Upgrade to IOS 5.1 deleted all my received email on my iPhone and iTunes doesn't backup email. I can fix that just by resending all the messages from PC email client so nothing actually lost in this case.
However, my immediate issue is that I don't see a Mail option anywhere when I go into Settings. My previous mail account is still there and does actually send A forward from iCloud also works so it looks like I can receive at that previous mail account on the iPhone. But how do I get to a screen that will allow me to add/delete/modify mail accounts?
I have a gmail account and email is currently being synced from my outlook to my iphone, but sent messages from my iphone are not being synced to my outlook. Do I need to enter an IMAP path prefix?
I have two e-mail accounts on iPhone, and need to delete the business e-mail. Seems simple, but the RED DELETE Account button is no longer an option.Â
Just bought IPhone 4 cheap figuring I'd fix it & make a quick buck. The screen is black. I've replaced screen but still same problem. The seller says he dropped it. Could it be water damage.

As per different threads I used BlackRaIn and performed the JailBreak Process. I was able to see GeoHot logo and I got a message saying, the jailbreak process will be done once its rebooted. After Rebooting, I don't see a BlackRaIn icon at all. I ran this process again and same thing, I don't see BlackRaIn icon.
I didn't get any errors and everything went smooth. Now in order for me to unlock, I wanted to install Snow but since I dont see the BlackRaIn icon I dont know how to proceed. Did I perform the correct steps and did I use the correct software(BlackRaIn). Appreciate if some one could shed some light for unlocking my device further.
There are some apps which are available in appstore ,But when I tried to search from app store those are not visible.Example : Bank of America Mobile banking.My Device is registered and , iStore account is having USA address only .Â
I can really blame this one on the dog. Walking to my desk, phone in hand, excited puppy races along and bounces into me, phone goes flying. Lands face down.Screen is white, and will sometimes flash grey lines when it seems the phone is trying to do something (like reboot). The music that was playing before the drop continued to play after. The touch screen does not seem to respond. The phone rings when people call me, and my alarm that I had set still went off. Itunes recognizes when my phone is plugged into my computer.
I've been doing research for a few hours trying to see if this is something I can fix - I opened it up to re-seat all the connections, and that didn't help (it didn't seem to make things worse either, at least). There are no visible cracks/breaks on the outside (I have not completely dismantled the inside to see from there).
Phone is a week past warranty, and I don't know that this would have been covered anyway. I'm prepared to fix it myself, as long as I have a good idea what I need to buy. Should I be looking at an LCD replacement? A digitizer replacement? Something else? I've read conflicting things on this. Thanks for any help that can be offered.
I back up my phone few time and taken every thing off and reload it?for some reason itunes keeps duplicating visible albums and i can't get rid of them? Also i mix one my albums up and won't let me get rid of album with 4songs in?
My iphone mail app regularly requires restart to get mail flowing. That is it is running (doesn't crash) but will at time just stop getting email updates. I then have to force close the mail app (i.e. kill it) and then restart it. After restarting it the mail flows again.
Notes:
a) I do connect to Gmail for my mail - I'm using the IMAP facility for gmail currently (i.e. not the "Exchange" method)
b) I do also have the Google "Gmail" app running on my device too
When I'm out and about, I pick up my mail on my iPad and/or on my iPhone. I HATE having to sift through the duplicates. I know I can delete the emails from the server as they are being downloaded, and that would solve the problem between the iDevices. But I still want a copy of them downloaded into Outlook on my desktop for future reference, so deleting them from the server before Outlook gets ahold of them does not seem like a good idea.I currently have a POP3 account, but I could move onto an Exchange Server or into iCloud or something else if that would solve the problem.
I am using the iPhone 4s. Mail worked until 3 days ago. I get a message to contact my server. Using hotmail and all my other devises are working, i. e. iPad computers, etc. I hate to lose my contacts by deleting the account since I know I will lose contact information.
I recently changed my password on Yahoo.com, and I started having trouble accessing my email using the mail app on the iPhone 5. It was displaying "cannot get mail" and couldn't connect to the server, even after I updated my password on the phone. It seemed like it was reverting to my old password, even after I successfully changed it.Â
I switched to trying to access Yahoo through Mail - Other and it worked. I can receive my e-mails, but now it is not letting me send outgoing mails. It says "doesn't accept relays".
Just switched from an ancien NOKIA to E52 and at the moment it's a struggle. I wonder if the white LED visible between the Home key and the Call Send key is normal. Sometimes it comes on together with the screen and sometimes it does not - so I guess it's not normal. And I didn't see it in any of the You Tube videos on E52.
I recently updated my maps using Ovi Maps upadater. Now I get my location in latitude & longitude, but only a white screen - no maps. When installing I get this message, "This version of maps is not compatible with old map data stored on your device. Delete old map data?" If you don't delete old map data it won't install, and if you do you get the blank screen.
I have a Nokia E72. I have installed tweets60 some while ago, but since some time (maybe a sw update) it's no longer available in the apps folder. I cannot download from ovi store and I can't uninstall since it's not in the installed apps section.
