fine. She is sending from a Curve 8310.Ive tried a battery pull, SIM card pull, have had service books resent, and have run a diagnostic test from options > mobile network > menu > diagnostics test > menu > run. It all seems fine.
