A while back, I was able to go to iTunes and click a power search button and was able to click a box that said 'free apps only' and browse all free game apps or all free weather apps etc. Now it only let's me view the top 100 in each category. How can I browse for free apps without those free apps mixed in with the paid apps?

I use Blackberry's Media Player to listen to music and watch videos, I used to have a bb 8800 and when i played videos and check other apps like messenger or browser i could continue listening to the music of the video, after a while i upgraded and i wasnt able to do so anymore, Now i've got a curve 9300 with os 5.0.0.845 and everytime i watch a video i have to stay in the same window and not using other apps or neither the menu btn cos it inmediatly stops.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo after I loaded up 4.0 on my 3Gs, I was playing around, and went into the App store, and next to a few apps, I'll use Pandora as an example, next to where it says how much the app costs, it has a + next to it. At first I thought, maybe it shows if you have it installed, went to another app that I have installed, wasn't there. Then I thought maybe gift the app, but Pandora is free, why would you gift a free app? Then I thought, well this is how you show if an app will be made for multitasking, so i checked Skype, wasn't there. So i was wondering if anyone had an idea of what the + means. And I think it's only 4.0 related because my friends who are still on 3.1.3 don't see it in their app store.

3 days ago, I was able to update my apps. But when I tried to download new apps, it doesn't allow me now. When i clicked on "purchase/free", it just gave me a broken "install" box. Now that I have your attention... I had 2 pages of apps on my iPhone. I did a reboot holding the power and home button like I always do very so often. Phone came back on and all 3rd party apps are gone off my phone!
One other time before this when I did a reboot it gave me the apple logo with the spinning wheel inside it and wouldn't boot up.I was jailbroken on 4.01 the 1st day but have done multiple dfu restores since than. Shouldn't it be working perfect?
I have a 3g and I am JB with rock. Last night my phone would no longer launch any app store apps. All the apps when started immediately crash. All native apps as well as all JB apps work fine. I didnt install any new apps. I did update Rock but I cant remember if it was doing that before or after the Rock update. Any one know how to fix this without a restore. I sync my phone at work and a full restore is a PITA!

There appears to be a issue again using iOS 3.1.3 which I have on my original 2G Iphone trying to download new apps from the Appstore.
Just to be clear, iOS 3.1.3 is the latest version that can be installed and be supported on the original Iphone 2G (can't update the iOS to a later version).
If you try to download/install a new app from the App Store using iOS 3.1.3 and click on the install button, it turns green and does not do anything. If you have an existing app using iOS 3.13 and there is a update for the app, then the install might download. This isn't a problem with the device needing to be restored, it is a problem with a some change Apple did on their end to the AppStore thats not compatible with iOS3.1.3.
This happened before back in Dec 2011 and it took a few weeks to get Apple to admitt it was their problem and install a fix at their end for the App Store for iOS 3.13. The Apple support people kept on telling everyone to try to restore your device which was a waste of time.
