Launching the camera app by mistake is annoying and it happens from time to time.
I tried Settings > Display & gestures > Motion Launch gestures but it looks like I'll have to disabled the whole thing.

Apr 15, 2012Whenever I take a picture with my 4S (OS 5.1) the camera automatically closes it out and goes back to main screen. I can't access my photos except thru photostream w/o it closing out. I tried to hard reset it but it did not fix the problem.

May 31, 2012I have the Nike+ GPS app, and it has worked fine for almost a year, but a few weeks ago it wouldn't let me log in to sync my runs anymore, and today it stopped working entirely, quitting on startup every time... what I can do to fix an app that quits on startup all the time?
I've tried deleting it, and installing it again, but that just made me loose my saved runs, so I restored my phone from a backup, and now the app is there and should contain my data, but it quits on startup!

Aug 23, 2015I have a issue with my LG G4. When i use chrome or different apps on my G4, then suddenly the phone quits the app and starts another. It is tapping by its own on random links when i am on chrome etc. without me touching the screen. To provoke og trigger the effect, i can start the Antutu touch screen test. When i touch the screen with sometimes only 3 fingers,then the it goes completely mad. It begins tapping all over the screen, and it then quits the Antutu app and starts alot of other apps and it just keeps on doing the random tapping until i stop touching the screen. After this i go to the chrome app and start reading an artical, then suddenly it taps on links og quits chrome.

I then turn off my monitor of my computer and head to bed with my cell phone in hand.
I then use my WIFI and access Motocast and stream Videos. Its a .wmv format; it plays but then freezes up, plays then freezes up; I usually can deal with it. But after selecting a different video to play I get an error message saying "requires flash to play video" then a few other videos wont play. Then when I quit Motocast on my cell phone and go back in, it says that my Computer is offline

Jun 11, 2012I've had my Motorola Electrify since the middle of November last year and didn't really notice it too much for atleast a couple months, but recently if I dont reboot my phone for more than 2 days, and sometimes sooner than that, it will stop playing any notification sounds and just now it didn't even play any ring sound at all when I just received a call. It vibrated, but didn't play any sound. This is getting frustrating. I have even factory reset my phone a few weeks ago because of other things, and it still hasn't fixed this issue. In fact it seems to be getting worse. At first it was SOME notification sounds after 4 or 5 days not rebooting, now its all notification AND ring sounds after just a couple days. I have the app "Tasker" installed and have sounds associated with some profiles, but don't really think thats the problem because its not just sounds associated with the app, its system events too, like receiving a call, etc.

Aug 23, 2011After the gingerbread update I found that the proximity sensor would quit workng and the only solution was to restart the phone. I found that using bluetooth caused this behavior (repeated several times) by getting it to fail (although not every time) using the following sequence.
1. Power down and restart the phone (so that it was in a known state)
2. Call voice mail to confirm that the proximity sensor was working
3. Turn on blue tooth.
4. Turn off blue tooth. (didn't use it in between other then to connect with headset)
5. Call voice mail and proximity sensor would not work.
6. Cycle power on phone
7. Call voice mail and proximity sensor would work.
My solution was to quit using bluetooth and have not been using since the first week I updated to gingerbread. I did have the sensor quit working one time since but didn't think much of it until my daughter-in-law told me she had the same problem and she doesn't use bluetooth but she does use the speaker phone much more than I do. I believe that both speaker phone and bluetooth functions disable the sensor while in use. Is it possible that it is not always getting re-enabled? I have seen other posts concerning the proximity sensor not working but have not seen a tie to bluetooth use.

Jun 16, 2010Due to some AT&T glitch I was one of the few that couldn't pre-order until about 5 hours ago. Now the iPhone is only shipping by July 14th. If I go ahead and order one on Apple's website for my line will I still be able to wait in line on launch day and buy a phone for that same line (with my upgrade) or will I then be forced to pay the $599/$699 price point (due to me having already ordered one on Apple's site)?
Right now I'm eligible for the $199/$299 price point.

Jun 19, 2010Apple and ATT have really messed up this release with the iPhone 4. First no statement about the iPhone 4 and now there canceling peoples contracts giving stupid excuses. How didnt the have time to ramp up the production. If im right wasnt gizmodos prototype which was basically a finished product come out about 3 months ago? Why not have enough for launch day? Wow apple can atleast explain about the white iPhone.

Done a full restore with no joy(and another problem, iTunes wiped my iPhone 4 back up when I just choose to call my restore iPhone 'iPhone' to test it out - is my back up lost forever? I'm assuming if I take it back to the Apple store at the weekend, if they have stock, they'll have to give me a brand new replacement? It's just over a week old, so I'd want one in a sealed box!
