well basically i bought this phone used and the microsd slot metal part/spring whatever you call it, is not there, is their any way i can still use a microsd in my phone?
Is there a way to turn off the vibration/click each time the screen is pressed? Second, where are the sound clips? I've put my memory card from my 5800 and the photos are there but I can't find 'sound clips' anywhere. Usually photos, sound and videos are all in 'gallery' but I can't find that anywhere.
I just want to find out if you have a 1520 which has an external memory - SD card. If you download video clips from "tube download" & "YouTube Downloader free" apps for offline viewing. Where are these video clips stored - phone memory or SD card?
I've had my lumia 800 for a year now and loved it, but unfortunately I dropped it on the corner closest to the sim card slot, and it appears that the clip which stops the sim card holder from springing up has been damaged so it won't stay in place anymore and pops up. This obviously means that the phone doesnt detect the sim and turns off.
Did anyone have a **** of a time trying to get the micro sd card out of the slot like I did? The manual says there should be a lever mine doesnt have it!
I just read on PCWorld that the Droid 3 comes with 16GB of internal memory, and that's it. No microSD card slot, and no 32GB version of the Droid 3. What's up with that? I currently am using 20GB on my Droid, and I can't upgrade to a phone that only allows me 16GB. The iPhone even has a 32GB version. Is PCWorld correct? I can't verify this on Verizon Wireless' site or even Motorola's, as Motorola doesn't have the phone listed in their store yet! url...
My media card slot just stopped working suddenly and i cannot figure out why. i have a media card in there now but it doesnt say it detects one. ive also tried putting in another media card but it says it doesnt detect that one either.
I just received a replacement refurbished flipside that came with a micro SD Card that was NOT already pre-installed in the phone. When I went to try to put it in, it doesn't fit right! It seems to be too small and moves around too much in the slot. Am I just doing something wrong? How is it supposed to fit in that slot? There is a little rubber tap that says "Lift Here" -- I do that and put the micro SD Card in the slot, but the card is just to small!
I do have a question regarding my Xperia Z3 Compact memory card slot max. read/write speed. I tried to find out from the Hungarian and UK technical support, but no hope, none of them knows the answer. Quite embarrassing they don't know the information about a product that they design and sell.
So i would like to buy a 64GB micro card but if the phone cannot read/write for example 90 mb/s I would rather not buy that fast card.
I just sent my Xoom off on a repair ticket because when I went to put in the SD card, I goofed. I did not realize the clear plastic "fingernail" was holding the SD slot. I tried to put the card in and it slipped under the appointed slot and got stuck inside the Xoom.if you haven't inserted your SD card yet, don't do what I did. There is a clear plastic tab that must be removed from the slot for the SD card. get the card back with the Xoom. It worked fine even with the stuck card, but the dust cover wouldn't go back on.
2 days ago my phone randomly looses signal, (I'm in the middle of London in location at which I would normally get at least 4 bars 'H' signal), I wait for 10 minutes still nothing so I try and turn it off, the phone freezes/gets stuck with the 'phone shutting down' message on display. At this point I decide to just take the battery out and put it back in, after doing so the phone will not turn on what so ever. When I get home that evening I try to charge it, nothing, no lights and still won't turn on.
Taking the battery out again, followed by the sim card and memory card I notice that the memory card has a crack in it, all the way across and just under the gold contacts. I think nothing of it as surely this couldn't have happened while it was in the phone and must have been there the whole time, so put everything back in and try again. Nothing. Open it up again and take out the memory card, leaving it out this time I try again and the phone starts up.So Sony Ericsson,
Some background info:Carrier: Vodafone (holland)Model: Blackberry curve (I think 8520 but I am not 100% sure).OS version: unknown (I think maybe 5, but I am not sure sorry, since it won't start up I can't check. my phone is about 3 years old, I've tried to install updates but on the website it always sais that there is no new updates available whenever I try).
The problem:Since yesterday afternoon, my blackberry won't start up.When I plug it in, nothing happens. When it is plugged in and I hold the green button, a red light appears for about 20 seconds, this disappears and then after about 10 seconds a large picture of abattery with lightning appears (it is light blue and it is large, not in top of the screen but in screen center). After a a few seconds that one disappears as well.
Ive tried:
- another charger - remove battery - remove battery and replace after 5 minutes - remove battery and replace after 5 minutes while phone was on charger - left it on the charger the entire night.
I don't recall doing anything special before this happened, my phone worked. A couple of hours before I had plenty of battery. I do think this happened before, but after starting it a couple of times (pressing some buttons at once, battery pull) it started again. Now it doesn't .
Desktop manager informed me that there was an update available, so I opted to go ahead with it.Version 5.0.0.411 installed successfully and all data was restored.
Phone does everything except receive incoming texts - voice, email are working fine. Vodafone suggested downgrading to the version 4, so I got 4.4.6.1.310 by following links from Vodafone's web site.Still no incoming texts, more time talking with Vodafone conclude it's a problem with the handset.Their third level support people say it's a return to base "for zapping".
Recently I purchased a blackberry curve 8520. The phone worked great and was one of the best phones I had ever used. But now it doesn't seem to respond anymore. The only way to get into my phone when turned on is to push the switch off button for about 3 seconds and then the phone will ask me to unlock it. This is kind off annoying because I'm not used to using the phone like this. I don't know how this happened. The only reason I can think of is that a few weeks ago I was pushed and I hit a wall with the phone in my pocket, this broke my g-key. The key did not fall off it just stopped functioning. This used to annoy me too but I learned to live with it. My question now is, will blackberry still repair the phone if I send it back ?
I have a BB Bold 2 (9700). The Media Card slot wont lock down the card and keeps springing it out. If i keep the card pressed down it works but wont lock down.
i just got my behold2 and cannot get any video clips from the web to play. i can get you tube to work only but any others it wants me to download the clip first. is there a way to set it so it will play without having to download it first?
I made a video clip of my blackberry bold 9700 phone but there's no mms send button it only show through yahoo messenger or through email but no mms send button like my nokia phone or other phones but not on blackberry what's up with
Using an iPhone 4, I accidently made a Web Clip from Safari. I've read that a red X should appear after holding down on the icon, but it does not pop up? I'm sure the Web Clip icon is not shipped with the iPhone, so why can I not delete it straight from my phone?
I took videos from my IPhone. 1. How can I download them into my computer? 2. I tried to email them but it is too long. I have to email them in several clips. How can I email one video (about 2min long) without cutting it into clips?
i got the 16gb memorycard so i thougt i'd convert some videoclips made with a proper videocamera that uses .mov format also got some snagged Internet clips in realtimeformat that id like to convert.i'm using avs videoconverter to do this.looking at a vidclip made with the phone i see it's saved in .3gp format. i load the .mov file and then save it to .3gp but it will not play on the phone i've tried different settings on the screensize, audio quality and managed to get some bad quality audio to play but thats about as far as i get.theres alot of settings to change on both videocodecs and audiocodecs.trial and error method would just take to long.so what settings exactly should i use to get a converted file to behave on the x10 mini pro?
videcodec? (intel itu h.263 or mpeg4?) framesize? framrate? bitrate?
[code]....
just to get the settings of a file recorded on a x10mini?
