Apr 8, 2012has anyone had any issues w/no "alert" on their calender?? this a.m. I had a 2 hour alert set and nothing.1st time this has happened.

Apr 30, 2012I deleted a calendar event from my iPhone 4S after the event but it keeps popping up on my phone as an alert every single day. I might have set it to recurring which I don't remember but even if I did I deleted the event itself. I sync my phone with my laptop everyday but I don't understand how I get an alert on my phone when I already deleted it. The worse part is I cant find this event anywhere on my phone but it pops up before lunch time every single day and its so annoying now. What I should do to get rid of this recurring event that I already deleted.

From now, I just have the next event for the current day, not for the seven next days (before this nokia I had a WM phone and I can read the next event on the home screen for the next 7 days, it was very fine). May 4, 2012All reminders set on my Blackberry Torch 9800 would not provide a reminder (a pop up screen) nor would it vibrate (in normal and vibrate mode) or make a sound (in normal mode) when the time of reminder was set. For example: Time now it is 4:50pm and I set a reminder for 5pm with a reminder set for 5 min. On my previous BB9700 a reminder would be generated at 4:55 pm (a sound and/or vibrate depending on the mode and profile setting). On my current BB 9800, nothing would happen.

Jun 22, 2010I recently downlaoded a bunch of ringtones off of the internet, and I also recently added another email account to my tour. I Assigned different alert tones to the 2 email addresses, sms messages, bbm messages, and facebook alerts. I have found that when I get a message, and the assigned alert tone is activated, as soon as that tone turns off anoter different alert is then activated. I cannot figure out why or how to prevent this from happening.

Jun 26, 2010This is only the second time this has happened since I got the phone a few weeks back.I have all of my messages set to different specific ringtones. My SMS to one, my MMS to one, my email to one etc. So tonight I rcvd an email and instead of playing the tone it always plays that it is set for (one of the generic preloaded notifier tones)... it played my SMS tone (which is an actual song tone) to alert me to my email.
And NO I didnt recieve a new SMS at the same time. That folder is empty and the only red star alert was on my email envelope. Like I said this is very, very few and far between but why would this happen??I went over every one of my sound/alert settings and they are all the way they should be set for my liking.

Jun 3, 2014I recently traveled overseas and had all my calendar items show on my iPhone as in the new locations time (ie, they moved X hours so wrong, but consistent). So the Appointments stayed in my home time zone, they just showed in the equivalent time period on the iPhone calendar.Â
When I returned home, my Calendar on my MacBook reverted to normal (ie, all appointments went to the correct, original time) but the iOS Calendar has somehow locked into the other time zone that I visited for a week or so. How can I get all the appointments on my iPhone to show correctly without changing or losing any of them.

Apr 16, 2012I wanted to share my Home iCloud calendar on my iPhone with my wife so we could both add our respective events and see when the other person is busy. So far, all well. I logged on to the iCloud web site and shared my calendar with my wife.
She then accepted the shared calendar, but then her own Home calendar was replaced with mine, and she can no longer find hers anywhere. It's not on iCloud when she logs on to the web site, and there is no trace of it on her iPhone. And is there a chance we can get her calendar back? There were a lot of events on her calendar.

Jun 28, 2012Recently a couple of my board members purchased IPhones and IPads. And I have set them up the best I can. If they create a calendar entry on the IPhone or IPad it will show up in Outlook right away. However if they or one of their admins log onto their Outlook calendars and remove a schedule meeting the entry will not delete off the IPhone or IPads. I know there is a 15 minute sync on the devices but I have tested them after hours and days and the entries are still on the calendars on the mobile devices. This creates serious issues when people show up to meetings and destinations that have been cancled days in advanced.

I have my phone set to Push and Fetch for manual check to help conserve battery, and when I check, I will see the email come in, but no notification sound/vibrate. Even on fetch it does it. And from appx. 5 mins and on I will finally hear the notification ding or vibrate. I called apple care- they walked me through resetting all network settings.. that did not work, I also restore my phone.. and that did not work..
