IPhone :: How To Download ITunes Audio Books From Mac
Apr 25, 2012
I have purchased an audio book in itunes on my Mac at home. I would like to download the audio book onto my iphone and can't seem to figure it out. I have previously shared books, music, apps and movies via icloud but audio books will not work for me.
Since I updated to 5.1 on my iPhone 3Gs, I keep getting problems with the updated OS. I can't download apps, music or books from the iTunes store, it's very hit and miss. It is pointless having a pin upon wake up of the phone as all you have to do to get past the pin is by swiping the camera button up to by-pass it. The battery life has dramatically dropped from lasting a couple of days with everyday use to around 9 hours. The signal from the network has dropped from 3 bars on 3G to 4 bars on GPRS, and finally apps keep crashing and exit themselves to the home screen.
I have rang my network (O2UK) and they have said that they have had serveral reports of Apple products having these bugs since the release of 5.1, and saying that nothing has changed in terms of te settings and masts near me, but they advised me to check my network settings and if they are different from what O2's website said (they were the same). So why are there so many bugs with 5.1? I can't download any apps at all and my battery is worse?

I bought an audio from Apple store for my iphone. I cannot find it. When I look for it, I am lead to the store and they tell me I purchased it. But, I cannot find it to read it. Where is the book I purchased?
I have a number of older audio books and audio files that I have recorded myself using a dictaphone and added to the iTunes library and then set the info for them to be "audio book".
Since the latest software update, my iPhone 4 (and no it's not jail broken) has a) not updated the iPhone library to include or exclude audio books I add or remove from it via sync (using either playlists or the book option where you can tick the books to sync). Instead I have to search on the phone for them and then I have a number of problems with the actual playback:
1) some of the audio books only show a track length of 3 mins even though on the computer they show as their true length (over an hour).
2) on the above audio books and even on the ones that do show the right length, the second I try and fast forward, use the scrubbing bar or rewind them, it skips to the next track!
I have purchased a Nokia E63 and now find it does not support aa* files which is the format Audio Books use Is there a known work around? . I understand that aa* files are encrypted to protect the authors royalties and cannot understand why Nokia want to block the files as they do not offer an alternative.
Since I have had my iPhone 4 I have been able to download books via Overdrive to my iPhone using iTunes. Two weeks ago iTunes kept rejecting these download and I still have not resolved the issue.
After arriving back from holiday, I synced my iphone as normal to transfer the recent pictures I'd taken (on the phone) to my PC. The sync was interrupted and now none of the pictures exist - they must be stored somewhere; does anyone know how I can retrieve these pictures?
I've got an iPhone 5 64GB, with iOS 8.1.1 (updated since this problem occurred, so it was using the previous version). I'm using it with iTunes 12.0.1.26 on a Windows 7 computer. Recently I synched my phone with iTunes (admittedly for the first time in a while), and noticed that most of the epub books in ibooks on the phone were missing. On opening iTunes I found that a lot of the books were in iTunes, but that for some reason only a few of the books had been selected to sync. I selected all of them and solved that problem. However, there were one or two books which I had downloaded directly with my phone, which do not appear on the phone or my PC. How to recover them?
Can anyone tell me is it possible to download and use Audible books on the 5800 XM? If not Audible by Amazon are there any alternative suppliers that will work?
I have a couple phones. Well, quite a few. It started when I could not download books to the Turbo. It just put an exclamation point in the title and says sorry, try again later. I try again later for several days, and nothing changes. On the other hand everything works fine on my other phones, and I can log into Amazon no problem. So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Kindle.
This is not a complete uninstall of course since Kindle is pre-installed and unless you root, you're stuck with it. But after I uninstalled the updates it still would not work. So I nuked from orbit by wiping the phone and reinstalling Kindle (well, updating the built-in version). Well, THAT changed it. Now it won't take the password. It allows me to CHANGE the password, and I did that. But even after changing it (successfully it said) and verifying that the new PW worked on another phone and on my laptop, it still won't take it. It says that username/password combination does not exist.
i have a customer who has a iphone and needs to update to ios 5.1 for a corporate app to work. he does not have personnal machine at home to install itunes on, and the company will not allow itunes to be installed on any of their systems (you cant even run the installer as its blocked).i have my own machine that i connect to their guest wifi but when i try to download the ios 5.1 update, it says 36 hours remaining (i think they are blocking the traffic).is there a way to download the firmware while i have my machine at home and then install when i am back with the user (i only see the user for about 1 hour a week)
So, I really want the iOS 5 for my 3GS, but after downloading the new iTunes software on my Windows PC, it won't let me. Everytime I click 'Check for Update' it tells my my iPhone software is up to date, but I'm only running in iOS 4.2.1.How can I sort it out so I cand download the iOS 5? Also, all my apps keep on crashing 2 seconds after i click them to load. It's like it will give me a glimpse of the loading screen and then blank and go back to home.
I Have a 4s that has wifi greyed out after updating with 7.1.2. I am trying to restore my phone back to factory settings and download iOS 6.0.1 to my iTunes. Then upload it to my phone. Can this be done and how???
I have an iphone 4s. Recently, it stopped working with the app store and itunes. When I try to download a new app or update an existing app, all I get is the message "waiting..." below the app. This will go on indefinitely. When I try to download a new song or podcast, it says it is downloading but it doesn't. I have tried signing out from my itunes account and signing back in, closing all apps in multitasking, and restarting my iphone. Nothing seems to fix the problem. I can still connect it to my Macbook and update / add apps and songs / podcasts that way, but it is inconvenent. I would rather be able to do these things as I should be able to... straight from my phone.
I purchased an album on iTunes on my iPhone. The album downloaded on my MacBook Pro but the download is still waiting to download on my phone. Is there a way to restart or delete the download on my phone and start the download over?
