Jul 20, 2011My email icon (the one associated with an email account added via Blackberry Internet Service) has disappeared after upgrading the Blackberry Device Software via Blackberry Desktop.At the same time after the upgrade Email Setup does no work. Clicking on the setup icon -> email gets the clock timer for 1 second and then nothing.I've now downgraded back to device operating system 6.0 bundle 905 which has made the email setup icon workagain but no email icon has returned.I've requested the service books which have been successful, but no icon. I've removed and reinserted the battery.I can read messages from the general message icon which shows email is getting to the device but I'd prefer the original functionality of a seperate email icon per account appearing in the All Icons section.I think 6.0 bundle 2647 seems a liitle flaxy or something got corrupted at upgrade.

Aug 2, 2010so last night after jailbreaking the iphone 4 i noticed that the MMS and Facetime are missing.. yeah, i checked the settings under phone tab but still the facetime menu for on-off is missing. MMS is missing too!
this morning i upgraded my itunes to 9.2.1 and upgraded the iPhone 4 as well from 4.0 to 4.0.1! after restoring itunes will ask you if you want to restore on your back-up or as a new iphone 4 something like that. do not go on that step! instead go to your safari on your iphone then do the jailbreaking. i did not use wi-fi. i typed jailbreakme.com and not jailbreakme.modmyi.com
after jailbreaking go to settings and find phone tab. you should see now the facetime and turn it on. check also your MMS. you will now see the camera icon on the compose message.hope this will work for you guys having problems with facetime and MMS
EDIT: i did this step on my iPad 3G and no still luck..

I bought both iPhones from UAE and FT have been missing since launch until last month when i was visiting a relative in Qatar and i put a Qatari sim in and FaceTime appeared and I have used and all is well but when I left I had to go to germany so i gave the qatari sim to my relative and put my normal Emirati sim in and FaceTime disappeared. Thinking that it will reappear when I put a german sim in but sadly i was wrong.
I tried fresh installs of both iOS 8 and iOS 7.1.4

Jul 9, 2015my recovery after I installed the latest android version(also installed custom rom and elementalx kernel, but I don't think it has anything to do with it), when I try to flash recovery, it works basically, but whenever I start the phone it automatically goes into recovery, and the only way to fix it is to flash another boot.img file, it reboots fine when I do it, but then I don't have recovery only the dead red triangle thing (Don't give me the power+vol fix, that's not the solution I'm looking for, as its not a very useful recovery), I tried to flash few recoveries/other boot.img files, but none of them boot regulary + recovery is working..I doubt its a problem with the boot.img I try to flash, because I tried so many and it didn't worked, anyway.

Aug 18, 2011i installed the latest update 071.004 on e72, now text message doesn't work properly. i have to switch off and on once to recieve the msgs. most of the msgs i send will go n sit in outbox. i have to manually select each one and select send option in outbox to send them. Also found problems with bluetooth. send via bluetooth option doesn't work. it doesn't even search for the the devices available.I am also getting 'memory full-close some applications' error in messaging and also in the browsers.my phone has about 191Mb of free space and mem card(8gb) 5.6gb free.
