I want to change my ringtone to a custom one. When I go th the ringtone screen all it shows is the default ringtones. There is no customize options at the top of the screen. How do I fix this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAlthough there are more topics about this subject, I've got a specific question about this problem. Recently, I bought an iPhone 4S via the online Apple Store. A couple of days ago, I noticed that there is dust under the screen of the iPhone. The dust is in the middle of the screen and not that large (circa 2mm), but notable and annoying. I contacted Apple and they came with the following options: Send iPhone to repair (lasts 9-17 days);Exchange the iPhone for a new one, costs 29 euros.
If it appears that the dust comes from outside and not from the factory, I'd have to pay 250 euros in both cases. In view of the fact that I cope well with the iPhone - I always use an iPhone case to protect it and I've never had it in my pocket without the case - it seems to be illogical that the dust is my 'fault'. The inside of the case is made of leather, which doesn't correspond to the dust under the screen. However, I'm not completely sure that the dust comes from the factory, since I noticed it just a couple of days ago.
My question: is it wise to exchange or repair the iPhone, since it creates a large risk? I don't want to pay 250 or 280 euros more, this is 'required' if I decide to exchange or repair it and if Apple can prove that the dust doesn't come from the factory.

View 9 Replies View RelatedSomething changed on my Xperia Ray and I don't know what or why. For some reason, when I try to share an app from my Home Screen, the options menu that used to appear asking for how I would like to share is no longer there. It used to be that I could long click an app on my Home Screen and then drag it up to the top where it says "SHARE." Then an options menu would appear and I could select how I would like to share. Now, when I drag something over the "SHARE" area, a little dialog box appears saying "Creating Post." Then it says "Connection Error." I have tried factory reseting my phone and repairing my phone more times than I can count. I'm not sure where the problem is. I also notice, that some settings seem to stay with the phone even after a repair or factory reset. For example, I had to manually enter my APN information when I first got the phone. It is now already entered when I finish a repair. I don't know if this sharing problem is some deep setting that I can't reset or something else all together. It's a royal pain. I really liked and used this feature before and now it's gone!

And, I lost my "Options" and "Compose" icons, which is like the most important ones! I read all suggestions here. It is not hidden, it is not in another folder, it just gone. With Calendar, when creating an event, it is possible to customise the time of the alarm. I like to have them all at 6am when I wake up, and that's easy done if I have my computer. But when creating an event fron the iPhone, you only have a few choices of time for an alarm, such as "1hour before the event" or "the day before", that doesn't really suit me.

I'm wondering if it would be possible to customize the FM-transmitter for the N86 with RDS, so it also sends the artist and title of the song being played to the FM-receiver used? Now it only sends "Nokia", but that means there must be a function for the "sending part".Had a SonyEricsson W980i before and it had this function. It's not a must, but is really neat when using the FM-transmitter in the car. Nokia doesn't want to be worse than SE, does it?
