It would be great if in the next iOS would be possible to listen on bluetooth earphone every audio that passes over iPhone, not only phone calls. Now with iOS 5 i can just listen phone calls whit my bluetooth earphonese, but I hope that in the future would be possible to hear, for example, music or apps sounds (like TomTom).

For some strange reason, when I listened to a podcast using the Music app through the Apple earphones with remote on my iPhone 4, the right side has no sound. However, when I pull the earphone plug out one notch, I get sound from both sides, but the remote controls no longer work. At that point, I was sure I had a hardware problem, but where it lay-- earphones or iPhone 4, I didn't know.
1. For my first step, I tried the earphones with another iPhone 4, and got the exact same results. That convinced me that it was a problem with the earphones, but then I tried them on our iPad and they worked fine!
2. That ruled out the earphones and got me wondering if both iPhone 4's earphone jacks were flakey or misbehaving.I had read about the old fuzz in the jack problem, so I used an air blower to clean it out, but it made no difference. I still figured that maybe both jacks were stressed in some way, although two of them?
3. Then I read that some people found different apps worked--and even specifically that running Skype could solve things. That didn't work. However, it led me to try various streaming apps (e.g., Portal to the Universe, NPR) and everything was fine-- sound from both sides and remote controls fully functional.
At that point, I was convinced there was something odd going on with the Music app.
4. Finally, it occurred to me to try other podcasts-- and even other episodes of the particular podcast. They all worked fine.

The earphone controls on my N97 mini do not function. If I want to increase/decrease the volume or change track the controls on the earphone do not respond; instead I need to use the phone in order to the operations. I can listen to music without problems.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my Lumia 610. Everything worked fine until the earphones stopped working even though they're connected. I'm sure it's not them causing the problem because I've tested the phone with other earphones and it wouldn't recognise them as well. When something is played the sound simply comes from the speaker. The FM radio also doesn't work and shows information that earphones are not connected.

View 9 Replies View RelatedStrangeness.I have great sound from iTunes, but no sound from any other app, and no ringer from my phone. I have tried drying out the earphone socket with a hairdryer, and plugging/unplugging while listening to an iTunes song - all to no avail. I have checked al my settings, and all I can find are set to make sounds heard. Now I am flummoxed.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe WH-205 earphones that came with my N900 have died; there is an internal break and it has lost sound to one ear. I don't want another pair of them, I'm looking for an alternative set of in-ear earphones with a mic. Can anyone suggest something that has been tested with an N900? I bought a pair of Klipsch S2m earphones which had been suggested, but they don't work, they make a strange and loud clicking noise, so it seems the N900 is sensitive about which earphones/headsets work.Ideally I'm after earphones that have a cable, so I can use them on an aeroplane. Don't mind if they are Bluetooth too, as long as wired use is possible. I don't mind if special buttons don't work, as long as the audio and mic work correctly. Can anyone suggest anything that has been proven to work in practice?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI must be missing something, the headset (earphones) supplied with my X6 are absurdly short. If I want to listen to music I have to hold the phone next to my head. Any further away and the wire will pull out of my ears it is that short. In comparison to my ipod earphones (which aren't exactly long) the nokia ones are a 3rd the length. I also have some little square clip on player. The manual makes absolutely no reference to this so I can only assume it is a bluetooth player, though I don't know whether this needs batteries, or where the on button is for that matter. For something that is marketed as a music phone Nokia have done a fine job in making this the least practical mp3 player ever created. Can someone please explain to me why the headset is so short that it is redundant and what this mystery square device is. Says on the back ModelBH-214.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI had a Blackberry Torch 9800 at&t version and after a while, the sound just would no longer go through the earphones and would only come out the external speaker, I figured the problem was hardware failure so I upgraded to Blackberry Torch 9860.....and now the new 9860 that I have had for barely a month is doing the same thing.
Two consecutive phones doing exactly the same thing makes me think the problem is not hardware but rather software related......is there some setting in the phone somewhere that controls where the sound comes out? I want to be able use my earphones so I don't disturb everyone else at work.
Are there any specialist Sony Ericsson Aino headphones available? The earphones which are supplied with the phone are too big for my ears.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have xperia z2 running android 4.4.2 1 kitkat and I want to know if taking almost 6 seconds of time is a normal thing for my device to recognize earphones connection. things I did already that haven't worked: restarted the device, boot to safe (takes the same time duration), used different earbuds and headphones, wiped the headphone jack...
View 8 Replies View RelatedJust got my phone today and still playing around with it. One thing that surprise me in a not very pleasant way was how loud the volume is when you are listening to music using the earphone.
Even at the lowest volume it is still too loud for me to comfortably listen to. I tried listening for 15 minutes and stopped, my ears were ringing for a bit after that.
I tried using "Music Volume EQ" as recommended by someone having the same problem but it didnt do anything to me. The EQ seems to have no effect whatsoever.
