Aug 2, 2010so last night after jailbreaking the iphone 4 i noticed that the MMS and Facetime are missing.. yeah, i checked the settings under phone tab but still the facetime menu for on-off is missing. MMS is missing too!
this morning i upgraded my itunes to 9.2.1 and upgraded the iPhone 4 as well from 4.0 to 4.0.1! after restoring itunes will ask you if you want to restore on your back-up or as a new iphone 4 something like that. do not go on that step! instead go to your safari on your iphone then do the jailbreaking. i did not use wi-fi. i typed jailbreakme.com and not jailbreakme.modmyi.com
after jailbreaking go to settings and find phone tab. you should see now the facetime and turn it on. check also your MMS. you will now see the camera icon on the compose message.hope this will work for you guys having problems with facetime and MMS
EDIT: i did this step on my iPad 3G and no still luck..

Sep 9, 2014I have an 2 iPhone 5, one is running 7.1.2 and one is running 8 Beta 5.FaceTime is no where to be found, neither on the homepage or settings or restrictions.
I bought both iPhones from UAE and FT have been missing since launch until last month when i was visiting a relative in Qatar and i put a Qatari sim in and FaceTime appeared and I have used and all is well but when I left I had to go to germany so i gave the qatari sim to my relative and put my normal Emirati sim in and FaceTime disappeared. Thinking that it will reappear when I put a german sim in but sadly i was wrong.
I tried fresh installs of both iOS 8 and iOS 7.1.4

Mar 29, 2012I bought a new iPhone 4S and it seems that it misses the FaceTime functionality. I googled alot and all the solutions didn't fit my scenario, it doesn't appear anywhere, not in settings, not in Settings -> Phone, not in Settings -> General -> Restrictions and not in the contacts.I even checked in which country this phone should be in to make sure it's not for countries that doens't allow FaceTime at all and I saw that it was intended to be used in North America so this is not the case.

Jan 16, 2010First off when I take my phone out of lock or wake up it from sleeping the icons are missing till i wipe my finger across the screen.. its weird to explain but its kinda like i have to swipe the whole screen for the icons to be visable the same thing happens when my phone goes to sleep and the keyboard is open.. any ideas?

Recently I synched my phone with iTunes (admittedly for the first time in a while), and noticed that most of the epub books in ibooks on the phone were missing. On opening iTunes I found that a lot of the books were in iTunes, but that for some reason only a few of the books had been selected to sync. I selected all of them and solved that problem. However, there were one or two books which I had downloaded directly with my phone, which do not appear on the phone or my PC. How to recover them?

Jun 26, 2012Upgrade to IOS 5.1 deleted all my received email on my iPhone and iTunes doesn't backup email. I can fix that just by resending all the messages from PC email client so nothing actually lost in this case.
However, my immediate issue is that I don't see a Mail option anywhere when I go into Settings. My previous mail account is still there and does actually send A forward from iCloud also works so it looks like I can receive at that previous mail account on the iPhone. But how do I get to a screen that will allow me to add/delete/modify mail accounts?

Modem Firmware: 05.11.07.
As per different threads I used BlackRaIn and performed the JailBreak Process. I was able to see GeoHot logo and I got a message saying, the jailbreak process will be done once its rebooted. After Rebooting, I don't see a BlackRaIn icon at all. I ran this process again and same thing, I don't see BlackRaIn icon.
I didn't get any errors and everything went smooth. Now in order for me to unlock, I wanted to install Snow but since I dont see the BlackRaIn icon I dont know how to proceed. Did I perform the correct steps and did I use the correct software(BlackRaIn). Appreciate if some one could shed some light for unlocking my device further.
