Mar 25, 2012My wife purchased some Apps for the kids on the Ipad last night Dora, Angry Birds Space etc etc. Since we have two kids they both want to play. However the purchases are not displaying on the iphone (same account). I went in the Apps purchase history on iphone but cannot see the purchase. However, when I look on the Ipad it is showing the purchase (even on the itunes, account history. For information, I have it set to automatically update purchases and have icloud enabled I also have a very fast wife connection.

Apr 28, 2012Why are all my iMessages that I send from my iPhone 4 to my boyfriends iPhone 4s showing on my brothers iPad? We do not share an apple ID! He can send a message from his iPad to my boyfriend and then it shows on both phones that I am the sender when I have not sent anything.

Jun 9, 2012My devices don't show up in itunes, not iphone, not ipad. I can't sync. I get a message when I connect my iphone to computer, 4s- to Windows 7. When I try to start the mobile devise service I get error message "The apple mobile device service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs,". I do have icloud so is that the issue? I used to be able to sync my ipad, not anymore. And I have a new iphone 4s that isn't recognized either.

Mar 30, 2012Due to syncing glitches, I have ended up with many duplicate contacts that are not exactly the same. I cannot determine which ones to delete, because I cannot determine which version has the newest information. I do not want to carry around an extra several thousand inaccurate contacts on my iPhone and iPad. The original contacts database on my computer has diverged from my iPhone/iPad databases, so I can't necessarily go back to that one, again because I cannot determine which version is newer. Is there a way to get the modification date of a contact to show up?

Jun 23, 2010when i receive an sms it only shows the number that send it, but that number is in my contactlist. I would expect that it would show the contact name. All sms message so far show only the number, except from 1 person. But i cannot figure out why it is not matching up the rest. I tried different phonenumber possibilities to put in the contact: I tried: erasing the contact, and add it via the sms menu option(add to contacts) erasing all sim contact to have no duplicates. upgrading to the latest firmware version. rebooting the phone,remove battery,add batterij, restart but nothing seem to fix the issue. Another symptom is that when sending an sms to a person it shows the contact list name in the sent items, but when that person replies the inbox shows again only the number.

At times, I have seen that when I receive a call from the person who is already added in my contact list, the phone is just displaying the number and not the name of the person. When I check the Log, it also displays the number and not the name of the person.
I have imported my contact list from my previous handset (Nokia N70) where it worked absolutely fine. It is quite inconvenient to identify the caller without the name and decide whether to accept or reject during work hours and have at times missed some important calls due to that.

The same caller (who of course is stored in the phonebook) calls me on SIM 2 - the display shows me only a number, nor the name and neither the photo. Both calls has been made from a cell-phone to my motorola. All the contacts are stored under PHONE. There are no contacts neither in SIM1 nor in SIM2.
