the phone still works but the bottom left corner has kinda broke free and needs reattached. Its bn getting worst for weeks then it broke free today. Wd nokia care sort this? If so wd i get a replacement fone to use til then?

I read many many E52 phones suffer Internal GPS fix problems. I don't beleve this is an hardware problem, but only a software bug. My experiments say this:
1) Start phone, start Ovi Maps -> No lock at all. (only 1 blinking line in bottom left corner)
2) Start phone, start McGuider (Sygic) navigator -> E52 locks quite immedeately. (in the same place!!)
3) After GPS is locked, start Ovi Maps again. Now also Maps works great!
4) Also the gps built-in application under Menu->Applications->GPS->GPS Data has the same behaviour as Ovi Maps.

I am from Bulgaria and yesterday I bought Nokia x7. After only 4 hours the phone freezed on maps and stayed like for like an hour. Finaly I managed to turned off and on and there was a yellow spot on the screen. Its visible only on lighter colors. I brought it back and they sayed that I could be my mistake but I didnt do anything to it only downloaded some aplications from ovi store.

View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently, my Nokia N97 had water leaked into the phone while it was on. I had it in a friend's bag, and it sat at the very bottom, when his drink bottle leaked, causing half of the phone to be submerged for around 10 minutes, before we realized what had happened.
His own phone was also submerged, but he managed to get it working fine. Mine however, turned off, or seemed to go black in the screen, and had water filled up in most of it. I immediately took the battery out, wiped down the phone and placed it into a bowl of rice. In three days, most of the water disappeared from the phone, except for a small blot, which left a white patch when it dried under the screen. Now, when I put the battery in, the phone lights up at its buttons on the screen such as the menu button, and the red light of the camera.
I just replaced my screen on my Nokia Lumia 1020. And now the screen is just black, but when i put into a charger there's a green light at the bottom of the screen.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Nokia 5630 got wet. After that I dissembled it and dried it. Everything was ok beforer the second reboot. Thats when I reseted my phone. It obviously failed. Now when I plug my phone in to charge (either to usb or just power) the blue light on the back (on top of the 3,2 MPix camera) is always on until the battery runs out. I have tried the *,3,answer button (green) trick and that also didn't work. My phone just won't turn on.Also, I have tried removing the sim card (as shown in the attachment) and memory card and that didn't work either.

Its annoying when I am trying to record something, Sometimes it will reflect off surfaces.. The preparation phase will not complete:
"Preparing to sync notes..."
"Preparing to sync calendar and tasks..."
It also cannot be aborted.
When setting up sync, the selection of Outlook folders is very slow (several minutes), but it eventually does allow me to choose a folder. Still, I'm guessing the problem lies with the Outlook interface (MAPI?)
I haven't tried to re-install Ovi yet, but looks like I have to.
I've just bought a 5230 and I'm really annoyed that I don't have the functionality my E51 had where if it was really dark the screen would dim down. This is an important thing to me since I tend to read at night and I dislike having to go all the way to settings and so on.
Do you know any piece of software that could change screen brightness based on the light sensor readings?I'm just amazed the phone software doesn't do that on its own but hey s60v5 is worse than s60v3...
Is there any link on help for bottom short cut bar for xterm? What is the first key that is pointer arrow mark? I also tried set -o vi and tried to use j, k to move up and down and it did not work. I never worked with this shell though.

I do not have any unread messages, nor do I have any unplayed voicemail ... also, I have not set up an email account, so it is not unread email either.Does anyone have any ideas what it is and how I can get rid of it? Anyone had the same problem? I can't find anything in the manual to explain it and would appreciate any advice.

1, apt-get clean -> i do it as root, it seems thats it is done succesfully, but didnt help
2, apt-get autoremove -> I do it as root too, but it says:"E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --config -a' to correct the problem", so when I type dpkg --configure -a it says:"dpkg: unable to open/create status databasa lockfile: No space left on device"
3, I tryid to reinstal OS via PC suite.. ..but it still fail with reinstalation(a long time ago i already updated OS 2 times)
4,I already tried flasher, but I'm still geting "...%m"error
