May 18, 2012I can look at my photos on my Iphone like a hard drive and copy and paste the photos to my computer. I can then delete a batch at a time on the Iphone camera roll. However, how do I delete the 242 photos in my "photo library" album and the 242 duplicate photos in my "Iphone photo" album? When I click on the arrow box icon in the upper right corner of my phone, I can click on a photo, but the delete icon is not available. I am trying to free up more space on my phone and I want to delete these photos that I have already downloaded to my computer.

May 26, 2012I've had my new iphone for a couple of weeks and it's not syncing apps with my itunes on my macbook pro.
I get an error message saying that they couldn't be synced as I am not authorised on this compter. I've clicked on authorise this computer that hasn't worked and I have also tried deauthorising and authorising again.

Aug 6, 2010I have a 3gs with OS4 on it, which i recently JB with the website method. I have downloaded apps onto my phone via installous and when i go to itunes and sync, it deletes all those apps. I have tried and stopping the sync, and then choosing: "Transfer purchases from" and it works with some of my jailbroken apps, but not all. The ones that dont transfer over to itunes dont stay on the phone.Also i noticed that all my folders on the phone disappear and i have to keep organizing all my applications (major pain).

Jun 19, 2012Running iMAC 27 , lion 10.7.4 and iTunes 10.6.3 with an iPad 2 and iphone. I can't sync contacts anymore for some time now.Either on the iPad or iPhone. Everything is checked properly in iTunes , and , actually, everything worked properly..Calendars , Mails sync perfectly but the Synchronisation simply bypasses the Contacts. The groups in Adress Book do not show in iTunes. In iTunes, the "advanced" menu, with "replace information on this iPhone" doesnt work either? Now, all my iphone contacts are deleted, and iTunes never replaced those informations with the computer ones. I ve tried many things found here, and no improvement. I think it s a bug, and unfortunately, Apple doesn t do anything to address it.

Apr 1, 2010My iPhone was acting up so I backed it up and took it to the Apple Store. They promptly replaced it and told me not to restore it from the backup in iTunes. While I was certain I'd heard Apple/Mac's didn't get viruses, the Genius told me that whatever problem the iPhone had, may be embedded into the Contacts and restoring them may transfer the problem to my new phone. Sounds like a virus to me.
He said there's a way to retrieve the contacts from the PC without going through Itunes & if I do it this way, my virus program will filter out any "embedded problem." No, I did not backup my contacts to Outlook. I never needed them and just assumed they were being put there. HELP!! I no longer use a paper phone book--I had over 10 years of contacts in my iPhone and are somewhere on my PC. How can I get them on my new iPhone?
2nd question. How do I get all of my apps back, again, without restoring from prior backup? I tried to right click on my iPhone in iTunes and click restore purchases, but a funny thing happened...it transferred only one over??? I have at least 25 or 30.
