My iphone4 developed an email glitch today. When I try to open an email, delete an email, or just scroll down the list of emails, the app blinks off and returns to the home page. I tried turning the phone on and off, and also tried resetting without success.

how to make this stop? Ive looked everywhere in settings ive reset my phone at least 5 times ive turned my phone off and back on and it still wont stop. Its driving me nuts i dont want my flash to go insane everytime i receieve something.

But for now,I have a basic inquiry.i use aol email(accessed using tmobile web n walk) and need to access music i receive to work on .when i receive a mail over 5mb,i do not have the option to open or save it?why is this(even my old c902 had no limit as such)?also an attachment accessed via my laptop measured at say for instance,4.5mb(a fairly normal music file size) will be increased by 20% or so in size when accessing it via the X10?why?this is pushing most of the files over this 5mb limit(if there is indeed a limit)Would setting up a different email account make any difference or how i view/access my mail?are there any other settings i could change?ive contacted SE and they see no reason for it not to work 'in theory' but havnt actually guided me to any solution.

One uses an iPhone, the other is looking at a Droid.Is there a quick and easy way to access Exchange on our phones? Do we have to have a third party app?My wife, who is in no way tech-savvy, was able to easily sync with her work email, calendar, and contacts on her personal iPhone after a simple walk-through phone call with her IT department (They have since somehow disabled this function for non company issued phones. But I am having difficulty accessing the email settings on my Torch so that I can tap in the new password. I go to "Set up" and then have the choice of "Internet mail account" or "Enterprise account". I click on the first one and get a page entitled "existing users". I then have to tap in my user name and password. I assume this refers to my blackberry username and password. But when I tap the info in and press "continue" I get a message saying "The user name is invalid. A user name must be at least 4 characters". My user name is my gmail address which includes 16 letters before @gmail.com.

Disabling or enabling this option doesn't change anything whatsoever. I like new features but I prefer having no option rather than being teased by a half-arsed setting.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI backed up my old 3G phone and have been trying to restore the backup to my new iphone 4 but it will not do it. IT seems to complete the process, but then the phone just keeps returning to the 'hello' screen when the itunes process has finished, therefore you have to try and redo it again and the same thing happens. I have tried an older backup too so I don't think it's the back up files causing the issue.Â

After upgrading to v40, I've compared the new homescreen to the old homescreen and to the old homescreen with v21-31, these are my findings.
- The old homescreen on v40 does not have the email notification that Nokia introduced a short while ago and which was obviously VERY well recieved globally.
- The new homescreen on v40 has kinetic scrolling contacts which is, um, cute. It has the ability to control the music player (What I found to be very buggy, crashing it by simply pressing 'forward' when it's playing a folder with 1 song).
- The new homescreen on v40 does not have calendar and tasks, probably for the space the new music player-thing takes. This was my FAVORITE thing on the homescreen and I am sure I'm not alone.
I truly hope Nokia addresses these issues by either returning the email notifications to the old homescreen or somehow allowing to see the calendar and tasks on the new homescreen. Or both.

When I am typing in mail or text messages, i constantly get random line returns in the middle of a sentence (starting a new line with a capitalized word) even though I'm careful not to mis-type periods or spaces. This can happen several times in one message. It happened on my old iPhone 4 and now on my new 5s. What can I do to stop this?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I woke up this morning, my iPhone 4 said that I had to activate it by connecting it to iTunes. I had no computer nearby, so I waited for a while. Now it does not react, unless it plugged in to a Mac. When it is plugged in the apple logo appears for 10 seconds and then it´s gone. It has been blinking for about 4 hours now. I´ve tried to hold the power and the home buttons in several times, but it does not work. It was and still is fully charged.

Yesterday I got my old iPhone 5S replaced for a new one, since it was displaying a blue screen all the times.Â
Today I noticed that when the flash is one it kinda blinks, but it's noticeable since it's possible to notice the variation of the light during videos.Â
Do I seriously need to drive to the store for the 3rd time, 45 minutes away and way 5 more days to get it replaced?... Apple is losing my trust...

I'm running into an odd issue where one of our blackberry 9930's will not return a result from an advanced search in e-mail. (However doing a normal search will return a result.) I've tested the same search function on a separate 9930 attached to a different account, and had no issues there. I was wondering if there were any common fixes I could look into for this device. I've already done the reboot/pull battery, and bring the device backup.
