Jun 2, 2014Since I have had my iPhone 4 I have been able to download books via Overdrive to my iPhone using iTunes. Two weeks ago iTunes kept rejecting these download and I still have not resolved the issue.

IPhone :: 4 Audio Books Only Showing 3 Minutes And Then Skipping If Fast Forward
May 2, 2012I have a number of older audio books and audio files that I have recorded myself using a dictaphone and added to the iTunes library and then set the info for them to be "audio book".
Since the latest software update, my iPhone 4 (and no it's not jail broken) has a) not updated the iPhone library to include or exclude audio books I add or remove from it via sync (using either playlists or the book option where you can tick the books to sync). Instead I have to search on the phone for them and then I have a number of problems with the actual playback:
1) some of the audio books only show a track length of 3 mins even though on the computer they show as their true length (over an hour).
2) on the above audio books and even on the ones that do show the right length, the second I try and fast forward, use the scrubbing bar or rewind them, it skips to the next track!

I understand that aa* files are encrypted to protect the authors royalties and cannot understand why Nokia want to block the files as they do not offer an alternative.

BB Bold :: Protect System Has Gone Into Overdrive?
Oct 8, 2011My BlackBerry Protect system has gone into overdrive it wont allow me to access any app updates, update various settings etc because i cant sign in to it. i know i have the right password but even tried changing it and it must be right as my 'remaining attempts' isnt increasing. i just keep getting the error message "unable to log in to your account" can this be fixed? i really dont want to have to restore factory settings to try to fix it, its taken ages to program it all?

Jul 20, 2011Just installed overdrive media connector to 3.2, hadn't tried it in 3.1. The sample audio welcome file downloads and plays as expected, and program navigation is as expected.
Downloaded a few ebooks from our regional library, but the reader hangs when loading them after download. Uninstall/reinstall gives the same problem.
No online tech support from overdrive, no results when searched for similar problems. My phone is an evo 4g with 2.3, will try it when I have a chance.

Mar 26, 2010When I've dialed or received a call on my ENV3 using my Bluetooth headset, I sometimes would like to stop using the Bluetooth & transfer the call/audio to the phone itself.I searched the ENV3 Users Guide and done a lot of Googling, but I can't seem to find the answer. The only info I've found that's even remotely related is located here pertaining to a bug fix in the v05 firmware:
"Open the flip and press keypad during a voice call à audio transfer to phone à Close the flip and try to put audio back to the Bluetooth headset by using audio to device option on the phone. The phone fails to transfer audio."It's not very clear, but from reading this I assume that you can switch back 'n forth between a Bluetooth device & the phone by opening/closing the flip? What is the "audio to device option" it's referring to?
IPhone :: 4 - Unable To Get Any Sustained Audio Out Of The Speakers?
Jun 4, 2012Since upgrading to iOS 5.1.1 I have not been able to get any sustained audio out of the phones speakers. By sustained, I mean that I will occasionaly get "blips" of sound, but they only last for a few seconds and then stop.
Phone info:
Network - AT&T
iPhone Model - MC319LL
IOS version - 5.1.1 (9B208)
1) This problem first occured while using the "WhiteNoise" app, it started to play the audio, cut off, and it audio has been intermitten ever since.
2) I believe the issue is software related because the audio controls are missing (see screen shots)
Photo 1 = Audio Controls with the headphones plugged in
Photo 2 = Audio Controls without the headphones plugged in (not the missing volume bar)
Photo 3 = Pressing the volume buttons (+,-) without the headphones plugged in (No volume "boxes")
Photo 4 = Pressing the volume buttons (+,-) with the headphones plugged in
3) When selecting the "ring tone" from the Settings menu the selected tone will play with out issue through the speakers
4) Occasionaly UIAlert Messages play audio tones without issue (ESPN's sports scores app for example) Steps I have taken to resolve the issue:

When I turn in bluetooth in settings (in iphone) the icon appears on the top bar, but as soon I turn away from settings screen the bluetooth icon disappears. But for some reason it decides to not play certain songs and i get a notification at the bottom of the screen saying "unable to play audio file".
