I just plugged my 4s into my itunes and it said i needed to update my ios. i did it and now its broke, my phone just has the pic of usb and itunes on it telling me to plug it in like when i first bouhanksght it. i plugged it in and it wont do anything. i have turned it on and off and its still the same.

I position my iphone how I want it which is just in a natural positon infront of me and press the center G-Scope button. But during the game if I move back to my original position the crosshair is way off to the right and not center and the more I play the more off to the right it goes.

Will I lose all my stuff on my iPhone?Is there anyway I can keep my apps, contacts etc without losing everything? Or should I just never connect my phone to itunes again?
View 15 Replies View RelatedI installed Frash (Flash for iPhone) using the original deb, and then, again via Cydia. It worked pretty good for me and I like that it didnt load any flash unless you tapped on it, saving you from all the pop-ups and ads on some pages. I did find that very large pages would have a hard time keeping up with the combination of Frash and User Agent Faker (iPad/Mozilla settings) I was running and would sometimes cause Safari to crash to the Springboard.
That only happened 1-2 times a day so I would've kept it, but after a couple of days I realized it had broken my MMS. I could no longer send them and I was not receiving them either. I really don't know what one had to do with the other, but it was the only change I had made. Sure enough, when I uninstalled Frash, MMS worked again. While I actually did like having the option to load Flash in Safari, it was not enough for me to give up MMS. I couldn't find a fix so Frash had to go but I'm interested in hearing about other user's experiences and opinions.

I have all my apps and itunes on my iphone4 (but this is out of date at 4.3.5 (8L1) ) so as i cannot access my old pc am i at risk of loosing my iphone data if i plug my iphone into my new pc and attempt to sync? How can I protect whats on my iphone in case such attempt deletes everything? I can't down load anything else to my iphone as it says its I need to update whcih I never got round to.

Only the glass broke, the LCD is intact and fully functional. Any idea on how much apple would charge to fix? A few months I broke the back glass and they fixed it for $30. I know this fix requires more work, but has anyone had any real experience with this happening to them? I live in Atlanta if that means anything??

Phone fell out of my pocket on a roller coaster, it stayed in one piece and will turn on but with no screen activity. To back up my phone itunes tells me it requires me to input the password. I created the password via find my iphone. Is there a way to turn off the iphone password through icloud or a different method? I am in need of recovering what I have on this phone.

Last night around 10:00pm ET I was using my3G and facetime while i was out. This morning, Cydia had a couple updates, one of them being Mobile Substrate. After updating Cydia, I can no longer get Facetime to work. It attempts to connect, but then call failed.I tried on 3G and WiFi, with no luck. ANyone else having this issue? I tried rebooting, disable and re-enable facetime, and reset network settings. UPDATE: In the Phone settings, it now says "Facetime ON. Activation Unsuccessful. Turn on facetime and try again and it repeats with attempting to activate.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy Built in App Photos seems to be broken after installing the Living Earth App. I have only a Black screen when I turn on the App that shows me the different formats that I can use to crop the picture but there is no picture. When I try to return to the original Picture from living earth the screen is black with the format button on the bottom.

Some background info:Carrier: Vodafone (holland)Model: Blackberry curve (I think 8520 but I am not 100% sure).OS version: unknown (I think maybe 5, but I am not sure sorry, since it won't start up I can't check. my phone is about 3 years old, I've tried to install updates but on the website it always sais that there is no new updates available whenever I try).
The problem:Since yesterday afternoon, my blackberry won't start up.When I plug it in, nothing happens. When it is plugged in and I hold the green button, a red light appears for about 20 seconds, this disappears and then after about 10 seconds a large picture of abattery with lightning appears (it is light blue and it is large, not in top of the screen but in screen center).After a a few seconds that one disappears as well.
Ive tried:
- another charger
- remove battery
- remove battery and replace after 5 minutes
- remove battery and replace after 5 minutes while phone was on charger
- left it on the charger the entire night.
I don't recall doing anything special before this happened, my phone worked. A couple of hours before I had plenty of battery.
I do think this happened before, but after starting it a couple of times (pressing some buttons at once, battery pull) it started again. Now it doesn't .

- How I can start my blackberry up again.
my volume up button broke somehow, without dropping the phone or something, it just stopped working suddenly. Now I have the problem that I can't increase my volume when i'm calling and I can't increase the volume of the mp3 player, is there any workaround for this?

When I log into App World on my BB, it says that I have no programs under any of the areas (i.e. Installed, Uninstalled or Upgrades). I have downloaded all of the Free 'thank you' programs but none are there. I have done a battery pull 3 times, no luck though and even logged back into BB App World, but still no programs. Tried to install a program I did once have (15 mins ago) and it allowed me to, no error like it was already installed.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded my Xperia Pro to Android 4.0.4. Since then, I cannot connect to my home WiFi network. The phone cycles in Obtaining IP -> WPA2 -> Connected -> Obtaining IP..... Occasionally, the phone will connect but only after a few hours of cycling.
My wife's Xperia Pro is still using Android 2.3.4 and the WiFi connection works fine.
Two identical phones with different Android versions. It is likely that the upgrade to 4.0.4 is the root cause of the problem. This upgrade wasautomatically recommended by the phone.
I can temporarily work around this problem by changing the home AP security to open. But this is unacceptable. I read that many people have WiFi problems after upgrading to 4.0.4. Will you be posting a patch anytime soon?
my samsung galaxy s2 broke down on me a week ago. How this happened was that I saw the ota update being available for downloading so I proceeded to download the update. Now, when it got the update and it automatically started to install, The phones battery died (inthe middle of the installation). when i charged it up and turned it on an error message comes up after the samsung logo saying the package installer got an error and now wont let me use the phone at all ( it freezes up after the message). I tried restarting it but the same thing happened. the phone is now unusable. i visited a phone stor asking if they could repair it but no, they couldnt. what to do? send the phone in/swap it out?

Phone does everything except receive incoming texts - voice, email are working fine. Vodafone suggested downgrading to the version 4, so I got 4.4.6.1.310 by following links from Vodafone's web site.Still no incoming texts, more time talking with Vodafone conclude it's a problem with the handset.Their third level support people say it's a return to base "for zapping".
Recently I purchased a blackberry curve 8520. The phone worked great and was one of the best phones I had ever used. But now it doesn't seem to respond anymore. The only way to get into my phone when turned on is to push the switch off button for about 3 seconds and then the phone will ask me to unlock it. This is kind off annoying because I'm not used to using the phone like this. I don't know how this happened. The only reason I can think of is that a few weeks ago I was pushed and I hit a wall with the phone in my pocket, this broke my g-key. The key did not fall off it just stopped functioning. This used to annoy me too but I learned to live with it. My question now is, will blackberry still repair the phone if I send it back ?

When i turned the phone in, the whole phone worked and only had that breakline. No other damage. It wil cost me €93,56 for changing the front! Well the phone has not been fallen or something. It is just the plastic that was weak.
2 days ago my phone randomly looses signal, (I'm in the middle of London in location at which I would normally get at least 4 bars 'H' signal), I wait for 10 minutes still nothing so I try and turn it off, the phone freezes/gets stuck with the 'phone shutting down' message on display.At this point I decide to just take the battery out and put it back in, after doing so the phone will not turn on what so ever. When I get home that evening I try to charge it, nothing, no lights and still won't turn on.
Taking the battery out again, followed by the sim card and memory card I notice that the memory card has a crack in it, all the way across and just under the gold contacts. I think nothing of it as surely this couldn't have happened while it was in the phone and must have been there the whole time, so put everything back in and try again. Nothing. Open it up again and take out the memory card, leaving it out this time I try again and the phone starts up.So Sony Ericsson,

View 2 Replies View RelatedHad my HTC Sensation break today.Only had it 3 months so it's still under warranty. The volume rocker fell off. Called T-mobile. They said it was a known issue and would be covered but they said I had to call HTC. So I did. THEY said I had to mail back the BACK of the phone because it was an ACCESSORY! This was not a separate purchase. It was the back that came with the phone! The regular back cover. And after mailing the back, back to HTC they would mail me a replacement. Now if this is a known issue, why isn't T-mobile dealing with it as a customer service? I shouldn't have to mail it back to HTC. It is already an inconvenience to have to drive to the T-mobile store. Or HTC should cover postage. When Dell has to replce a part, they send you a prepaid return label. It is the last HTC phone I will buy and may be the last time I renew with T-mobile.
