I am going to upgrade my phone to the new ios5 system and take backup first. However, when right clicking on my iPhone in iTunes, the only opportunity to choose is "eject".

However much they dress up the software, it is one of the lamest pieces of mobile management software that one could come across. I'm happy to pay for an app that would make it easy to move documents (tex/MS/spreadsheets) onto the phone and generally manage it. I cannot believe that in 2012 (almost!) that a major phone manufacturer cannot put some decent software out there.And they think that everyone wants to use their Nokias for pictures and music? No wonder Apple, Samsung and co are creaming them.

It seems that the adapters out there only support the audio going from the phone to the headset, and not for carrying the microphone signal from the headset back to the phone. (In otherwords, only to be used for listening to music.)
My uncle wants to transfer his contacts and messages from his mobile to his PC. I know the 6070 supports PC Suite but he said that for some reason, PC Suite isn't working with it. He has tried another program called Mobile Media Browser which did work but he can only transfer ringtones and images, not contacts or messages. He has contacted the local Nokia retailer and they said that the only way to get it working with PC Suite is to wipe the memory off his phone so he wants to save his contacts and messages in a safe place before he does that.

So far the only disappointment for me is that samsung didn't include the "Add Me" effect in Scene Mode. I've had so much fun with this effect and I actually use it more compared to any other scene mode. I would like to ask if there's an app that can do the same thing? I'm using it with iTunes 12.0.1.26 on a Windows 7 computer. Recently I synched my phone with iTunes (admittedly for the first time in a while), and noticed that most of the epub books in ibooks on the phone were missing. On opening iTunes I found that a lot of the books were in iTunes, but that for some reason only a few of the books had been selected to sync. I selected all of them and solved that problem. However, there were one or two books which I had downloaded directly with my phone, which do not appear on the phone or my PC. How to recover them?

I followed the unlocked instruction from AT&T to restore my 3GS iPhone from factory settings. After completing restoring, follow the steps to set up the phone and stuck at activation screen. I inserted AT&T SIM card and connected to iTune but still failed to activate with following error message on iTune: "There is no SIM card installed in the iphone you are attempting to activate. Please disconnect and insert a SIM card in the iPhone." I have retry several times (including disconnect and reinsert the sim) but no luck.

i have a customer who has a iphone and needs to update to ios 5.1 for a corporate app to work. he does not have personnal machine at home to install itunes on, and the company will not allow itunes to be installed on any of their systems (you cant even run the installer as its blocked).i have my own machine that i connect to their guest wifi but when i try to download the ios 5.1 update, it says 36 hours remaining (i think they are blocking the traffic).is there a way to download the firmware while i have my machine at home and then install when i am back with the user (i only see the user for about 1 hour a week)

i am stuck in a tricky situation and would things first i know this is quite a frequently asked question as i have done a bit of searching on the net about it however could not not find anything that totaly matches myproblem, i have recently purchased a brand new laptop which runs windows 7 compared to my old desktop which ran XP, i have tried syncing all of my iphone 4s contents onto my new laptop's itunes library including everything not just music or videos and i got the infamous pop up "The iphone is synced with another Itunes library. Do you want to erase this iphone and sync with this Itunes library" the problem is that my original itunes library does not exist no more as my desktop was completly wiped and had XP redownloaded onto it again because it had a virus, which also wiped all of my hard drive so i cant even get everything i backed up off of my phone from it, i have managed to sign in to the itunes store and allowed my laptop to work with itunes,i have also transferred my purchases from my phone to my new itunes library but this only includes my apps and obviously not my contacts and photos and everything, i still get the pop up if i go to sync my apps from my library anyway, is there any way i can delete my original itunes library without it even existing anymore so that i can just start afresh and sync everything i have on my phone now directly to my new itunes library? or do i need to purchase this iphone rip/backup/store software that everyone goes on about or something? to be honest its really annoying my now as i just want to be able to sync everything like how i used to,

I recently updated iTunes. The update went smoothly, but immediately after the update iTunes no longer shows my iPhone4. The diagnostics show that everything is okay with exception of the no iPhone connected error. I've run through all of the Apple helps but nothing has fixed the problem. The same problem occurs on other user profiles on the same computer. The computer is a 64-bit Windows 7 machine. Windows 7 shows the iPhone and I can access it as a camera or drive. I've re-installed the phone USB driver but still no go. I can plug my phone into another computer and the sync works fine.

I have tried syncing my phone to my computer before but it deleted any song and playlist that wasn't in the iTunes on my computer. I sometimes will buy a song on my phone and I don't want to have to look up every song I have bought on my phone to go through and download it on my computer. I downloaded some of my old CD's to itunes and I've noticed that the songs are not downloading to my iphone, even when I go to my phone and music and check the box. I've sync'd like 5 times and nothing.
I've also noticed that some of my CD's that I've downloaded are listed under my other music but its not available to checkmark the box under my music.
I have no idea what's going on. Is is a PC issue? Is it an itunes issue?
