Jul 1, 2012I can confirm my 4S and all my other devices are not able to activate iMessage after it is toggled off and back on. It simply stays stuck on "Waiting for activation" and eventually goes to "Activation unsuccessful. Turn on imessage to try again". All with no avail. get your engineers on this ASAP apple. More and more people are facing this issue. Devices that are already receiving and sending imessages are unaffected. However when you toggle imessage off and then back on, it does not reactivate. This must clearly be a ongoing issue with your icloud server from yesterdays outages.

Jun 10, 2010i'm sure plenty of you will say, "Use the search function!" or something but im kinda in a When you go to an Apple store and they activate your phone, is that the same as going to the actual AT&T store and activating it and renewing your 2-year agreement? Or would i have to get the phone from the Apple store, then go to the AT&T store and then set up my new 2-year agreement? I plan on getting the new phone the day it comes out and i just don't want anything getting in the way of that. My current phone has dead pixels going halfway across the screen so i cant wait to finally pick up a new one!

Jul 2, 2012i am using 9360. while activating hotmail, google, yahoo mail accounts etc. i do not have any problem. but while i am activating my company mail account server rejects me and gives "wrong password" answer to me. i have just discuss with my mail server this topic. they give me this answer: "blackberry using the docode service and we are using courier service thats why they are given problem and not working properly . Jun 9, 2010I was planning on going to the Apple store to get an iPhone 4, but my wife just pointed out that when I did that to get my 3G we had a huge headache as Apple couldn't activate my phone since we have a discount on our plan... I had to go across the mall to AT&T to have them take the discount off, go back to Apple to get the iPhone (AT&T didn't have any in stock) then after all that headache we went back to AT&T and they couldn't put the discount back on for 48 hours.so I had to make a special trip to the AT&T store an hour drive.
Anyone experience anything like this last year with the 3GS? Anyone know if the issue is fixed? Or do I just need to get my phone direct from AT&T? On a side note, does anyone know if it's possible to start a new plan or add a line to an existing plan with my 3G so that line wouldn't have a new 2 year agreement?

May 14, 2010We're running BB Pro Software, version 4.1.4.17 in an exchange environment. We've been using 8900 handsets in the UK, over Vodafone for some time, and tyey work great... ...but now we have a new user who's bought a 9700, again over Vodafone, but this time in Germany. When he attempts to use enterprise activation he (eventually) receives "enterprise server has not responded to your activation request"
We've checked that his data plan is compatible with BES. So - how do we get this working? Do I need to upgrade to BES Express 5.0?

Jun 20, 2010I've been connected to my work email account through Microsoft Exchange for the past year with no problems. I was trying to send out an email today, and my iPhone could not connect to the server. I tried to re-connect multiple times, ultimately deleting the email account from my phone and attempting to re-install it. When I put in all the info into their respective fields and hit "next," all I get is a message that says "Exchange account verification failed." When I go through and save it anyway and try and update emails, it says that it cannot connect to the server. My IT dept. says no changes were made, and I've already tried a restore and restored from a backup, as well.I have no contacts, emails, or calendar on my phone!

Apr 21, 2012The story so far: I bought an accessory in Nov 2011 at an Apple Retail Store. (Philips dual-dock speaker) It started malfunctioning in Mar 2012. (Dock not charging anymore) I brought it to an Apple Store (closer to my place), they were happy to replace it on the spot, except that there was none in stock. So I was advised to go to an other Store (the original one), where they had stock. So far, so good for service. I went to the other store, but there I was told that they could not replace it because I had bought it more than 14 days before, so I had to contact the manufacturer directly! So my questions are:
- What is, if any, the actual policy on non-Apple product repair & replacement?
- Why don't all store follow the same policy?
- Should I just try my luck again with another person, until I strike gold and get it replaced?
