Jun 9, 2012Will a screen saver or 'display sleep' stop the remote from working? My mac is set to never sleep, but when I activate it after long periods of inactivity I notice that my Wi-Fi has to reconnect. I'm assuming the wi-fi drops out while the mac is not in use (though itunes is still playing music), and I cannot connect via the Remote app.

Every time it manually manage checked on default computer [home] and the iphone plugged into another computer the manually manage not checked.If i checked at those other computer , it will erase and sync.This not happen on 5.0.1 ipad, it still checked at other computers, so i can drag and drop as i want. The itunes said now only able to manually manage only 1 iphone (5.1.1) library/itunes/computer only.

Sep 2, 2010I would have thought that the iPod app would have been a much better place to have Ping. I hardly ever use the iTunes app on the iPhone, it's hidden away in a folder of apps I don't use but can't delete.
The iPod app would have been much better imo and makes more sense. It's an app used daily by most people. You are listening to something on the go, you like it, you click to recommend. You can look up info on the artist you are currently playing and so on. Doubt I will ever use it when it's in the ITunes app.
