The keyboard on my iPhone 4S is not appearing anymore. I can't type any messages. I tried restteing the iPhone but the keyboard still does not come up when required. I can only place the cursor by tapping, but no keyboard appears.

I am having problems synching my photos form device to device. It was suggested I "reset" my iPhone 4s. Unfortunately when I did that, the keyboard setup I have no longer has the little microphone key so I can talk and transmit text by voice. How to get the microphone icon back to my keyboard setup?

I usually keep the right side convenience key programmed to lock it. But that is not even an option anymore when you go to set the action for the convenience keys.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the torch 9800 and there appears to be a bug with the on screen keyboard. After viewing a few pdf files in Repligo Reader I went to compose an email. I noticed that the on screen virtual keyboard was missing the outlines around the individual keys and the alt, shift, language selection and delete keys are not displayed. Also the background of the keyboard is all gunmetal grey and the keys are white with no outlines as mentioned above. I can still use the keys, touch the area where the keys are not displayed and the functionality remains intact. This happens in both horizontal and vertical mode. If I change the vertical keyboard to compact mode in options the vertical keyboard is displayed normally. I have reproduced this issue, reported it to the Repligo Reader developer and the only way to resolve it is a hard reset or full device restart.

I can hold the A button and put it in what seems to be sleep mode, but my name and info does not show up on the home screen anymore. And you now push the mute button to unlock the keyboard. These are the only changes I have noticed. I liked the other way better.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe Keyboard Lock Icon was on the Home Screen till I installed the updates that were sent to me today on my BB. Now that Icon has disappeared. Checked the Help Section and could only find out how to lock or unlock screen manually. Checked the instruction booklet that came with it....again no help. Searched through the BB Curve Demo online - still nothing about adding back the icon. It was so easy just to push that button and not have to worry about the keys in my pocket or purse.....how do i get it back? If I dont want it back I wont install updates any longer because I found I had ro reset things back the way I wanted them to.....moving icons from folders to home screen etc....please tell me there is a way to get this back....just bought this BB in June and first one i have owned and have come to find it difficult to do without..
