May 18, 2012I can look at my photos on my Iphone like a hard drive and copy and paste the photos to my computer. I can then delete a batch at a time on the Iphone camera roll. However, how do I delete the 242 photos in my "photo library" album and the 242 duplicate photos in my "Iphone photo" album? When I click on the arrow box icon in the upper right corner of my phone, I can click on a photo, but the delete icon is not available. I am trying to free up more space on my phone and I want to delete these photos that I have already downloaded to my computer.

May 15, 2012I have an Iphone and Ipod I want to sync the Iphone and the Ipod with different music and apps also I would like my wallpapers to remain seperate if possible. When I sync my Iphone to Itunes library I lost all apps and it reset the whole phone. When I did the sync for Ipod I gained contacts and every app I have ever downloaded from both devices. I do not understand why I am unable to retrieve this information for the Iphone.

Jun 26, 2014I used to have an old LG flip-phone and an iPod Touch. I lost the iPod Touch about six months ago. This week I got my iPhone. I had to go to the Verizon store to have them take all the contacts off the LG phone and put them onto my iPod.Â
I had painstakingly pared down my iTunes music library to choice selection of checked items that were small enough to fit on the iPod touch. I didn't want to go through that process again, so I hooked my iPhone up to my computer for the first time, opened iTunes, and synced with the iPod touch backup on my computer. It would have been smart to have backed up the iPhone first, but I didn't. Since I couldn't text with the iPod Touch, it didn't occur to me that the existing texts on my iPhone would be overwritten.Â
Now all the media files and apps from my old iPod Touch are on my new iPhone 5. The new iPhone apps I downloaded yesterday are on there, too. But the contacts and texts have vanished.Â
To review: no iTunes backup of iPhone data. No iCloud backup, either-- I've never used iCloud before.Â
I downloaded Wondershare's iPhone Data Recovery program and used it to scan data on the device. The scan shows 0 contacts and only the 2 text messages that I've received this evening. Curiously, it does have my entire call history from the last week.Â
So is there any way to recover the texts from this last week?

Sep 2, 2010I would have thought that the iPod app would have been a much better place to have Ping. I hardly ever use the iTunes app on the iPhone, it's hidden away in a folder of apps I don't use but can't delete.
The iPod app would have been much better imo and makes more sense. It's an app used daily by most people. You are listening to something on the go, you like it, you click to recommend. You can look up info on the artist you are currently playing and so on. Doubt I will ever use it when it's in the ITunes app.

Apr 23, 2012i am stuck in a tricky situation and would things first i know this is quite a frequently asked question as i have done a bit of searching on the net about it however could not not find anything that totaly matches myproblem, i have recently purchased a brand new laptop which runs windows 7 compared to my old desktop which ran XP, i have tried syncing all of my iphone 4s contents onto my new laptop's itunes library including everything not just music or videos and i got the infamous pop up "The iphone is synced with another Itunes library. Do you want to erase this iphone and sync with this Itunes library" the problem is that my original itunes library does not exist no more as my desktop was completly wiped and had XP redownloaded onto it again because it had a virus, which also wiped all of my hard drive so i cant even get everything i backed up off of my phone from it, i have managed to sign in to the itunes store and allowed my laptop to work with itunes,i have also transferred my purchases from my phone to my new itunes library but this only includes my apps and obviously not my contacts and photos and everything, i still get the pop up if i go to sync my apps from my library anyway, is there any way i can delete my original itunes library without it even existing anymore so that i can just start afresh and sync everything i have on my phone now directly to my new itunes library? or do i need to purchase this iphone rip/backup/store software that everyone goes on about or something? to be honest its really annoying my now as i just want to be able to sync everything like how i used to,

My mac is set to never sleep, but when I activate it after long periods of inactivity I notice that my Wi-Fi has to reconnect.
