I turned off the keyboard clicks in the settings-->Sounds page.
Typing seems a little snappier. Whether that's perceived or real I'm not 100% sure.I also wonder if there's any battery savings benefit.

Every so often these sounds become very quiet (adjusting the volume does not help) and only switching off and then on again restores them to normal levels

It may just be the shutter and associated noises attributed to readying the camera to take vivid picture, but hears a few short clicks and such when booting up there camera, whether from an app or by holding down the camera button.

I've seen numerous posts about daylight savings affecting the time on the iphone, but haven't seen any responses to this particular question yet. Since daylight savings went into effect last weekend, my reminders are going off an hour early, even though the time on my iphone shows the current, proper time. My phone says it is 8:00 AM (CST). However, an alarm that I set for 8am went off at 7am this morning.

My s5 sometimes shows the right time and sometimes doesn't following Daylight Savings (sometimes it's an hour off). I keep having to restart the device, which fixes things in the short term. But, my alarms go off and then go off again an hour later. This is getting really tiresome! It's set to auto date/time/time zone, so I don't understand why it keeps showing the wrong time.

The small time display next to the battery meter is correct.
The large time display in the Sense 6 widget is one hour ahead. When the screen is locked, the time is displayed correctly, but when the phone is unlocked, the time is displayed one hour ahead. They're probably two separate widgets? Tap the Sense 6 widget, and the local time on the world clock page is also one hour ahead.
Any way to get the Sense 6 widget to display the correct time?

Yes, KNOX is tripped but I've read many reports in the UK warranty should still be covered. I've asked for the handset to be returned. It was returned to stock via Odin before sending in, so it's the Knox trip they're hedging this on.
when I use my 9810 you can hear the normal dial beeps in the background but there is a very loud acoustic click in the earphones - very offputting. Is there a software fix? I use the same earphones on my 9800 and there is no click just the normal key beeps
View 5 Replies View Relatedi am new galaxy s ii owner. i got this device two days ago and when i was playing with the camera i noticed a strange noise every time i went to the camera app. i tested with other camera apps and updated my firmware via kies and i can still hear the noise. the noise is like ,, two clicks" at every camera startup and that's all. after it my camera's autofocus and everything else works perfectly fine. exact sound i found in one of Internet videos: [url] but his camera does not work and the noise repeats. so my question would be is that noise perfectly fine? or is it just me and i should replace the device?

Many times when using it, it will think I have touched the screen even though my thumb is 1/2 to 1/4 inch above the screen.
I have my S2 for some days now. and suddenly my speaker acts weird. Every time sound is played (keyboard, calls, music, ....) the speaker acts weird don't know how to describe it:
1) It makes the right sound so thats Ok.
2) While playing the sound, the speaker clicks on (you can hear a click).
3) Then it makes a noise (you can compare it when you put your speaker from your PC really loud but ain't playing music or something).
4) After that it makes the click again.
Even in normal my 1520 screen is too sensitive. I'm constantly getting my finger swipe gestures registered as clicks. But what's weird is the double tap to wake up feature for the most part never works. Usual it's a quadruple or more taps to wake up....
View 24 Replies View RelatedI got my Nexus 5 on the 2nd of this month. I'm on Android 4.4.4. Just today, I was out and about and I realized that, although I was going into settings and turning Wi-Fi off, it just kept turning it right back on! (I had been using the Wi-Fi at the mall, then later I went to a friend's house and connected to my friend's Wi-Fi, which did not work.) So, I turned on my data, only for it to turn off after I guess about 30 seconds. I turned it back on, went on WhatsApp, in the middle of replying to a text from my friend it goes off yet again! What the... So, I went into settings and turned data on, and Wi-Fi off. As I watched, the Wi-Fi switched itself back on, and, predictably, even though there were no wireless networks to connect to, my data turned off as well.
This is really inconvenient. What could be causing the problem? I don't think I've downloaded any apps recently, but they do sometimes update. It was working fine on Thursday, but I've had my data off since then. I also booted into Safe Mode, and the problem doesn't seem to persist.
Why I can exit from music player in two clicks? I must click "parameter" icon, after scroll up menu and click exit! Could you show this menu fully and I can click "exit" icon with two clicks?
