After arriving back from holiday, I synced my iphone as normal to transfer the recent pictures I'd taken (on the phone) to my PC. The sync was interrupted and now none of the pictures exist - they must be stored somewhere; does anyone know how I can retrieve these pictures?

I've got an iPhone 5 64GB, with iOS 8.1.1 (updated since this problem occurred, so it was using the previous version). I'm using it with iTunes 12.0.1.26 on a Windows 7 computer. Recently I synched my phone with iTunes (admittedly for the first time in a while), and noticed that most of the epub books in ibooks on the phone were missing. On opening iTunes I found that a lot of the books were in iTunes, but that for some reason only a few of the books had been selected to sync. I selected all of them and solved that problem. However, there were one or two books which I had downloaded directly with my phone, which do not appear on the phone or my PC. How to recover them?

I was having issues with the iphone, and I ended up doing a backup/hard-reset/restore. Everything came back fine except my downloaded kindle books. Actually, when I first opened the kindle app, I saw the previously downloaded books listed in the "device" tab, but they soon disappeared.Â
Where does the kindle app store this info on my phone and why wasn't it saved/restored to/from the backup?Â
I can download those books again from the cloud, so nothing lost, but it is an annoyance - especially if one likes to have lots of books handy.Â

I have these voice memos on my iPhone 4 which I want to extract, and I've read that the way to do it is to perform a sync with iTunes. However, the iPhone was synchronised with an older computer, which is no longer working. I don't recall having performed any major syncing with that old computer, except for apps. So iTunes told me the usual stuff, that if I choose to sync with my current computer, the data from the iPhone will be deleted and replaced with the new content (there's none at the moment) from the current computer. Now, what I would like to know is: if I choose to synchronise music only (plus voice memos) by only checking the "Sync Music" checkbox under the "Music" tab, would the other stuff (apps, for example) still be removed as well and synced with the current computer (no apps)? The dialogue box which appeared and warned of removing my existing data (and syncing with the current library) made me hesitant to proceed...
I'm ok with clearing music, because there are no music pieces on the iPhone in the first place. What I'm worried about is that the other stuff will be removed as well. Logically, I'm thinking it shouldn't, since I'm only asking iTunes to sync my music, but can anyone confirm this?

The harddrive on my old computer died. Now when I try to sync my iPhone to the new computer, I get a message saying that my iPhone will be overwritten with the library on the computer. This wouldn't be a problem except my iPhone contains songs and books that are not showing up in the computer library. Since I updated to 5.1 on my iPhone 3Gs, I keep getting problems with the updated OS. I can't download apps, music or books from the iTunes store, it's very hit and miss. It is pointless having a pin upon wake up of the phone as all you have to do to get past the pin is by swiping the camera button up to by-pass it. The battery life has dramatically dropped from lasting a couple of days with everyday use to around 9 hours. The signal from the network has dropped from 3 bars on 3G to 4 bars on GPRS, and finally apps keep crashing and exit themselves to the home screen.
I have rang my network (O2UK) and they have said that they have had serveral reports of Apple products having these bugs since the release of 5.1, and saying that nothing has changed in terms of te settings and masts near me, but they advised me to check my network settings and if they are different from what O2's website said (they were the same). So why are there so many bugs with 5.1? I can't download any apps at all and my battery is worse?

I tried holding down the home and power button to get the dfu mode for restore, I've done this a few times now, it goes black after doing it and then goes back to the connect to itunes screen when I do it again. I bought two whole albums off of iTunes the other day from my Mac. They downloaded, and synced to my iPhone. These albums can play on my iPhone normally but there are also duplicates with the symbol as described above, except with no art work and they will not play.I am a user of iCloud, but not iTunes Match. All the songs are properly downloaded on my Mac, and there are no available downloads. I've tried hard reset as well and powercycling my phone. I've closed down the music and tried restarting. Everything is all up to date, and I've tried taking these two albums off then back on my iPhone, but that didn't do anything. Every time I sync my iPhone 4 it goes through the steps and says "Cancelling Sync" and a couple of the new albums I have recently downloaded will not go on to my iPhone. Although with my shuffle all these songs will go on with no problem. Do I need to restore my phone?
